So i've just purchased this printer and I am still evaluating it, but so far, mostly good. I'm using it in a home office setup AirPrint connected to a bunch of Mac computers (2 desktops and 3 laptops). The box it was shipped in was rock solid and the printer was well protected, so no issues getting it shipped. The setup could not have been easier - HP has been doing this for years, so plug and play is pretty much plug and play. Paper capacity is good, but for the life of me I can't understand why the paper tray is not a few mm taller to handle an entire ream of paper (maybe my paper reams are too thick?). Print quality is sharp, colors are vibrant. Printer is a little noisy when it gets chugging. My only complaint is the warm up time from waking. The first print of the day always seems to hang and hang (minutes) - the computer says the print is complete and I am still waiting for the chugging to start. Just when I'm about to give up, out comes the print. All subsequent prints come out quickly. Not sure what it is doing from wakeup. The printer is supposed to have a feature where you add a memory stick in the back - I've not done that yet. Perhaps if I do it will speed up the first print of the day? Anyway, so far I am liking my new color laser printer from HP. Overall I am happy with the build quality, fit and finish, print quality, and so far the ink consumption has been sipping rather than guzzling.

The HP Laserjet Pro M452dw is such a departure from the LaserJet MFP M477fdw that it's hard to believe that they have virtually the same print engine (they use the same toner). You can read my review of the all-in-one/MFP unit (spoiler alert, it is craptastic), but enough about that. Let's talk about the HP Laserjet Pro M452dw. Printouts come out fast with tremendous detail. For a single function device, it does that one thing and it does it perfectly. Is there anything else I could really ask for? Works great with AirPrint, Mac OS X, Windows 10. You can print on the Mac without any additional drivers using AirPrint, or you can install HP's half-decently integrated drivers for additional options. PDFs print fine unlike its all-in-one counterpart. I am much happier and saner having ditched the M477fdw for the M452dw and adding a Fujitsu SnapScan ix500 to my small office.

AirPrint capability is great. Dual sided printing works great. Very pleased

It's extremely fast and the color is consistent. I see what people mean with the color being different than what shows on the computer but it only seems to be with Microsoft colors when you print from the Internet it is the same color as intended or displayed.

HP is the standard for my company. This was the next model in line with what I had. Greatly improved. Very fast to print and quiet. The Ink is still too expensive. I do wish they would downsize this even more. Takes up a lot of room on desk.

I did a lot of research trying to find a printer to accommodate wireless, connected and device printing - this is the printer for all of that. Installation was a few minutes. The printer readily found my network and connected - all my home computers can print to it wirelessly and I can print from my work laptop via a USB cable. I bought HP Glossy paper - the prints are near photo quality. Print times - even from sleep mode are very fast.

2 years & happy! This HP Laserjet Pro m452w is best printer I’ve had. I’m not tech smart. I know the basics(most of the time) & I DO read directions. 1 hr after opening box & I was printing paperwork that’d backed up b/c inkjet died. It was connected to my Iphone, IPad, desktop, laptop, & Chromebook. As an office mgr, it does what I need. I haven’t turned it off since I started using it. It’s heavy, most laser printers are. I had to get my husband to lift it b/c I’m short & couldn’t lift high enough to put on top of my 4drawer horizontal file cabinet. If you need small//lightweight, prob want to look @ specs on weight/size. Fit depth of my file cabinet as if they’re made for each other. This printer sleeps when it’s not being used & wakes up in about 15-20 secs when you start using it. I use this printer mostly for business paperwork. I’ve only printed pics our customers send showing svcs needed & then we take pics afterwords & print those too. These are only printed on reg, min 20lb office paper. The pics show clear detail & color is great. Also, while printing, your papers don’t fall. They stack neatly, face down until you need them. Has a sturdy paper drawer & holds a good amt of paper. Touch screen is user friendly & preferences are easily set. This model comes w/ FULL SIZE toner cartridges. No lil starter cartridges! Lastly, I print everything & I’m still using the originals. Color is still over half full. The black’s been telling me “low” for mths. I bought new one as soon as it said getting low & still haven’t replaced b/c print hasn’t got lighter yet. So, over 2yrs & still printing & same toner!

Printer has excellent quality. slow for the first page, but then ok. Note. if you run out of paper, the printer does not hold the job, and you will need to restart where you left off.

We bought this printer to back-up the main color copier at the office and to allow our office manager quick and or private printing. It handles the various papers and card stocks with ease. I would recommend it.

Great wireless 2 sided color laser printer. While not a true photo printer it prints really good photos and great graphics. Very good app support for Android, don’t know about Apple. Being able to stick it in another room and be able to access it from anywhere in the house and from all my devices is great. Very happy with it.

Setup was easy once connected to secured wifi. Really nice to instantly print from iPhone or iPad without having to forward the document to another device or email account.

Pretty good print quality for the price. Toner is expensive, but that is for all printers. Used a solid ink printer (Xerox) for many years, but happy with the switch to this printer. The wireless feature is also very handy to print from any device (computer, tablet, phone etc...)

This is a great printer = quality printing, easy to install and setup. One thing sets this printer apart from others is the ease of replacing toner cartridges.

I have had several HP printers over the years and have always been satisfied. This latest is no exception. It has a great 3” touch control panel. It has just about every feature in a single function printer you could need. The entire family easily connected with our various devices and can now print web pages or pictures whenever we need them. While some others thought it was not great in the performance area, I found it to be quick and efficient for an at home printer. The inks are a little expensive, but not enough for this reviewer to give it a poor rating.

What's to say, it is an HP printer, known for their quality products. I plugged it in, connected to the network and started printing. We have Windows and Mac PCs on the network and they saw the printer and were able to print as soon as the printer was connected. This printer is great because it has full cartridges rather than starter ones, so the slightly more expensive dw model was worth it.

Ordered two of these for the office and they work great. Easy setup and the images/text look nice.
