I love the gameplay of this game but three things that prevented me from giving this 5 stars. But to all their own. 1. Always online. The nations internet are not the most stable no matter what company you have or how many mbps. When servers go down in the future, the game is useless. 2. Micro transactions. I understand I can grind for the credits but it is a long and excruciating grind and by that time the cars rotate so you might have to wait your chance to buy again someday. Also micro transactions prices are ridiculous. 3. Can’t sell your cars. Downer for me. But like I said if none of these bother you then it is a great gameplay.

Nice collectible metal case. Very nice intro movie. Graphics is awesome. Nice implementation and usage of dualsense controller. Very technical simulation game. If you like arcade type racing game and have access to a PC ir Xbox, a good alternative is Forza Horizon 5.

Loved the game and the steelbook is amazing. If you are able to find it in stock and are a GT or Sim racer fan I would strongly recommend.

Been playing GT since the first one and it is the one that influenced me in being a car enthusiast. Challenging game, and very glad they brought back things from GT4 which was the best game in the series.

The most recent update ruined it.

Remember when Gran Turismo was all about the joys of racing and car customization? Now, the game is all about forcing you into purchasing in-game currencies with your hard earned real money since the most recent update severely reduced payoff amounts, making it nearly impossible to buy some of the most desirable cars in the game. And there's no way around any of this, since the game is online always you must download the update in order to play. In addition to this, users on the Gran Turismo discussion forum "GTPlanet" have confirmed that the most recent update greatly reduces and in some instances completely eliminates some visual graphics effects such as road debris, tire smoke and tire marks, etc. on both PS4 and PS5 versions of the game. GT7 had the potential to be the best Gran Turismo ever made but the most recent update sends a clear message: the developers just want your money. Please see the attached photo.

Kazunori Yamauchi strikes again. Great game but too much reliance on online, and definetly missing some of the GT4 magic. Its closer than 5 or 6 were, but not quite back to the glory days. Looks stunning, but seeing how the competition is doing these days (Assetto Corsa PC, Forza series, etc) it is difficult to give it 5 stars.

Ever since I’ve played Gran Turismo on the Playstation 2, I’ve been hooked. GT7 was a great combination of all sorts of racing, monstrously building on what the basics of Gran Turismo was. The graphics are immaculate, and the races in game are challenging yet enjoyable while still rewarding with in-game currency. With the ability to race with other real time players is the icing on top, being able to test my skills with fellow peers.

Hands down the best Gran Turismo ever. If you have a PS5, this game has to be at the top of your list for games to buy. The graphics of the game are absolutely insane! The cars, tracks, and everything looks so realistic when playing on a 4K TV with HDR. What are you waiting for?! GO GET THIS GAME!

This is just an evolution of GT that is finally what is supposed to be: a single player game with a campaign. The GT series has lost fans and failed to make new ones while other franchises have evolved. Gran Turismo 6 on the PS4 failed to be anything new or different from previous entries and GT Sport alienated long-time fans by being mostly an online-only game at launch. With GT 7, fans know what they are getting into, and many don't care or have lost interest. This game is a driving simulator that caters to those who just want to improve their driving technique and progress in the game. Visually it looks better than GT Sport looked on a PS4 Pro, but how better can it look. It's like Halo infinite, taken as a sole product, it is impressive. Once you compare an entry that has perfected its genre, how much more can there be? I feel that this game is the evolution of the series going back to what made it good in the first place, and for me that is just not that exciting, but what more can there possibly be? In regard to its price, I think it's way up there and keeping more people from playing it, specially the Ann. Ed. The Steelbook it nice, but it's just for those of us that value such things.

After playing this game for awhile, all I have to say is WOW! I absolutely love it! By far the best racing game out there, and i can never get enough! Anyone who loves cars or racing is going to love this game also. Just make sure all your controllers are charged up BEFORE you play.

This is a must-have if you are a Gran Turismo fan. Although there is some issue with their servers going down randomly, the graphics are really nice. I am disappointed in the fact that if you need to be connected to the internet to enjoy all the features. Even if you are online and their servers go down, you can't even play. Also, you cant sell your cars like in the previous GT games and the micro-transactions are really pricey. This is the case when you want to purchase a vehicle that's available. If you miss the opportunity to buy it, you will have to wait until the next round when it is available, that's if it becomes available again. Overall, the metal case is a cool collectors edition to have. The game is fun and entertaining as well as challenging.

25 years?! Gran Turismo has been a part of my life for almost that entire time and this entry is one of the best. The car culture focus is awesome and there's tons of content with more free additions added all the time.
