I am not a huge fan of HP but this laptop seemed like a good purchase. I was wrong. I gave it one star because that was as low as I could go. From the initial power up this machine froze up, locked up and moved as slow as you could imagine. I worked with it for five days (with some assistance) and it never improved. HOWEVER, I give a huge vote of five stars to Best Buy because when I brought it back for a refund, within my 14 day period, there was not even the slightest hint of hassle. My money was refunded within a few days and after a few weeks of recovery I bought a different brand of laptop from Best Buy.

I purchased this laptop on 4 jun, n from then I felt that there's some crackling sound from the laptop fan. But I ignored it feeling that it would set by itself and even I had terrific work load during that time. Now I spoke to the bestbuy team and hp for fixing the issue. They informed that I need to send the product to the company to get it fixed and it would take 15 calendar days. I explained about my problems without a laptop but bestbuy team was very rude to and simply ignored my problem. And associate from hp escalated the issue. I'm waiting for a solution

HP's have the worst track record for longevity and this purchase proves this. Hard drive crashed only after 13 months. Stay away from HP Envy.

I am very responsible and keep my expensive electronic items as safe as I can, yet nothing seems to protect this laptop's low quality screen from breaking. The screen opens at the corner and then cracks all the way across until the laptop is unusable. I have purchased two of these laptops in the past 4 years and absolutely will not be bothering to buy another. After the 1-year warranty is up, it goes to hell. Not worth the money. Should have just spend the extra few hundred on a macbook!

For the specs, this computer drags. Our desktop with 4GB of RAM runs triple fast as compared to this pile. Touch screen gimmick isn't for people who actually know how to use a computer.

The fan is loud and the speakers crackle. I can hear a constant high pitch ring coming from it. A brand new computer with no disk drive shouldn't be so noisy with crackling speakers.

This has been a terrible experience. The computer stopped working after one week. I brought it in to be sent out for repair. It sat for 3 days because there was no box to ship it. I brought the original box in and it was sent out finally. It has now been over a week with no update. Apparently it needs a new mother board. So I have no idea if it can be fixed and no one seems to know.

I am not happy I am having a hard time opening the lid . I have missed placed my sales ticket to bring it back I bought it on June 16, 2017

This computer started malfunctioning right away - the screen would blink or shut down randomly. I was afraid to do anything important on it, as I was never sure I would make it far enough along to save, or to trust that the saved item would still be there when I went back to look for it. Fortunately, I was able to return this defective item & exchange it for another one (exact same model) which works excellently!

Do not like this version of Microsoft or Word. Not user friendly. Keep having to call Geek Squad support and very time consuming.

Not liking my purchase very disappointed with the speed of the product. Bought 2. One works great the other not so great

This pc was extremely slow and heavy. It took forever to boot up, so I returned it and bought a HP with the SSD.

I ended up returning this laptop. I found the Dell suited my needs a little better and had better value.

I purchased an HP Envy laptop and within an hour and a half of having it home, it started acting up. Couldn't even shut if off. Took it back and replaced it with the same laptop. I had to return it as well.

DO NOT get this computer if youre expecting a great camera quality , ITS SUCKS WORST computer ever !!!

This was my first and last HP purchase. This is the worst computer I have ever had. It takes at least 5 minutes to download emails, and that’s only if you are able to get the stupid thing to boot up in the first place. I would rather use my old Commodore 64 over this useless piece of garbage. Don’t waste your money on any craptop from HP.

Touch screen does not work properly, after I bought 2 one is working properly

Computer finally performed well after I spent $65 to have Webroot removed. It was nothing but a marketing ploy tracking my searches. It caused it to run SLOW and hang up. Too bad I had to make an out of pocket expense for a brand new device! Black eye for Best Buy and I will tell my story every opportunity I get.

In 30 days after purchasing my charger went out and the store would do nothing about it. I was told this was not covered as it is considered an accessory. When the battery runs down you have to plug in to charge so how is this considered an accessory. Have purchased many items in the past but NEVER AGAIN!
