I was pretty sure this cheap little printer was not going to handle the labels an business cards I print on it. But at the price I got it for. It was worth the risk. I am Thrilled with this printer! My labels look professional my cards look great!!! Some times a big surprise comes with a small price tag. Love this little printer

I didn’t want a printer with a fax line, a scanner, and/or a copier, and it didn’t have to have WiFi capabilities. Just a simple basic printer that will print out my family photos, and the occasional sheets of paper. This printer is wonderful. The pictures are high quality, and the printer itself is sleek and semi-portable. Though I wouldn’t label it as a “portable printer”, it is VERY lightweight and doesn’t take up very much space. It doesn’t print very fast, but for my personal usage speed isn’t necessary. If I were a student or using it for work purposes and had to printer multiple sheets of papers very often then this would probably have to go back, lol. It’s also quite quiet. :) FYI: it ONLY comes with a power cord - the cable is NOT INCLUDED and MUST be purchased separately.

Excellent printer: small & compact, attractive, prints well, takes the same ink cartridges as my HP ENVY printer which is convenient. It's a plug-N-play unit with Windows 10: connect it up and the driver & software automatically load. It comes with a CD so you can do this manually if you so desire. HP Smart is an app that installs automatically and allows you to monitor ink levels, make adjustments, change printing preferences, and perform maintenance on the printer. HP Smart automatically incorporated this printer in the app along with my HP ENVY printer. Neat! Surprisingly, this printer comes with no USB cable! ?????

Have always been satisfied with HP printers and (especially) their print cartridges. This one has a couple of minor flaws. It doesn't come with a USB cable, but most people have one around, I would think. My main gripe is with the power cable-- the printer connection is loose and comes off easily. Finally, there is a popup telling you to collect your reward every time you print-- there's probably an easy way to disable it permanently, but I haven't found it yet. Still, a great printer for the price.

While wireless printing is great (and this can be used for wirless printing if hooked up to a router that supports it, of course), many of us just want a simple and inexpensive printer for that occasional document. This excels here. HP printers are built to last, it's highly affordable, and it's ink is cheap to replace as well. It's a good old inkjet like what used to dominate the market. No computer screen or WiFi setup, etc. All those are great, of course, but if you want a simple inkjet for that occasional document you print from your computer and don't need phone/tablet printing etc - this is for you. The money you will save can be used towards cooler tech anyways - because no matter what printer you have, if you print from across the house you still need to go collect the printed pages ;-).

Great for occasional printing, colors are vivid, easy set up. Takes up little space. Would recommend.

This printer is reliable and low cost. I have only used it for basic printing needs and am quite happy with it. I chose this printer because a more expensive printer from Canon gave me problems when not used for long periods of time and had 5 ink cartridges that were expensive and ran out of ink quickly. This printer has only 2 cartridges (color and black) and the cartridges are relatively affordable. I also like that the HP will continue to print in black even if the color cartridge is empty (unlike the Canon that would fail to print if even one of the cartridges was empty). Set up was simple and after 2 months of light use, I have not encountered any problems.

If you are looking for a good simple printer, this is a good choice. Easy to set up and operate, good print quality. Just what I wanted for my needs. Oh and inexpensive too-yeah!

i bought this printer for my 80 year old mom and she loves it. Easy to set up, easy to use and if you want to save money on ink just use the black ink only. That is a great bonus on a fixed income.

Only used it once so far it seems fine. Got such a great price on it for Black Friday and it came with the cartridges! It's lightweight and compact for my small desk.

For the money I spent on this printer I didn't expect too much my daughter at College loves this printer it's small fits perfect in her desk area and it prints very well printer cartridges are also inexpensive

This printer is a real gem at an unbelievably low price. I love this printer!!! Easy to operate and produces a high-quality print. I am impressed with the quiet operation as well. No reason to pay an outrageous price for a more expensive printer when this one does such a great job. Very easy to set up and use within a couple of minutes of unpacking it from the box. I couldn't ask for more.

The size of the printer is just perfect. I have very little room to keep a larger machine. It works like a dream. It is not loud at all. It does its job and eventually will shut down. Would recommend. HP is a very reliable brand.

For simple printing this is the cheapest deal to be had if you don't need wireless printing. You do need a printer cable (purchased separately for about $25) it has a USB 2.0 end and then a 'square-ish' end that will connect to the printer. It comes both with a black and color ink cartridges and make sure to 'push hard till it clicks in' the ink cartridges into the proper slot. As of April 2016 there is at least one software update for the printer and can be done with 'internet connection.' If you connect to the internet for the registration and software update there is no need to use the supplied install disc. The install disc will be needed only if you have no 'internet connection'. For advanced users, beware of HP bloatware.

I have a terrible history with printers. It seems like no matter how much I pay and regardless of he brand, I simply cannot manage to make a printer last more than one year; usually just after the warranty expires, so does the printer.This time, I was shopping price first and foremost. This little HP does what it is supposed to do ... print! It doesn't copy, scan, fax, or wash dishes. If you want something to just print, this is it. It was easy to set-up and use. It's NOT wireless, so be aware before you buy. The ink cartridges are reasonable. If this goes down in one year, I'll still be money ahead.

I really like my HP - DeskJet 1112 Printer - White it is so simple to operate. Also it does not take up much space.

A good printer for students for basic printing needs. No scanning or double sided printing options but it’s a cheap printer with cheap ink. You will need a cable that is not included with this!

This printer is a very simple printer, for individuals who don't print often. The ink runs out fairly quickly, after about 80 full pages of printings. Also this item does NOT include the USB cord which is a little ridiculous. If you don't print everyday, this is great for you. If you do, definitely buy a different.

I bought this printer because it was a very basic one and that's all I needed. It was very simple to install-literally plugged it in and the computer did the rest. I have only had it a couple of weeks, but so far so good. Hope it lasts like my other HP did.
