Amazing features for the price; 120hz motion and unique advanced settings. Be sure to set back lighting to about 13 and adjust brightness accordingly. Also set to "Film" for smooth TV and Movies. Hisense is definitely hitting above it's price for a quality TV.

I spent a lot of time researching and debating on this TV versus the higher end Samsung Models (QN90B / S95B). I decided to give this one at 1/2 or 1/3 of the price of the others - and that if I was unhappy, I'd return it and try the Samsung QD OLED and see how it performs. Those next steps are unnecessary. Everything about this TV is incredible. Picture quality on SDR and HDR content, brightness, the mini LEDs being able to turn off completely and prevent any type of blooming or halo effect. Great black levels, incredible color, good menus for customization. The big upgrade over the Samsung is the speaker quality is perfect out of the box - no need for a soundbar. The only thing I feel like I'm missing is the thinness while mounted on a wall. It is something I am sure I will get used to, but 3" vs 1" is a big difference. On the other hand, it allows better speakers and subwoofer, and doesn't require a soundbar. I followed YouTuber's Stop the FOMO picture settings - everything seems very color accurate. Overall very happy with this TV. Bought the 5-year warranty to be safe. May consider the S95B or whatever is available for my downstairs living room setup but this is more than enough for a bedroom.

Fantastic TV! I got this to play games on because it was 120hz, I had no expectations since it was my first Hinsene product, but now I’m officially a fan! The TV has no many features and my favorite is the sound! It’s amazing when you add dolby atmos (I did via my PC) it’s incredible! I would recommend this TV not just to those seeking budget options (which it is) because its a great option for almost everyone.

For the price point, you cannot go wrong. I was specifically looking for a Google TV with HDR and this one got great reviews all around. If you want, you can go in and find tune the picture to your liking for each input. It also works as a 4k monitor with 120hz refresh rate if your video card supports it, which is a great bonus. You just need to make sure you have a compatible HDMI cable.

TV is excellent overall. Very bright in HDR. Sound is excellent, and the subwoofer really packs a punch. Feature set is up there with some of the highest end TV's. Google UI is terrific. Gaming mode and features is top notch. Small downsides are the remote, which isn't bright at all. Some parts of the UI, particularly within the settings can get a bit cumbersome. Overall extremely happy with this TV.

This is a fantastic TV, especially for the price. OLED may be the standard for best picture quality, but it's pretty impressive how good picture quality for a LCD TVs like this can be. The darks are rich and the local dimming works well to make them perfect blacks. Not only is it great for watching movies, but it's great for gaming in its more responsive mode. Overall this is probably the best TV for the money you can get.
I got the TV on sale for $599. Unbelievable price for a 55 inch TV of this quality. I read the reviews and thought they may be inflated but they were not. The quality of the TV is apparent as soon as you turn it on, change some of the default settings for the picture, and then watch something on it. Very clear and very bright. I am well pleased with the purchase of this TV.

Just set it up recently. TV looks great and the sound is also much better than you see on most televisions. I might not even need a sound bar for this. My only complaint is I've not been able to set it so that my appletv remote can turn the TV on and off by itself. I can control the volume but I cannot get the TV to turn on and off. I'd really like to only need one remote. Nothing I've tried has worked though.

Overall, This tv blew me away in terms of value for money! The picture quality is nothing short of amazing for the price, and is comparible to more expensive tv's! The only issues I have had have been with the operating system being sluggish at times, and it sometimes disconnecting from the wifi. Other than that, this is an amazing looking tv and very very bright! Must buy if it's on sale for sure!

This is an excellent tv. The mini LED tech has come a long way. We picked the U8H up to replace our LG EC9300 Oled. I was blown away by how well the local dimming handled black levels and blooming. You’re getting next to Oled black levels. The U8H also has some gaming features and ports for the latest Consoles, 4k 120hz. Oh and the sound quality is great! The U8H has a built in subwoofer that I think handle’s really well in smaller living rooms. Oh and picture quality again is amazing. 1500nits peak brightness for HDR. I think most consumers will be happy with this television. But full transparency if did return it as I really wanted my Oled tech back. We have been used to Oled tech for the last 7 years. We picked up LG B2 on sale for $999. It doesn’t get as bright as the U8H but it’s bright enough for our space. If you can afford it QD-Oled tvs are great and get super bright. Both Sony A95K and Samsung S95B have the new QD-Oled tech. But if most of your watching is at night, superior brightness is not necessary. Hope this review helps you out.

This has been the best TV I’ve purchased so far. I have a Vizio and a Philips in my house also, and this is the best quality in the house. Great for movies or gaming! In dark scenes it’s like parts of the screen turns off completely making scary movies or games more intense. I am now a Hisense fan, great price and quality.

A lot of features for the money compared with much higher priced OLEDs. Definitely clear and adequately bright for an ambient lit room. Adjustments to backlight is a real plus - Filmmaker mode is great for viewing quality content The Sound on this TV is great - Probably won't need a sound bar with it's built larger speaker for low frequencies Check out YOutube videos on Calibrating the settings

Overall an amazing tv. It gets extremely bright in both hdr, Dolby vision, and just regular tv. Since it’s a mini led the black levels look really good, though you do have to tweak some settings to get an even better picture. Colors really pop with this tv and it looks really nice. Now for the speakers I’m not sure since I use a sound bar

I'm using this in my bedroom and it's perfect for that. The blacks get really black, like the power went out. The colors are bright and vibrant. I read reviews about the picture quality, but the built-in subwoofer was a nice surprise. It having Google tv replaces my Google home speaker and Chromecast with Google TV. Plus, it has more storage space.

Purchased this tv from Bestbuy, and the sound is amazing!! We put this in our livingroom, and you would swear we had surround sound. The bass for soft noises is incredible, makes it feel like a movie theatre. Color is beyond beautiful. Picture is crisp and vibrant. Set up was a snap, it was so easy!! I would highly recommend!

Better than TVs that are 3X the price. Great picture, sound is better than a lot of sound bars imo, games look amazing. Has Dolby Vision that’s compatible with Apple TV 4K. Don’t really use the onboard GoogleTV as it’s not as it’s kind of convoluted compared to Apple. Would definitely recommend!

This TV has great black levels and high contrast. Its perfect for living rooms with windows. For the price you really cant beat the peformance. Keep in mind the processor doesnt come close to a high end tv and off center viewing isnt great as you lose a lot of that contrast and brightness.
