I started to buy portable speakers in this size about one and a half year ago...by Teotronics first, Lansing second, JBL third and finally Harman Kardon. I think quality of sound and volume went up this order. I have not try Sony and Beats but I am very happy with HK One and it will stay with me for a long time.

I bought this to replace an IHome Bluetooth speaker that was not up to the task. The Harman Kardon One rocks hard and never sounds like Keith Richards amplifier that he slashed the speaker cone in because he thought that improved the sound.

This one is one of my all time favorites. No the bass is not as boomy as the JBL Charge 2 and I wish it had a charging port BUT this tiny thing is loud. Its not only loud, it's clear and without distortion. This is a perfect indoor speaker - looks as good as it sounds.

Works great for listening to music wirelessly in the car!

Harmon Kardon has a great reputation for making quality stereo equipment and related devices. This Bluetooth speaker is no exception, as it has performed admirably. Regardless where it is placed in our house, the connectivity provides great sound quality from the classical music stored on our computer.

I PURCHASED AS A GIFT AND WHEN WE TRIED IT OUT WERE AMAZED HOW LOUD AND CLEAR THE VOLUME CAN GET. CAN GET LOW ENOUGH FOR A BEDROOM OR LOUD ENOUGH TO FILL AN ENTIRE HOME AREA. ALSO A BEAUTIFUL AND WELL MADE SPEAKER. I ALSO HAVE A BOSE SOUNDLINK AND THIS ONE IS BETTER WITH BETTER BATTERY LIFE AS WELL

This was a great deal for the price. I happened to get it during a flash sale for $100 off. Only minor complaint is that I wish the battery had a longer life. Other than that I am extremely pleased with it.

good sound, much better then most small speakers. You pay for this with some weight and they dont fit well in a back pack or briefcase. If you are going away for a week and want decent speakers these are really nice though if you stick them in the suitcase

After several hours of listening, this is what I found. This speaker lacks only a deeper base like the sony has. However this is less expensive. I have both. I enjoy listening to both but prefer a deeper base. My advice, spend more and get a deeper base.

I had bought 3 of them during Christmas last year. The sound that came out of that little speaker was amazing it didn't matter how loud I turned it up the bass never got broke up the speaker no matter how loud I played it thanks Best Buy. I just bought another one last week or 3 weeks ago thanks

I have purchased many Bluetooth speakers in the last 5 years and this one is by far the best sound quality of any.orher brand I've tried. It's absolutely worth paying a few dollars more to get good sound. The battery keeps a good charge for at least 4 hours and it recharges rather quickly

Sound was good and clear. Moderate volume, not bad for the size. Most annoying feature: didn’t seem to hold a charge for more than 2 hours. And didn’t hold up. Quit working after 20 months.

This is a great bluetooth speaker for traveling. This speaker is lightweight and produces clear, crisp sounds that fill the room without disturbing your neighbors. If you are looking for something that will rattle the floors with bass, look elsewhere.

After receiving a Harman Kardon portable bluetooth speaker as a gift, I've purchased a Beats Pill for comparison sake and given 2 Harman Kardon speakers as gifts myself. The Harman Kardon speaker has a much richer sound, no question. At the sales price, I don't think the value could be beat.

Sound quality isn't quite as good as the Bose Mini Soundlink, but perfect for background noise in my office. The item goes on huge sale often, and the fact that it came with a case (a big extra expense with the Bose) definitely makes this a great deal.

Don't let the small size fool you. This speaker bumps. You get a nice range of the music and enough bass for its small size. Definitely sounds better than other similarly-sized speakers. Great for the backyard BBQ or the bathroom. Plus I got a super deal on this speaker at $50!

I saw this on the deal of the day for $50 so I jumped on it. I've only used it a couple of times but haven't been disappointed yet. The sound is pretty good. I'm not sure I would pay $200 for it but I also don't have a big need for one of these to say it's worth the money to me.
