Love it! After reading dozens of reviews on different websites regarding portable bluetooth speakers, I decided on the Harmon Kardon Portable Speaker although it cost more than I had originally wanted to spend on a portable speaker. I am very pleased that I decided on this speaker. The bluetooth connection pairs effortlesly and works exceptionally well on all of my Apple devices. It charges quickly and holds the charge for many hours. The speaker comes with a nicely designed zippered case, too.

Good bluetooth speaker for price I paid. Loud (what I like the most) with clear highs and mids but only ok lows (not a deal breaker for my taste). Good quality built, very portable with easy and stable connectivity with my iPhone, Apple laptop and Samsung phone. Wish battery life was much longer than only 4 hours it lasts. I would recommend with the limitations described about (lows & battery life).

Great product for the price $89.00 flash sale at BB. Well made. Produces great sound and exceptional volume for its size. Short battery life, maybe 3 hrs or so. This could hinder some if portability is your primary concern. Comes with a nice carrying case.

I got this while on sale for $80 and at that price I would highly recommend it. Many reviews have stated the lack of a bottom end and this is very true. There is hardly any bass coming out of this thing. That being said, it still sounds good. I can turn this little guy on and fill the house with music on just 50% volume and this thing can get loud with no distortion. The battery unfortunately, doesn't seem to last too long maybe about 4 hours or so. So don't forget a charger if you're taking it out somewhere. All in all I think this was a great investment for $80.

I absolutely love this speaker. It sounds great, connects easily to any phone and is super portable. I have two minor complaints though. 1) The lowest volume setting is too loud. Sometimes if I'm in a small room and want a little background noise the lowest setting is still a bit booming. Because it connects to my phone via bluetooth the volume settings on my phone and the speaker are connected. You only have about 12 volume settings. 2) The battery is a little shorter than other devices. I have a shower speaker that lasts months and months. This speaker usually dies after 3-4 hours. I caught this item on a great clearance price and have zero regrets about my purchase but if I was paying full price the concerns above might push me to look for a different device.

The sound quality is great and the price was very good. My Best Buy store didn't have it on display so I had to rely in other reviewers and the great reviews were accurate. Also was easy to set up with my iPhone but for some reason my iPad won't hook up to it. I've tried trouble shooting guides but nothing seems to work. iPad keeps looking for the device.

My expectations coming from something of this size was realistic. Nothing amazing but not total garbage. I was really surprised with the audio that this "one" produced. It has a balanced sound throughout. Low ends may be its weak part but is resolved with proper placement of the unit. Give this speaker a try.

excellent quality with full range of sound. Nice size to carry around for portable music and protective case a bonus. Average 5 hours of use on a charge. We use poolside and everyone impressed with performance. Easy to connect with devices.

I bought this speaker for dance lessons to be held in a very large barn like room. The speaker did it's job. Everyone could hear the music fine. The sound did not dissipate in the room. The speaker is quite powerful and it came with its own case. Bluetooth hookup was easy. Highly recommended. E

I really like the HK1 speaker. It's portable, has fantastic sound quality (much better than my Jam Plus), and looks nice. I appreciate that the speaker comes with a small travel/ protective case and a charging cable WITH wall adapter. The reason I gave this speaker 4 instead of 5 stars is because of its battery life. The battery does last long enough to get through some homework, but don't plan on it lasting an entire day at the beach. I just think that aspect could be better. However, don't let that deter you from this speaker. It is really nice and if you're home, obviously power won't be an issue. If away from easily accessible power, just take a backup power bank to get through the day.

My 12 year old son wanted to upgrade and get a new speaker. His budget was around $100 so the salesman showed us a few speakers in his price range. I was blown away at how great this speaker sounded - even when we turned up the volume. It also came with a very nice padded case. If you're looking for a speaker you'll want to consider this one.

Nice clean, crisp sound, just enough bass. Although they should have placed the connection on the back instead of the side. Well worth the discounted price of $ 99.99 (199.99) retail. Very good metal construction and nice carrying case too.

This speaker rocks for the size and price point and mobility

This HK speaker is a great choice for an easy set up and great sounding bluetooth speaker that's neither too small and weak and too big and expensive. Especially on sale, this is a surprisingly clean and powerful bluetooth speaker with good range and volume. Better than the Beats alternatives by a long shot and beat the Bose options as well.

I was looking for a small and portable speaker that packed a big punch! This Harmon Kardon portable speaker did not disappoint! It's light, portable and connects easily over wifi. Would absolutely recommend!!!

The sound quality is better than what I was expecting. The size is great. Originally I thought the battery life was short, but it has gotten better. Connecting through Bluetooth is very easy and quick.

I came into Best Buy to buy a Bose Bluetooth speaker for my daughter. I was able to compare the sound quality in the store and the Harmon Kardon sounded far superior to the Bose. My daughter is very happy the speaker. The sound quality is excellent and she can get the volume needed for when she has a party.

Great sound, but could use more bass. I like the easy Bluetooth connection.
