So far this has been rock steady, I am not pushing it but the computer has done everything I have asked. Played a few simple games like Diablo III and Eve Online and the frame rate is perfect but for the most part I use this as my couch browser and watch videos and movies. For the price and from HP I would buy it again and recommend it to others.

As a casual gamer, I was looking for a good gaming laptop under $1,000. This laptop was definitely a great deal. The hardware that it offers for it's price makes it a good bargain. Games such as Overwatch run very smoothly at 60-70 fps. The laptop itself stays relatively cool, with the GPU temperature around 55-65 degrees Celsius which beats out my old laptop which would go into the 80s. Fan is kinda loud but that's expected when you're playing a graphics-intensive game. The laptop itself only gets a little warm on the right side towards the directional and right shift keys. Left side stays very cool. I was someone who was very hesitant on buying a new gaming laptop but I definitely this this was worth it. Solid keyboard but keep in mind that the backlit LED keyboard is red only and you can only toggle on and off, not change between different illumination intensities like in other laptops. Pros: Graphics, RAM, SSD and HDD hybrid, slim laptop, light-weight Cons: Touch pad is slightly annoying to use. The clicking is sometimes finicky but I use a mouse so it doesn't bother me.

I bought this laptop for my son to use for school and gaming. He loves it! It's fast, packs plenty of power for his needs, and looks very cool (according to him). Only complaint would be that the keyboard does not light up and we were under the impression that it did when checking it out at the store.

I bought this to be able to do online school. I needed something fast with lots of memory. This machine has done amazing! I've never had a problem with it slowing down or running out of memory! My hubby even installed some Blizzard games on it and it still runs as good as new.

So far I love my Hp - Omen 15.6 Laptop. It is very fast, and switching from Windows 7 to Windows 10 has been very easy! My 20 yr old son is a gamer, and has used this computer for some of his computer games like WOW and Hearthstone, and has no complaints. This was a great choice!!

My wife was complaining about her laptop being out-dated, slow, and cumbersome. "I want fast, light-weight, sexy, with lots of storage"!, she says. The price was good and lets just say, she had a good Christmas; every day she uses it, it's christmas all over again.

Absolutely love this product. Great speed and delivery. Capable of downloading other games while playing another one without lag or dropped frames *although Internet speed is a factor*. Love the display and light up keyboard!

I love this computer, it's super fast and my storage capacity is amazing for games and music. Uploading storage from my phone is also awesome, do too, I have pictures from 2008. I recommend anyone buying this laptoo

I've been using it for almost two months now and I can honestly say money well spent! For the price is an amazing machine for those of us who have to live on a budget. Tha battery life is incredible, Almost lasted a whole 8 hour shift at work. Great graphics card!!! Been using it for rendering softwares and its perfect.

I love this machine, I have been playing World of Warcraft for 12 years and finally was able to turn the graphics all the way up. No lag during gameplay, boots up superfast well worth the money.

This computer was purchases to replace an aging desktop. I wanted a machine that could "go on the road" with me, and still allow me to do everything I do while at home. Of course, a budget was involved. This HP Omen met all the requirements I had, including price. Once I got it home, the setup was nice and easy (much easier than some other recent computer purchases). Build quality appears to be excellent, however, since I have only had it for a day I cannot comment on the computer's overall quality. The only negative comment I have (and it is a minor one), is the dark red lettering/numbering for the black keyboard. With that combination, a backlit keyboard would be nice.

The only thing I can say about this laptop is that it is well worth the price . Due to my gaming and it staying plugged in, I have had to replace the battery and my fan.

Great gaming system at a reasonable price. The 128GB SSD and 1TB 7200RPM drive area great for storing programs and data. Absolutely no impact to the system while accessing the hard disks

For the price is a good laptop it runs smooth and everything .. I definately would recomend it .. Fast and powerful. It boots up in 8 seconds

I use this everyday at work and love the speed it runs at with multiple windows and programs running at once and the speed and graphics when I'm home relaxing playing some games on steam

It does a decent job of loading and running my games. It is a gaming laptop, but in the mid lower range. It does what it says on the tin - can't complain.

When I walked into Best Buy I had no intention of buying a gaming laptop but I was looking for SSD. Selection was slim so I purchased the HP Omen. Works fine for what I need

Bought for a teenager who's in college. He loves it so far. I think he will probably play more games than do college work with it. Very sollid and fast little laptop.

I'm a photographer and gamer—this allows me to edit photos quickly as well as play games when I'm out of town. The SSD is on the small side, but it does its job and the 1TB HDD is great for storage. My only gripe is that the laptop's casing scratches VERY EASILY. I made the mistake of just putting it in my case along with a bag of pencils and some books. A pen fell out somehow and left a few ugly scratches, but that was on me. Either way, buy a sleeve for it immediately if aesthetic is your thing. I'm sad that mine got scratched so quckly.

I love this computer. I'm not a gamer, but wanted a gaming computer for speed. I figured if it was fast enough for games, it would be fast enough for me. It is super fast. The color and clarity are excellent. Although it is light and thin, this computer has a solid quality feel to it. I love the backlit keyboard. The only slight con is that when the keyboard back light is off, it is difficult to see the characters on the keys since it is red on black. Easy fix... Keep the back light on. I would definitely recommend this computer.
