Especially in recent years. Ok, it's not a Samsung or LG or other top brand, but it's also well over $50 cheaper too. And they're not total garbage either. Sure just like with Westinghouse or TCL there's mixed reviews and opinions on them, but for the most part and especially for the money it's among the best choice out there. Yes if I had had the money at the time I would've gotten a Samsung, but this doesn't leave me with any regrets. Plus it's a bedroom TV, so for me at least, it's not going to get a ton of use. This is an easy recommendation for anyone on a budget.

I was a bit freaked out trying to find the manual on/off button but after a slow, careful scan of the quick start guide I located it. To the Left and slightly back from the power light.

Sometimes when you turn the TV, you're prompted with surveys that are easily skipped but I bought this TV for my grandma and she doesn't like them. Maybe they can be disabled in the options.
