I purchased the light strip for a woodworking project, knowing I was to cut it shorter. I wasn't aware that they only have cut indicators to a specific legnth, and they are weren't where I needed to cut. I took the chance and cut the strip close to where I needed by using the dots and lining them up so I cut on the right interval. Success! If done right, these can be shortened beyond what they show on the strip alone. The light works wonderful, the little controller has plenty of colors, and the ability to control them with the phone is solid. I personally didn't download the app and use the wifi functionality, but it's nice that it's available.

I love govess smart ecosystem that integrates all the rgb lighing in my home with other smart services and devices. My entire room lighting around tv and pc can easily be set to reflect and project the atmosphere in ypur game or movie to your entire room or you can set atmosphere in house for haloween with lights syncroniced to dark purples and greens with spooky flashes and shadows. Govee is the only brand ive tried that sucessfuully and easily integrates into smart home system will say little pricy but worth if u can afford it. On a budget id still reccomend govee just buy used from classifieds

Wasn’t sure about this strip at first because I have no Govee products. I’m a Hue guy. I noticed this was made specifically for desks so I figured I would give it a try. It did not disappoint. It fits my desk perfectly and the adhesive is strong. The colors and brightness are nice. Animations are kind of corny. I’d definitely recommend for your gaming set up.

I love these lights. Not only do the preset features on the control rock!!! But once you have a few other Govee devices you can link them all together. I love that it works with HomeKit so I have it linked all thru my phone. These lights and this company are awesome!! Money well spent!

These lights make the aesthetic of my room look better. They are easy to use and easy to control. The whole process took bout 10 minutes to install and they look amazing in my room.

These lights are so awesome especially when music is played. I recommend anyone buying these lights.

This was for my son’s gaming desk and it was easy to install and he loves changing the colors with the app when he’s gaming or for when sleeping.

Love the lights they go with the setup really well and they were easy to connect. Ten out of ten would recommend they're easy to pair with everything else

These lights are awesome and the app is very user friendly, i just wish the lights curved easier, they kind of lost shape when installing them on the back of my TV.

It is effortless to use and easy to apply on a desk.

Despite the LED light tower and this neon rope being the same style of LED (neon rope), the Lamps seem to be a looot brighter. This neon rope doesn’t exactly color match to the rest of my govee. The shade of white isn’t the same, orange comes up as yellow and that’s all I’ve found out so far by playing with it for a few minutes. I have attached two photos. Both are cool white 100% the first photo brightness is 36% and you can see how the rope shows a hue of blue. The second photo is 1% brightness which you can see clear as day the difference in LED.

My favorite part about these lights is that i can sync them to my razer devices and every looks amazing!

Love these lights!! this is my second Govee product and there is no turning back! Easy to use, beautiful lights, works with the govee app, i have not added it to alexa but that will be done shortly, and as an added bonus if you are a gamer they work with the razer chroma program making gaming more fun than ever before!! totally recommend this product.

This led strip is really vibrant. I placed it kn the back of my desk with the included adhesive strip. It almost covered the entire length, would have been nicer if it was 8 ft long. The diffuser cover gives the reflective glow a very uniform look. My office has a Star Wars them with Red LED accents and this light strip fits right in place and is easy to control the colors

Not much to say other than you get exactly what you need with this. Easy to set up, fun to make color schemes for, and just looks great. Only small issue is it can run got if you have the brightness too high. Other than that I love it! 9/10

My daughter put these lights on the dash of her Bronco. She real enjoys the look and the options. Best option is to dim them for night driving so they do not distract too much. Only change I would make is for the to be about half the width and thickness if possible for a vehicle option.
