Vac is awesome.. sometimes i think a little too powerful. nah it's a very good vac. replaced my dyson animal with this and i wasn't disappointed. The cord is a con. yea it retracts but only to a point and then i'm used to a cord that's about 4 feet longer.Will take some getting used to but i like the product.

Great for vacuuming pet hair that my dog likes to leave around using the pet extender attachment. Of course does the main job well of vacuuming carpets. The extension hose pipe is a single unit that extends but since I am tall it is not quite long enuf. Also wish it came with a small, flat attachment for vacuuming tile like our old vacuum had.

Bought this because it was reasonably priced and well reviewed and because pet hair is my biggest cleaning headache. So far, I have not been impressed. The cord is shorter than I'm used to, so I have to change outlets several times to vacuum larger rooms. The vacuum cleaner itself is heavy and maneuvers poorly on carpet, although it handles quite easily on bare floors. Within two weeks of normal use, it began losing suction and the performance indicator turned from green to red. There were no clogs in the hoses and only minimal dirt on the filter, but once I cleaned everything out, it began performing normally again. The air-powered attachment does a good job of getting pet hair off upholstered furniture and is my favorite feature of this vacuum. As with all bagless vacuums, the fine dust goes everywhere when you empty the dirt chamber.

Nice power for the price, easy to clean and good for pets

Has a cool foot switch to turn the brush on and off, making it easy to switch between carpet and wood floors. The cord roll up system seems like it will break. Attachments are useful. Power cord could have been longer. Bagless canister is large enough and filter works well. Everything except the cord retraction is well done at the price level.

love this. i would buy more and keep for future. carpet just cleaned and this vacuum sucked up lots more dirt. it was amazing. lots of power. highly recommend. outstanding job on dog hair. it delivered what it promised.

Easy to use and has great suctioned. Little on the heavy side

Does the job I need it to do. Picks up dust and dog hair. I have a short haired dog and have no complaints about suction. Cord length is great for my small house. Love the retractable cord, and easy to dump canister. Downside- it is heavier than previous vacuums I've used, just have to use a little extra elbow grease. Overall, very pleased.

The Hoover vac works really well on the pet hair in my house. The attachment are ok. I miss the wide brush for under furniture and wish the accessary hose and power cord was longer. With that said, great suction Hoover.

This upright vacuum meets and exceeds the home requirements for pet hair removal from both carpet and bare floor surfaces. The reference dual suction technology is well stated in the units performance. A time saver is the self winding retractable power cord. Overall this vacuum does an exceptional job.

Got this to replace our previous Hoover. The dust container is not very large and the cord retraction feature isn't placed well when vacuuming because the cord comes off the machine lower to the floor. that said the machine is relatively quiet and light in weight.

picks up the smallest particles. you just have to run the vacuum over the carpet once and its clean. no going back and forth over and over again to get it clean. the attachments worked well on the sofa and the stairs. the vacuum cleaner is lightweight very easy to handle , no pulling or tugging.

Super powerful vacuum! It has an attachment for pet hair that really works great on the cat hair on our furniture. I had my doubts until I used it and now I am a true believer. The only drawback was this model did not come with a dust brush. However, I called Hoover and they sent me one for free. How great is that! I would definitely recommend this model.

I did a lot of research on reviews and whatnot. This is a great vacumn for the price. great on hard floors and for pet hair. beats the dyson i borrowed from a friend. only complaint is i wish the hose was longer like the old school vacs for doing furniture and baseboards and such.

I got this vacuum last year on Black Friday. I had no complaints other then for it being on a heavier side. Suction was great, easy to clean. I found the brush mode (the one that you step on the small lever on the left) makes vacuuming really hard. Then nearly 5 months later it started to kept shutting off and eventually made it impossible to use. I maintained the vacuum, clean the filters, washed it. It had to be taken apart in order to remove debris stuck there, the reason it was shutting off. It works great now but I’m guessing it will happen again. I got it at a great price and if I can get another 2-3 year I will be happy!

This is a great vacuum for the cost. It works well and takes up more dirt than previously used vacuums. There are several attachments that allow for it to be used in different areas that the traditional vacuum cannot reach. The buttons are easy to operate and it appears to be well made and very durable. My one complaint is that the depth settings are not quite as accurate and it is incredibly heavy to push when used on even a low pile floor without being at the highest setting. I do not have high pile carpet but I can imagine it would be very difficult to use on high piled carpet.

Quick, easy, assembly, very intuitive. Does an excellent job. Especially like the cord rewind -- you can pull out as much as you need; and it is long enough for even large rooms; but you can make it short for stairwells, smaller rooms, etc. Very good suction, NOT noisy; yet powerful... Definitely recommend -- a great value for the money.

This is the best vacuum that I have owned in a while. I love the suction capability. The handle is much more comfortable than the handle of my previous vacuum. The canister empties easily for disposing of the dust and debris. We have two pets and I am impressed with how well this vacuum performs.

Works well or hardwoods and tile. Requires more effort to push and pull on carpet. Good suction and gets up lots of pet fur. The cord is retractable which is convenient for storage. However it is a short cord so have to changes electrical outlets frequently when using around the house

I read plenty of reviews before this purchase and I'm happy with it, so the listed cons I read were that it was heavy which is true I guess, although I'm not sure it's only weight, I think the suction it provides makes it seem heavier. I also picked up a rumor that hovers are "belt burners" I can say if you are the type that pays attention to detail you won't have a problem. I did notice when trying to figure out what height to use for carpet, if it is set to low (to close to the carpet) the roller will struggle and obviously you'll burn the belt but I realized to raise it a bit and I thought it worked really well. You just don't want to bury the roller so much that it can't spin (no brainier right?) The pet tool was another complaint that I heard, it was said that it slowed down too easily.. Well it's air powered I found that if you don't press down to hard and make short strokes it works very well. So overall it takes a little getting used to but I like it and have already recommended it to others. And it does pick up cat hair from carpet and furniture very well, the only thing I didn't like was that it didn't come with that hairy brush attachment that you can use on electronics but my old one fits this hose so I'm good to go. I found these reviews helpful when I was looking to buy so I hopes this helps you decide.
