This model Hamilton Beach coffee maker is a great improvement over the previous models. The previous model had to separate ways to make coffee but only one reservoir. This model has two separate reservoirs and thus uses two different pumps to pump the hot water through the coffee. Makes a great graphic coffee in less than three minutes. Also makes a great cuppa coffee in about a minute and a half. The water reservoir markings are easy to see on both sides of the coffee maker.

I have never owned a k-cup machine. This is an amazing machine. I can have quick cup or a whole lot of coffee. I recommend this item to anyone.

All in all this is a great little product. 12 cup carafe or single cup brewing. My only complaint is that for the single cup you have to add water for each cup. I would have thought it would have used the large reservoir. Other than that no complaints

At first I was lukewarm on this machine after my Keurig. But after about a week I love this. It is so versatile. I can use ground coffee and set it for 6 am and have coffee ready when I wake up. But can quickly use a K-cup when I want. It is great. Easy to use, easy to clean.

We bought this to replace our almost identical Hamilton Beach machine that we had for years and used everyday. This new machine like our previous one is simple to use for both the single cup and your regular full pot. The best thing is it very fairly priced and takes the regular old style filters that can be bought in bulk for dirty cheap just about anywhere. Don't waste your money on any of those new fancy style coffee machines out there. It was the first time my wife actually admitted I was right in 30 years ! By the way, the old Hamilton Beach coffee maker still works fine so we donated it to a friend !

Great machine , has both options when comes to brewing a cup of coffee

Purchased for company coming to town as they are avid morning coffee drinkers. Makes a strong pot of coffee as they desired! I’ve subsequently ised it for single mode tea pods and I agree its a great machine for the cost. Con? carafe and single cup dont share same reservoir.

So, I'm one of those individuals who loves variety and quality products that can meet multiple needs. I grew up in a family culture where efficiency was a top priority so having a coffee maker that can provide either a full pot or a single mug is an absolute joy! I hate keurigs because of how environmentally unfriendly they are so I really love the fact that this coffee maker comes with it's own refillable pod! Easy to use, easy to program, easy to clean and I never have burned coffee!! For those looking for a pretty decent coffee maker that is quiet, functional, and doesn't take up your entire counter then This Is The One! I highly recommend!

This Hamilton Beach Coffee maker was easy to set up. It gives you different options for making coffee depending on how much coffee you wish to brew up. If I'm having company I can brew up a pot, I can brew various cup sizes for single servings. I can use K-pods or regular ground coffee. You can also choose brew strength and set it to start brewing at a specific time. Overall this is a good coffee maker that has a price that won't break the bank.

We now are drinking coffee at home more than going out to Starbucks. The option to do single pods are traditional makes this a good buy. I haven’t done the time programming yet, but has been working great for the past month we had it.

I purchased the "Hamilton Beach - FlexBrew 12-Cup Coffee Maker - Black" to replace my old Hamilton Beach coffee maker. I had my eye on this updated version but waited for it to go on sale. I love this coffee maker. It makes a hot, great tasting cup or pot of coffee. If using the carafe, it automatically shuts off after 2 hours. I like the option of making a full carafe when I have guests, or making a single serve when I just want a cup. It uses Kcups or you can use ground coffee for single serve. I highly recommend this coffee maker.

Works well. I love the option to make a quick single cup when I'm headed out, or a full pot when I've got company. The timer set is also handy.

I was looking for a coffee maker that could multi-function; single serving and a pot. It does just that. However, it does have some limitations, it can only perform one function at a time. Easy to program and operate. When using the K-cup single serve function, you will need to discard the old k-cup and clean out the dispenser or the needle and dispenser will retain residue and your next cup will end up everywhere except inside the cup.

We have had the Hamilton Beach for 4 months and it continues to work perfectly. It makes either a single cup or a full carafe. Our only complaint is that the lettering on the selector switches wears off in a short while. Other than that there are no complaints. The single Brew side uses either single-serve pods or you can use your own ground coffee. The carafe side also makes excellent coffee.

Use your cup, (up to 14 ounces) to add water to make a single serving of your favorite coffee. Or use your favorite grind of coffee and make a pot of coffee. Or she can make a single cup and you can make a pot. How cool is that ! Personally, I do both! You will love this as a replacement for your Keurig and separate coffee pot since it is combined into one device! Excellent buy and a great price!

Love Hamilton Beach coffee makers. I have owned Hamilton Beach for the last three years it works great for big crowds or just for yourself. We went into get the upgraded version because we love it so much.

Out of the box review- aesthetics- beautiful; functionality- excellent. 1. you can. make 12 cups, 1 cup or even 2 cup with this coffee maker use a k cup, so you don't waste coffee. you can program it and it is very very quiet. I love the carafe and the coffee brew taste good. Also has automatic shut off. It costs $99 at the time. This is a good investment. I was looking. at the Keurig Duo ($200). This is an excellent alternative!

I drink at least 8 cups of coffee a day. Had a very expensive Keurig and lost my patience with the carafe not keeping the coffee hot. Returned it and bought this for 1/3 of the price. Turned out to be the Best Buy ever. The coffee stays hot in the pot for a long time. If I just want a cup I have the option for that too! I can’t say enough about how happy I am with this coffee maker.

Love this coffee maker. I had a Hamilton Beach coffee maker that just got replaced with this updated version. The old one is still working, although it's about 3 years old. We remodeled our kitchen and I wanted something newer. It works great and I love being able to use the Keurig side for an additional cup, or for guests when they come if they would rather have a different kind of coffee than what we brewed. It is very stylish and looks great on my counter. It's fast, too, which I know to keep that going it has to be cleaned often, as with any coffee maker . . . in any event, it's a great choice and I did a lot of looking before going back to the Hamilton Beach.
