compared the included blu ray (which has all the special features) to the 4K disc and there is a significant difference to the two. for starters the 1080p blu ray has a bighter picture but the 4K color's shine a whole lot more. the DTS-HD 5.1 sound is good but you can hear taht this movie was done in the 80's has sound effects sound outdated. overall this classic has never looked better and its a must have for any fan for 80's movie, predating CGI graphics and the PG-13 rating which was created in 1984 after this films release.

This Gremlins 30th editon comes in a cool package.

Looking at this transfer makes me hopeful they will do the same for the gremlins sequel.

This movie takes me back to my childhood and the 4k transfer was done very well.

Audio mix is ok. Best looking version. Not 4K crisp but it’s an older film.

I am using the same review on both Gremlins 1 and 2. minus the typo in the part 2 review. I don't really see leaving a review for these classics. But hey you never know. I am really surprised they have not remade the Gremlin movies. They have remade everything else and than some. I am afraid they might rip it to shreds though. These are classics, and there are a few younger people that know who they are, which was surprising to me. I sat down with my now 5 year old daughter and introduced them to her. She loved them, of course the Gremlins were scary but she couldn't stop laughing at Gizmo. I like 1 more than 2, but 2 is still good. I use the theme as my ringtone.

Definitely stronger than the bluray.com but not an incredible improvement.

Got this movie for my daughter! She loved it! We got it for road trips.

The upgrade in picture and sound for 4k was a treat. I had seen this many times on VHS. I have a 4k Panasonic player. The sound and the enhanced 4k picture made it worth buying again. You know when it was made but the picture enhancements give it a feel that you can enjoy it now. Not like watching some movies that have not aged well. This was good and I have noticed things in this version that I hadn't noticed before. It is very funny. Would recommend to pick it up.

Great classic movie, my kids never saw it so picked up the DVD cheap.

It's a nice looking steelbook of one of my favorite 80s movies of all time. Gremlins is a fun, somewhat family friendly Christmas horror flick. The practical effects are impressive and hold up almost entirely today with Gizmo remaining an iconic creature among other monsters. Very fun movie with a good 4K transfer. Note that the Blu-ray disc is the old disc that has been available since 2009 in the 25th anniversary edition so nothing new there.

Fun family movie and the picture looks great on a large OLED.

Gremlins is a fun movie that is both silly campy horror, scary enough to give your kids imaginative ideas, but obviously so weird you will not traumatized them for life. It has a good message about responsibility. Also Mogwai is so cute even Hasbro made a collectors Furby out of that guy. It's a fun family movie, but if your kids are sensitive wait till they are much older. Spielbergs 80s classic still lives on, and we promise not to feed them after midnight.

This movie is Awesome ! Highly recomended. Especially in 4k

Gizmo is still cute. I am glad to have this 4K steelbook.
