Customers are saying

Customers are delighted by the FlexBrew 12-Cup Coffee Maker's brewing speed, ease of use, and ability to make both single-serve cups and full carafes. Many appreciate its affordable price and improved design. However, some users find the water reservoir placement inconvenient and the brewing process somewhat noisy. The single-serve function's water reservoir may not always empty completely.

Works great. Easy to use. We love that we can do a whole lot or singles, and more reasonable than other brands. Wish the single side was a little smother when getting the pod in place and punctured

First and foremost, this is the BEST coffeemaker if you’re looking for the option to do a single serve cup of coffee, or a whole pot for when you have guests over. I love the fact that you can use your own coffee grounds in the single serve side and k-cups as well. I’m not a k-cups fan because I like my own coffee grounds and being able to control how much coffee grounds I use. I also don’t like using a whole pot of coffee since I’m the only one drinking it, but the option for when I need a whole pot brewed is a plus. Love this, worth the money if you want the option to put your own coffee grounds into a single serve, use k-cups, and still be able to brew a full pot of coffee.

Works great. Makes a full carafe or a single cup. Can use pods or your own coffee. The writing that identifies various switches comes off after a couple of weeks of use. That's the only drawback so far and we have had the machine for a month.

This is the second one I purchased. The first one taught me what the flaw was in this coffee maker. The piece of metal holding the heating element against the plate has sharp edges and is steel, ( if you don't know, steel and aluminum don't mix well together). The steel cuts through the aluminum and or corrodes it through. That causes the ever popular leak everyone is talking about. As soon as I got my new one I took the bottom off, removed the steel piece and bent the edges over slightly. The took aluma-weld and filled the steel channel up at where it hit the aluminum so it was slightly higher than the steel. I am hoping this one last longer than a year unlike the other one that leaked at 6 months and was repaired by me then leaked again at just under 6 months later. Thus prompting me to throw it out and buy the new one. Yes I'd recommend this if you were willing to do preventative maintenance at time of purchase.

I'm glad this was inexpensive after price-matching and discount certificates! So far, we only used the K-cup side and have yet to use the carafe. The only downside is you can't put more than one or two cups of water in on the K-cup side instead.

If you are tight and want to keep replacing your coffeemaker too often and waste money, thats ridiculous when you can get this bad boy at a great price. So easy to set up and use, practical and easy to read display.

We have owned three of these for the last 5 or so years so expected life with daily use is about 2 years. The first generation models were for the first two and now this newest model. The improvements on this one are very good including a standard "socket" for the coffee pod along with a raised pad to set your cup on. No longer have to stack coffee cup lids to raise the cup so that coffee pouring in doesn't splash around. The original model also required you to push the pod into the socket manually before getting things started and resulted in some pods thrown away due to difficulties doing so. This model just does it all for you. Once again you can make one cup or switch to the pot. The one star deleted is for the noise this thing makes when near the end of the brew cycle. The whole machine rattles for about 15 seconds and it's noticeable. We are not fond of that but love everything else about this machine.

This flex brew coffee maker is exactly what we hoped for. It brews an outstanding pot of coffee, or you can brew a k-cup just as easily. It is all programmable and really easy to learn how to use.

This coffee maker was to replace a Cuisinart coffee maker. The problem with the Cuisinart coffee maker were: a small unreadable display, push button that were small and had intermittent contacts, and a carafe that leaked out the sides and cause dripping everywhere. This Hamilton Beach is everything the other is not. The display is large and readable, the program are large switches, and the carafe only pours out of the spout. It also has a right side brewer for tea or individual pods. It is well worth the price because it is lower than other brands that offer the same product.

We've had this coffee maker for about 2 months now, pretty simple to use and has the ability to make one cup of coffee or the full carafe. Set it up didn't take too long.
