Nice extendable hose and easy to use. Very easy to set up and go. Negative - container fills up fast! Have to empty a lot but I also have three pets.

Posted .Hi 1966maginations, anytime a vacuum overheats it's due to a clog or dirty filter. Here are a few steps you can go through and I believe this will solve your problem. On the dirt cup lid you will see a green window, turn vacuum on if the window changes to red there is a clog or dirty filter in your vacuum. Open dirt cup lid, remove primary foam filter. Rinse and let it air dry for 24 hours If indicator still red after filter is removed there is a clog in the hose. Remove both ends of the hose off vacuum, run a broomstick through the hose to clear any clogs. Hope this helps!

Used for basic household cleaning it really picks up the pet hair which I think that is what is causing the weird sounds at time.
