Fast, clean, and easy. Exactly what you want for a young student. There are a few other features that are impressive for the price as well. Perfect for somebody looking for a home device that has more of a computer feel than tablet feel.

brought it as a gift for a friend in Nigeria...it was a hit.. loved it and very useful for watching movies and for school work. And it didn't cost the bank. Im glad I was able to help others with a sturdy and useful gift.

No complaints. Sleek, fast, user friendly. Huge fan of chrome books. Upgraded from a smaller asus. Was considering a MacBook but didn’t want to lose the touch screen. This has been perfect for all my online classes since COVID.

As a big company like best buy you should care more about presentation and packaging even though it is an open box, you are best buy you can do better. the 5 stars for the chromebook itself,so far works great for a student.

I haven't had time to use it a whole lot yet but so far I like everything about it. The screen picture is great and super clear for watching movies and the sound is good for movies and music. It's nothing big for music but good enough for a small room, which is all I need.

// This is a review for the newer 2020 model (14c). Bought it as a gift for a student and we're very impressed with the quality and the performance. Sure, it's not perfect, but if you get it with a significant discount (like we did) then it's very hard to beat. Things that _could_ potentially be improved upon would be -- The display brightness. The screen is beautiful and high quality, but if you plan to use it out in the sun all the time, maybe this is a little dim. Perfect for indoor use though. -- The weight. It feels a little heavy, especially if you want to use it in the tablet mode. I assume most people don't use that feature a ton because it's a 14 inch thick device and not the most comfortable thing to hold as a tablet. That being said, it's not overly heavy, it just feels substantial which also adds to the quality perception. TL;DR - If it's on a good sale, stop reading reviews and buy it!

I love it, I wished Best Buy with offer classes on how to use all the features it has! I know they can’t with the pandemic, I’m learning as I go, I love the touch screen feature, I’m retired haven’t used a laptop in 4 years!

My daughter loves it . Easy to use. Loves amazing. Lots of useful features. Everything we wanted in a 2 in one. The price was also right. So this is a no brainer...had to have it. I just wish that I had bought two...

Bought this for my son as a gift and he loves it! Has everything to make this a cool piece of technology for basic home functions with the flexibility of a tablet and touchscreen makes everything faster without need for a mouse. Price was great for all functionality it offers

Just looking at the machine itself, not the OS, it's very well built. It feels like a quality machine, but with that it's a bit heavy. That wouldn't be an issue but the laptop has hard edges which makes it feel even heavier. The laptop is very fast though, and good if you like chrome OS

I purchased 4 of these as gifts to assist the kids with the transition to online studies, and they all work perfectly. They love the fact that they are touch screen and can fold completely backwards to a tablet style also.

Bought this for my daughter for Christmas. It arrived very fast and she loves it. The chromebook is sleek, stylish, and easy to use. She loves spending time on it. I got a great deal on Black Friday too. No complaints!

We are new to Chromebooks but we recently purchased one to use for home use and have been very happy with how quick and intuitive it is. There was a small learning curve but once we got used to the differences in the functions of Chromebook it has been easy to use.

Bought 2 of these on Black Friday sale for 374$ each on two separate transactions due to "limit 1 per person". Gave them to my daughters and they are both happy with the chromebooks for school. Wish I would of bought 2 more.

Still getting used to it. It wakes up fast and has some nice to have features like back lit keyboard and fingerprint security.It is a 2 in one device but mostly use it like a PC. I'm happy with it. Battery life is amazing.

I purchased this laptop to use for school. I love how compact it is and boots up quick. I only wish I would have paid more attention to the keyboard before purchasing, only because I like to have the number pad on the side. Still a great purchase

Fast. Good screen. Back-lit keyboard. Decent value for the money. However, I was unaware of Chromes issues with some hotel wifi...at certain properties, you have to call tech support and give them your MAC address. Total Pain!

My wife was looking for a new computer and were told by a friend that this would be a good option for what we needed. She loves the ability to scroll on the screen with her thumb and can flip for easy tablet use. No issues thus far.

Love it! It was a great price and exactly what I needed! I would encourage everyone to get the tech account and the geek squad come help you set it up! It made it much faster for me and they taught me some great shortcuts!

We were looking for a laptop that wasn't meant for the every day, nitty-gritty work that our business laptop puts up with. Essentially if we have to host an online meeting, take a course, or do any other activities that don't take a ton of processing power but requires the use of a device that enables a large enough workspace (writing, chatting, etc.) the Chromebook packs plenty of punch to do so. Don't think that it can't handle some of the applications you would use your regular laptop for, it could, but when with only one, business-oriented, computer in the home this was the perfect addition. If you explore the Googles you'll find that there are many other applications that can be applied to this machine. One avenue we're exploring is the Linux (beta) that Google has put out to give it a more familiar OS run machine feel.
