You don't need to play previous entries to follow or enjoy this one. You take missions in a lobby and get sent to a handful of arenas to fight hordes of enemies or giant robots. The main draw is the ability to extensively customize your own Gundam. Customization is expanded from previous titles so there is a lot of freedom to create the Gundam you want. Parts for your Gundam, both functional and decorative, are earned by completing missions.

The story is as good as you want it to be, but the fact that you can build any type of personalized Gunpla you want and the number of model kits that are in the game are great. It’s simple fun and I recommend to anyone who enjoys building Gundam auto kits.

I own it on PC but bought this since it says it's the launch edition and I wanted the poster, only to see that it's the standard edition. I don't mind owning it physically but I'm really hoping they change the name of this listing since it's misleading.

Haven't played the game yet, just thought others might want to know you'll get a standard edition.
