I am a senior who has only used Macs before, grew tired of that game, feared change to Microsoft. Needed computer I could depend on for everything, be able to get help, and could understand . This is just fine. Thanks.

Though I am still learning the ins and outs it meets my expectations. I still have to learn how to send documents to my wireless printer. I think the back light keyboard is great but should be able to adjust the brightness.

I'm almost 70 years old and not very good at operating these electronics. But I bought this new laptop and am having a ball exploring all the programs. This touch technology is amazing. So easy. Learning every day.☺

I have always like HP products and this laptop has exceeded my expectations. It is one of the best purchases I've made in the past few months. I haven't had any problems with the computer. It is very user friendly!!!

Pretty sure this will be my very last HP! I loved it for the 6 weeks that it worked. Now i am out of the country. I need it for work & have to wait for my next visit to the states in 3 weeks. If they don't replace the hard drive & get it shipped back to me in 2 weeks then i won't be able to get it for 3 1/2 to 4 months. The HP "tech support" was more interested in trying to sell me extended warranties than getting the necessary info & letting me end the call. So i spent 45 min paying international rates. If it is fixed & works correctly with no further issues i might change my mind??? I gave it 3 cause i loved it...while it worked.

There is nothing wrong with this cheaper laptop, however I decided to go to faster version after initially purchasing this one, See my review on the I7 version of this same laptop. It basically would be the only difference.

Within the first three days that I purchased this computer, I had to return it three times for a new one. Talk about frustrating! The first time it was dinged up, had a few pixels out and the fan ran super loud. I just couldn't justify accepting it like that when paying $800+. So, they kindly exchanged it for me. Then the next day, the touch screen went bonkers and rendered the computer unusable! Geek squad later informed me that this is typical of this product, and suggested switching to an Asus. Yet again I had the computer swapped out. This computer came with a broken pixel and the fan still runs really loudly. :/

I visited Best Buy just needing a PC laptop but was persuaded by the sales rep to spend a little bit more for the tablet capabilities and overall build quality. Several months in it seems to be money well spent.

I wish I could've had a case for this laptop. It didn't offer a case option, even with HP. Ended up breaking the clasp that allows it to fold. So be very careful.

This is my first HP, I always had Toshibas with a DVD/CD reader. I am pleased with the screen. I do have a HP external drive and it works very well using DVD's. It was an open box purchase that saved me $170.00

I am happy with my purchase, However, I don't think I would buy another touch screen computer if I have a choice. This was my first experience at Best Buy and I will be back to purchase more items in the future.

I was in the store to see if my old lap top could be fixed but it couldn't so that meant I was in the market for a new one, looked around for a while then I found one and the rest is history...

Good solid feel and is quiet. Not that light, but works great and the screen is nice and sharp. We had one small problem with audio drivers updating; but HP online support was great and fixed the issue very fast.

I bought this laptop on sale so the price was great. Its easy to set up and the screen looks fantastic. However the battery seems to die pretty quickly well before the 10hrs. Other than that its a great computer.

I love the illuminated keyboard. This Laptop is just the right size and has many great features not found on others. The 12 gigs of RAM and the 1 TB hard drive is a plus! I recommend this PC wholeheartedly!

Replaced my wife's laptop with this hp & she is really happy with the versatility of this laptop...uses mostly for email, games, & surfing her favorite shopping sites!?!....great product & would recommend

There is a known issue with "Ghost Touches" when using the touchscreen. There are corrections on the HP support pages. This however didn't work for me, I have disabled the screen to use as a standard Laptop.

This HP Envy laptop with 12 GB ram and 1TB hard drive is a good performer. The aluminum case always seems to stay cool and is much more attractive than a plastic case. I'm very satisfied with this HP.

Looking for a lap top that was able to do what I need and ended up with one that does more than expected. My son bought one just like mine and we did not know it until we talked about our new laptops.
