HP Never again

I've had to use a small razor to pry the button out. Brought it to geek squad today. They took it apart and determined a small plastic piece behind the sensor no longer worked. It's possible I damaged it by carrying the unit around in my carry-on, but I certainly never dropped it. They said it would have to be sent back to HP, would take approx. 2 weeks and that HP would say it was physical damage and not cover the repair. I called HP (India of course), and they insisted that there was no way for this to happen without my using excessive force. Sure enough, they would not cover it. Now I have to leave it on at home and plugged in. Having had nothing but bad experiences with their printers in the past, I long ago vowed never to buy from HP again. But I thought that since this laptop was made by Bang & Olufsen, that it would last. I was very wrong. PS. My last laptop (Toshiba) lasted 7 years until the battery finally wouldn't recharge. I still have it as a back up
