After becoming disgusted with Kuerig brand, we wanted a coffee maker that could use k-cups or brew a full pot as I often bring a thermos to work. This coffee maker has been working strong for us, uses k-cups for single serve or you can use a filter and grounds for brewing a full pot. The water reservoir for the single cup must be filled each use, and has a separate reservoir for brewing the full pot. By far less costly than a Kuerig, and works great!

I had an expensive name brand coffee maker, but did not like it at all. I gave some thought to getting a Kurig... like the idea of one cup at a time, but K-cups coffee is expensive. I accidentally ran across this one at Best Buy. It fits my needs perfectly... makes a small pot in the morning to get the day started and can make an individual cup later if I want or for company. The single serve feature can also be used to make a cup of hot water, tea, etc.

I have seen various reviews, but no troubles yet from our machine. Convenient to have the option of single serve or the carafe. We use both daily. The only flaw we find is filling the chamber which sits under our counter. It needs to be moved to the edge of the counter to fill them. The left chamber holds the most water and is heaviest. This is a little awkward because we are right handed. It seems most folks are right handed so the function could be switched with single serve on the left. It isn't enough of an obstacle to discourage us though.

I had a Keurig (big one) and this one is not as fast as the keurig, but is really good. This one has the big "jar" for when there's more people, its very convenient, it looks and works really good. The down parts is that for the K-cups/ personal serve, you would have to put the exact amount of water on the disposal because it will make all the water unless you click to stop and it takes too long, but the good thing is it comes up to be very hot. If going to decide, I chose this over buying another Keurig, truly recommend.

I liked this coffee maker because you could do both single and entire pots of coffee. It’s a little loud to shut the k-cup side in the morning but other than that it’s been great!

The machine is cost effective, it allows both single and multiple use with any type affordable coffee of your choice. It doesn’t have to be single cup

This is what we needed. Make my cup first and start the pot when I am drinking mine. No one wants me with no coffee. Love the versatility.

Easy to use. You can make 1 cup with a pod or you can make a whole pot. There are two water reservoirs so it is easy to know how much water you have for each.

Highly recommend it...easy to use and easy to clean...but most easy to make coffee very quickly and hot...either to enjoy as a family or by yourself

I wanted the option of being able to use single serve and have a full pot. This brewer fits the bill. My only gripe is that the single serve reservoir is limited.

We had a Keurig that just had the 3 sizes of single-cup brew but my husband wanted one with a carafe so he could fill his thermos and travel mug without having to run the Keurig so many times. We picked this Hamilton Beach coffee maker because my grandma has it and so that my husband can make a pot of coffee to fill his thermos and I could still do my single-cups. He leaves for work at 4:45 in the morning so he loves that he can program it to start brewing just before he wakes up so can just pour it and go.

great machine for convenience and ease of use. the ability to brew a single cup comes in handy and it has taken a variety of different branded pods that i have used.

So far so good. We had to replace the previous Hamilton Beach 2-Way FlexBrew Coffee Maker with this one-& glad we had the 2-year warranty. To date, it’s working fine, coffee is tasty as it should be & the single-cup option works great with no issues, no spillage, etc. As always, keep in mind, do a cycle with vinegar & water of course, for buildup removal. I love how this machine offers the flexibility of making just 1 cup or multiples. It's easy to use, nice looking and compact. It works great!

I have been using a Keurig (single cup only) for a while now and it has been great. however it's not so great when you have company and need to brew more than just a cup. When I saw this it was kind of a no brainer. Being able to brew a pot or a single cup is awesome. This also came with its own reusable single serve pod so I can use my own grounds when desired.
