Yes, I would & did recommend it to a friend

Didn’t work for me, but did for my kid

It turns out that this Chromebook was not compatible with some of the software I needed to use to do that work, so I ended giving it to my son so that he could use it for his schoolwork and to have when we go on trips, etc. It works perfectly for him and his uses. Great battery life, nice screen and pretty decent audio. It’s not going to be the end all Chromebook for a top end user, but this is a solid unit for general use b
