This was an impulse buy, I went to the store for a surface pro 3 and ended up buying this as a second monitor for my Mac, now this is a very nice looking display and the image is equally great but it doesn't compare to the original Mac monitor and I'm sure that if this was my only monitor I would rate it at 5 stars but because it's my second and I can see the huge difference I can't do it. But all and all its a great monitor with a lot of cool features and lots of configuration options, the o my cons would be that sometimes as a secondary monitor it doesn't turn on when the Mac comes out of sleep and I have to press the on button and two it doesn't physically adjust up or down if you use the original base included, if you need to be able to move up and down and turn/twist then you need an aftermarket base.

I was looking for a larger monitor and reviewed the various ones online at Best Buy. I found the HP to have some of the best ratings. When reviewing at the store, I found it to have great color and clarity and was a great value.

I upgraded my laptop recently and the new one only had HDMI plugs, so I had to upgrade my monitors at home and office to use dual monitors. I upgraded from my few year old 20" HP monitors (which were still working wonderfully, by the way) to the HP 25" monitor and WOW, what a difference it makes for these tired eyes! I loved this monitor so much, I bought a second one for the home office so I can work with dual monitors at home, too. Love the clarity and how big this monitor is!

I purchased this monitor when it was on sale for $129.99. I have it connected via HDMI to my MacBook Pro and I am very pleased with how it looks with it. I couldn't find any reviews on this monitor being connected to a Mac, so hopefully this helps a few people that were in my position. The picture is very clear and crisp (for the price). Obviously, comparing it right next to my Retina display isn't really a fair assessment however it does meet my needs for an external display. My only complain is the edges of the display. It's almost like the screen edges curl backwards into the display when looking at it from any sort of angle. Another dislike is that it cannot be mounted. Overall, this monitor at sale price has left me very satisfied with my purchase.

I am enjoying an amazing computer and this is the perfect compliment to it. The clarity and resolution is incredible.

I buy a lot of monitors for work, and this is easily the best one I've run across in recent memory. The image quality is superb, even with default settings. The controls are convenient, elegant, and require a minimal amount of steps to make any desired adjustment. The inclusion of all three input types (VGA, DVI-D, HDMI) is a further reason to be pleased with this exceptional monitor.

Looking to upsize screen size and resolution at a good price. This fit the bill.

monitor has very good picture quality and easy to use right from the box. so far the best monitor I have bought.

I got it on sale for $150. I compared to other monitors and honestly this was brighter with a more vibrant looking picture than more expensive monitors. Many monitors are dull but this one the colors pop. The back-lighting is also very good which makes the picture bright. It also has a sleek design. Very pleased.

I was in a hurry to replace a monitor that went out. This monitor was inexpensive and had good specs. I was not disappointed. It has brilliant color. The usable area of the screen is quite large. Even after a 14 hour shift, the screen is easy to see and images show up quite well. I was quite pleased.

This has really high resolution and works great for gaming. Be careful of the hidden touch-buttons though!

I bought this monitor to replace my 4 year old HP monitor that I bought with my custom HP PC. So far, the monitor works perfectly and no dead pixels. It's a nice upgrade from what I had. The old monitor was an LCD and this one is an LED LCD, which if you don't know, they are both LCD, just the new one has an LED backlight. Color is rich, screen is bright, and the size is great. Couldn't ask for better.
