Perfect Compliment for My 1st Grader's Schoolwork
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this for a multitude of reasons, chiefly for its versatility of interaction. This is my daughter's first 'official' computer so, I thought it best to give her a wide variety of ways with which to engage the device. She is well acquainted with the touchscreen, trackpad use, and voice assistant but, the same was not true for the keyboard and mouse. I felt, at the time, this computer would give her a great crash course and I was right. The machine is quick and lively in its operations, it has ample storage space especially with the 100GB for a year free add-on, it's secure from invasive malcontents, and it's lightweight. To top off everything, it has been an excellent at-home compliment for her schoolwork; Her teacher and classmates use Chromebooks and Google Classroom for the vast majority of their lessons. Now if I could only get her to listen when I say to turn the volume down.

Fantastic laptop, awesome deal!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had this for less than a week and love it. The touchscreen is awesome, the sound and picture are great. I can use voice remote to google things. It's really fast, easy to use, the keys are easy to type on and it has plenty of space for everything I need. It was on sale for $219, with a Best Buy $5 certificate and a $100 gift card, I was so happy to purchase this for $114!!!

Great Price And Long Battery Life
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great chromebook with a touch screen. I brought this online with the best price. It also has battery life that can last up to a week. Depending on how long I use it. When charging the battery, it doesn't take long to finish. With this you can download apps.

HP Chromebook 14 review: a decent screen and good keyboard aren't enoughThere's nothing about HP's 2019 Chromebook 14 that's flashy or makes it stand out among the field of inexpensive Chromebooks. It's a hefty, plasticy laptop that, at $329 as reviewed, will appeal to schools and other use cases where the sluggish

Q: QuestionCan the chrome book be used for word processing (writing essays, etc) and make presentations (powerpoint, etc). Does it support microsoft products?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Once you get past the slight learning curve, in my opinion, Google apps are much more user friendly. I had always used Microsoft office until I started working for our local school system who gave us Chromebooks. I was amazed how easy the transition was. I loved them so much that I downloaded the Google apps on my iPhone and use them instead of their default apps. Then I downloaded Chrome and the apps on my old laptop which ran on Microsoft. I love that I can pick up right where I left off at home with laptop when I leave work or at the ballpark watching my sons game on my iPhone. I literally just bought my first Chromebook, this model, today. I am so excited!! You can also download extensions through your Chome store that convert word to docs(googles equivalent), PowerPoint to slides, etc if that is a concern and the reason you want to stick with Microsoft

Q: QuestionUsing this Chromebook, can you edit and save documents offline?
Asked by RW.
- A:Answer Chromebooks can run real apps without an internet connection. Chromebooks have a reputation of being an online-only machine. ... You'll even find tools web developers can use to package their own applications to work with Chrome while the user is offline. Here's how to set it up. 1. Log in to Google Docs in your browser or launch Google Drive from the app menu if it's already installed. 2. Select More from the left-side menu. 3. Select Offline. 4. Click Enable Offline. ... 5. Click Get the App to download the Google Docs Chrome app from the Web store. 6. Select Add To Chrome in the top right.

Q: QuestionHow is the sound volume? I do not like earphones and need good volume.
Asked by Kalbo.
- A:Answer I also wish the volume is better. In a closed space it can sound loud, with other sounds playing, you'll have difficulty hearing. The speakers is on the keyboard, right under the screen. It's a long bar, like a row of letters. I wish there were two on the sides.
