It took me a while to set up this printer, possibly because I'm not very technical, but once it was done, after downloading the user manual on line, it is great. I love it. Quite quiet. I do recommend joining the instant ink program --saves a lot of $$ as well as not having to go out to purchase more if you run dry. I don't use the fax feature because I don't need it.

My father has had a couple ENVYs over the past decade. He is jealous to see all of the upgrades that have been made to the printer. It works very well & reliably. I can print from any computer in the house, and my phone. I have not used it to print photos, but all of the documents that I have been print have turned out to be very clear. No matter the font used.

First and foremost I hate printers but decided to give it another shot. Setup was extremely simple. I have it set to my WiFi network. I also print from my smart phone and iPad. Again very easy setup. Print quality is excellent. I'm a light user so I haven't had time to experience anything bad. I like the touch screen lcd panel allows you to see ink levels, make copies, and minor editing of photos. Inexpensive ink and if you sign up for hp instant ink it's even less. Overall satisfied with the purchase.

Bought this to replace my Officejet 6310 which was still in working order. Thought new printer might print pictures better than my 10 year old model. This printer prints, scans and faxes and has easy to operate software. Price was very reasonable for this printer (70 dollars off). Also you can sign up for instant ink program and pay for printing by page instead of buying ink cartridges. I signed up and got the first 3 months printing free. After that I pay 2.99 a month for printing and Hp automatically sends me ink when I run low.

It's fast, and it prints great color and B&W pages. It is hooked into our home router, so several devices print to it -- without a glitch! Set-up was quick and easy. I use BBY's replenishment system, which more or less works. I've learned to keep one spare ink cartridge of black and one of color, since it takes about a week for the replenishment cartridge to arrive, after the printer sends its signal to Best Buy. I'd highly recommend this product.

I have purchased many all in one printers over the years for work and this one is definitely one of the best. Super easy to set up and connect. A great value for the money. Quality of printing is very good and cartridges last a good amount of time and I print a good bit. I did sign up for the HP monitoring with a monthly charge to get cartridges as needed but that’s still a mystery as to how it really works which is the only con.

I found this printer Extremely easy to set up. I have never had such a pleasant experience setting up a new printer. This printer is fast and the print quality is remarkable for the price. I have always used Canon printers up until now but I don’t think I could ever go back given how well this HP printer works. I would highly recommend it to anyone. It’s photo printing quality is remarkable. I also absolutely love the HP instant Inc. program. I wish they had come up with this along time ago, it’s seriously saves a ton of money.

This is my second purchase of this printer. I keep one at my mother’s house to use for her affairs, and I bought this one for my house, It is very easy to set up, and prints quickly. I love the double-sided print feature, and that I can scan and email the scan directly from the printer. I use e-fax, and this printer works very well with that service.

I absolutely love my HP 7855 printer. The printer was very easy to set up on my iPhone and MacBook. I have the HP Smart app on my phone and use it exclusively to print photos, documents, etc., scan from my phone directly to contacts, scan from printer, etc. Another nice feature of this app is the category for Printables. You can print cards for holidays, or just in general, print coloring pages, crafts, projects for school, etc.

I was reluctant to switch from Canon which I have always bought to this HP but it came highly recommended by the person helping me, plus it was on sale! it was so easy to set up and use. I have the printer pinned to my task bar so it is simple to open and tell it what I want to do. Also, there is a lot less clicking and whirring than with the Canon so you don't have to wait so long for it to print. I haven't printed any photos so can't comment on that.

Although my overall impression of this over-hyped printer is lukewarm at best, it does have its benefits that are briefly listed below: -Very easy set up, 10 minutes max. -Control and panel display are very useful and easy to maneuver. -Apps are superfluous but fun, especially if you have little ones you need to entertain. -Prints very quickly. -USB and SIM ports are tucked away but accessible, and are covered with a small flap to keep away dust and other particles. The cons are the reasons I’m returning it today, after 2 weeks of use: -my main issue is print quality. I like to use purchased items for a couple of weeks before I decide if they’re keepers. This isn’t. The docs I’ve printed are DULL-at first I thought the paper may have been a factor, but I specifically bought HP printer paper that the salesperson highly recommended for quality document printing, but it didn’t matter. I’ve printed about 20 pages because I also thought the ink needed time to adjust. Still, the letters were dull in both, black and color. -The quality of photos were horrendous. I’ve never had a printer that printed such cheap looking pictures. I printed two 8x10 photos of shots in Ireland. The clouds ended up gray, literally, the mountains looked muddy, the water, almost black. It should have been a dark blue, as shown in the picture I actually took and on my monitor where I printed it from. In addition, there were faint but visible quadratic lines all over the page. This too was printed on HP photo paper, so I’m not sure if that came from the printer or paper. -scans are also light colored once transferred to computer. My other printers didn’t scan so faintly. I could barely see the text. Other reasons for disliking the piece weren’t a big deal, but annoying. Had the machine printed well, I could have handled its quirks: -It’s just loud. -It’s bulky and looks outdated. -Too many adjustments for paper trays. -The structure just feels cheap. The material on son’s toys are far more solid. Again, the quality on regular and paper prints was beyond sub-par. I’ll try a different HP model after returning this one, but if I get the same result I’m going with a different brand. Initially, I was so excited to buy this expensive (for me) thing, so my disappointment is a total. bummer.

this is the second one of these printers I've purchased. First didn't quite make it two years. Continuously flashed error codes and had to be reset, then wouldn't even turn on. This one has performed flawlessly so far, doesn't need resetting, comes out oof sleep mode with a touch. I was reluctant to purchase the same one, but the reviews were good. Hopefully, just got a bad one the first time.

Overall, this is a much better printer than I expected, given its low cost. I would rate it a 5 star except for the touch screen. Apparently it is a heat sensitive touch screen, so if you have cold fingertips, it does not work. On the plus side, it was the easiest printer to install and setup I have ever owned. I also signed up for the automatic "when needed" ink delivery. It is a very convenient feature. The print quality is great, both photos and text. I would definitely buy it again.
