The unit is easy to put together. Nice tight fitting side panels. The unit cools great and seems very accurate. The power draw is low on startup. I am very pleased. I paid more for this instead of a frigidare because I was replacing the frigidare every year! Well worth the money.

I chose this to replace a frigidare. The unit was very well built . The side vanes are way better than frigidare. It runs quietly and uses less energy. Cools great!

I love this air conditioner, best investment I've made this year! My old one, it was about 10 years old, was so noisy I couldn't sleep through the night properly (I use it in my bedroom window). Even the high setting is fairly quiet, and other settings are even more quiet. And the digital controls on this have so many options and variable settings I can really be comfortable ~ and stay that way through the night. The only drawback I ran into was in fitting it in the window frame - my nephew had to cut special wood pieces to fit under it. It is a standard vinyl replacement window. And it had to be placed as far to the left in the window as possible to give clearance for the closet door. I do wish it was a bit smaller and lighter. Perhaps in time someone will figure that out.

very slight rattle to plastic cover.... everything else as quiet as could be expected. Would be nice if the remote's display were lighted for night. The "light" switch on it merely turns off and on the display lights on the actual A/C - which is also nice for sleep....but, I'd like to see the remote control settings!

The best air conditioner I have bought so far, very quiet and efficient. Makes any room cooler and more comfortable and faster than any other air conditioner.

I am a very light sleeper and thanks to this a/c unit I was finally able to sleep the whole night through. Noticeably more quiet than our previous two Frigidaire window units. It was a bit more expensive but totally worth it!

Installation was a bit of a challenge as we have replacement solid core clad windows - no traditional sill, but a little woodworking produced the correct modification pieces. Other than that, which is NOT Haier's fault, the install went very smoothly. When I first powered it up, I was immediately impressed with the lack of sound coming from the unit. It's a supplement cooling unit since my wife likes the house at 75 and I need 71 to sleep comfortably and sleep I do! This AC is so much quieter than the first unit I purchased (Life wasn't Good, just noisy) that it's hard to believe they're both window AC units.

After reading reviews online I decided the Haier 6050 BTU A/C would be perfect for my bedroom. I was lucky to pick it up at your store in Paramus. It was easy to install and works perfect. Thank you Haier and Best Buy!

This A/C works great. When you put it on esave it shut down when it reaches the desire temp. It's quiet too.

This is very heavy. If you go to the gym and you are mamado . You will be fine

It is more quiet however it takes longer to cool a room than my older noisier 6,000 AC. The install was easy but takes a long time to cool a room.

Great service -- arrived in 48 hrs. Nice little a/c unit for a small room. It is quiet -- quieter than most. We have it in a small den/TV room. We run it on low and it is more than efficient. My 73 yr. old husband had no problem installing, however, some may need some help. I researched this item on other sites and Best Buy had the best price and free shipping! Very pleased.
