For a beginner, like me, it shows me short tutorials on what I can do, keeps me informed on important and urgent software, hardware, and messages...the list goes on and on. Bought the laptop for my child's 1st year of college. It has handled all the tasks from projects and papers, to communication and presentations, and she has had no complaints. It travels well, keeps a battery charge, and has received a very high level of use. I was happy with the price, she was happy with the style! She's had no problems using the campus interfaces or software through two semesters. Her GPA was a 3.9, thanks to hard work and this laptop. (Your mileage/GPA may vary.)
