Best portability, excellent sound, display quality is amazing ,very fast and computer 7 gen of I7 mean the latest outside, love the design, sound of the fan is smooth soft you it's not going to bother you as the Lenovo sound of the Yoga 910 I did lot research before this purchase and this is the best ultra book so far because the only comparable is the xps and it's too expensive and it's not convertible I paid 1040 on sale after black friday.but regular price is 1159, HP need to develop a 4k model but this 7 gen I7 because the 4k is only 6 gen, so far I do recomend

Hp - Spectre X360 2-in-1 13.3 Touch-screen Laptop - Intel Core I7 - 8gb Memory - 256gb Solid State Drive This is model 13-w013dx. As with the other Spectre models, I expect this one to be optionally offered with more RAM and/or a bigger SSD, or even with the lower powered Core i5. The CPU in mine is the i7 7500u (Kaby Lake or 7th generation) running 2.9 Mhz to 3.5 Mhz in turbo or burst mode. It has an integrated HD 620 GPU (graphics processor), which provides plenty of graphical power for everything but demanding graphics work. I haven’t gamed with it as yet, but it will handle lower to medium range games. More than that, you would need a discrete or dedicated GPU (think powerful graphics card plugged into a desktop PC) rather than the graphics capability built into the computer’s motherboard as is the case with integrated GPU’s. This X360 is one beautiful laptop. The upper and lower case are each crafted out of one-piece, solid aluminum in a matte silver finish. Since the lid will open 360 degrees (from closed position until the back of the screen touches the bottom of the keyboard case in the full open position), the hinges must be strong. These hinges are strong and hold whatever position you place the X360 (laptop, tent, presentation, tablet). The hinges are enclosed to keep out debris and to maintain that svelte look the rest of this sleek laptop has. According to a digital cooking scale, the Spectre X360 weighs 2 lb 11 oz (2.69 lbs). Reportedly, the included HP power brick will charge the X360’s 58027 mWH LION battery to 90% in 90 minutes. The charger has a USB-C plug that goes in one of the X360’s USB-C ports to charge it. I haven’t run a battery charge test, but I had the X360 on a little before noon until 8:30 PM, and I had 30% battery charge left. My use was a mix of light and moderate. I took notes in OneNote with other applications running, had multiple tabs open in Chrome while browsing quite a bit, installed software, set up email and a bunch of other things thrown in as well as letting it sleep while I occasionally tended to some other things for short times. My feeling is that if used in an office environment, the battery could go 7 or 8 hours or more. Turning on the X360 is as simple as bumping the power switch. I measured a 5 second lapse between hitting the power switch to the lock screen popping up. The 13.3” screen is IPS (it looks good from all angles) 1080p HD with good color and clarity, and the 4mm wide bezels at each side are quite narrow, which allows more screen space to use. It accepts touch or pen input since it has an active digitizer screen. HP has an active pen that must be purchased separately. I’ve read that Dell has an active pen that works well on the HP screen. The active digitizer adds value as you can input with the pen instead of the track pad or mouse as well as write/draw in various applications including Windows Ink Workspace. At this time, I don’t have an active pen so I haven’t tried it out. The X360 has an infrared face cam so after starting, Windows Hello greets you and signing you in through facial recognition instead of having to use a password or PIN. It works very well. The keyboard is spacious with plenty of space between keys and good, quiet key travel. Back lighting is available through a keyboard switch. The keyboard is recessed so the screen doesn’t compress the keys when the lid’s closed. The track pad is glass and handles gestures, bumps and clicks with ease. It is 4 ¾” x 2 3/8” (12mm x 6mm) so it’s roomy yet not too big so that you swipe it or hit it while typing. It responded to my input without hiccup yet wasn’t in the way. There are Bang & Olufsen quad speakers located on the keyboard case between the keys and the screen and on the bottom of the keyboard case closest to you if in laptop mode. Sound is good, and there’s plenty of volume if needed. It has the latest BT and dual-band AC Wi-Fi. My connectivity has been flawless. On the left side of the keyboard case from the rear you have a USB 3.1 powered port then a headphone port then the cooling exhaust vent and finally the power switch that is lighted, if the power is on. On the right side of the keyboard case from the rear you have two USB-C/Thunderbolt 3 ports and then a rocker switch for the sound volume. There are no other ports. At first, I was disappointed when I didn’t find an SD Card reader or HDMI or DP ports for video out. Then I noticed the small lightning bolt icons beside both USB-C ports! I confirmed with some written material accompanying the X360 that both USB-C ports also include Thunderbolt 3 capability!! You can run many peripheral devices (monitors, keyboards, mice, external hard drives, speakers, printers, scanners and so on) from either the USB 3.1 port or the USB-C ports alone with adapters, if needed. They provide transmission speed of 10 Gbps while providing simultaneous power (the USB 3.1 port has the older USB connector you’ve seen on many USB items down through the years, only 3.1 is way faster than 3.0 or 2.0 – the USB-C connector, which are 2nd generation, are just as fast USB 3.1, but they have the new standard connector that is one forth the size of the old USB connector, and it doesn’t matter which way you plug it in the port). To any of these you can use adapters for monitors and USB cables for most of the rest; or, you can hook up a USB 3 dock to your USB port and use the various type ports on the dock to plug in peripherals such as I described above. However, if you plug in a Thunderbolt 3 plug to either of the USB-C/Thunderbolt 3 ports, you will transmit both power and data, but data (audio, video or whatever) will be four times faster – 40 Gbps! You can use a powered Thunderbolt 3 dock plugged into one of your USB-C/Thunderbolt 3 ports, and you’ll be charging your X360 as well as running all the different peripherals you’ve plugged into the Thunderbolt 3 dock. In other words, you can run any peripheral you want from the X360. For instance, with Thunderbolt 3, you can run two 4k monitors off one Thunderbolt 3 port! Basically, you can outfit all the peripherals you can use from a Thunderbolt 3 dock with just one small cable back to your X360 for power and data. If you need to take your X360 with you, just unplug one cable and you’re good. They make external discrete (dedicated) Thunderbolt 3 GPU’s. I haven’t confirmed this, but I can’t help but think that I can possibly run a screaming graphics setup through an external Thunderbolt 3 GPU to my external monitor to play any game on the planet with my X360 – sounds good to me, and I’ll be finding out in the near future!

    Not worth the money

I've had this laptop for a while. It looks chic, has great battery life, reasonably good sound, good keyboard and screen for working long hours. So, why am I giving it 2 stars? The software drivers let this product down. My laptop crashes with a blue screen once every 2 hours after every windows update. I contacted HP support and was told to factory reset it. I don't have time to do that. The laptop often can't even detect if a headphone has been plugged in. If you don't install a lot of custom software on the laptop and are buying it for light activity, go along. You won't find as many features in another laptop at the same price point. If you are planning to actually work with it, buy a different laptop. I wish I could return mine and get the money back.

This computer is very light weight and easy to use. I love that it has a USB port on such a slim unit. The case it comes with is an added bonus and makes a great mouse pad when you are travelling. The battery seems to last a long time as well.

I've had this for over a month now and I love it. It's slim and light weight, I barely notice it in my bag. Everything is quick and snappy. The 2-in-1 feature comes in handy for me at work. The screen looks and feels great to the touch as well.

This laptop is perfect for carrying around and working remotely. It's light, easy to carry, and perfect to store in a medium-sized purse or bag. The option to switch to tablet mode is helpful when watching movies or Netflix, or if I need to mark up a webpage with a stylus. Speakers are well balanced and works well for watching TV or movies. Overall, I really recommend this product for anyone who is looking for a laptop that travels well and is good for general note taking, surfing the web, light photo editing, and watching media.

This has been a great little laptop with solid performance. I love the form factor of this laptop. The metal casing makes it durable and attractive. After 2 years of use, the battery is still in excellent shape without any traces of memory forming or fade. It can run a little hot when pushed for extended periods of time, but that is to be expected with the chipset and form factor. I'm not a huge touchscreen fan, but it is nice to have when using tablet mode. Windows is a little clunky in tablet mode, so I usually just use it as a laptop.

I have been amazed by the great quality and value of this laptop. It is beautifully built and comes loaded with a great suite of software applications that also make it easy to maintain (i.e. the HP Support Assistant help you tackle all those settings that will allow you to keep your machine running smoothly). Another thing is that so far the battery life has been great, the laptop is light, and the machine just runs quickly and smoothly. Yes, I know, this review is not very technical, but I guess the point of it is to say that so far I am very pleased by amazing quality and value of this laptop.

This laptop is amazing. It's really fast, and super light as well. I'm not a fan of Windows 10 because it just seems like a bunch of clutter, but it doesn't seem to get in the way as much with this laptop. It's easy to use, and I'm satisfied with my purchase. My laptop does have a few glitches, however. The mouse pad makes a clicking sound whenever you touch it, which is a bit annoying. I don't usually use the pad however, as I have a wireless mouse. I also found a little chip on the bottom of the |\ key button, but it's minimal and doesn't bother me very much. Minor complaints.

I bought this last year. I was looking for a thin laptop. Pro: I like the look and the screen is nice and bright Con: My cursor is very light and has a tendency to move to other parts of the screen without me actually moving it. The spacebar is WAY WAY WAY too loud and thunks. The rest of the keyboard is nice and has a nice feel, but again, the spacebar may force me to sell the laptop. Most of all - if you read the online reviews and write-ups, apparently you get the pen with it. I did not receive a pen with it. Annoyed.

I purchased this laptop in anticipation of completing my dissertation soon and my other laptop was about 3 years old and already slowing down a lot. I think this laptop is the best one I've ever owned or used. I've had it over a year and it is still in perfect shape. I use it often and it is still very fast and the battery still lasts a long time. Even the IT guys at my job said it was nice - they said a laptop like this can put MacBooks out of business.

Perfect for what we wanted. We were looking for a small slim two in one system that had the power we needed but not overspend. The case his strong but lightweight, its very thin and can slip into a small bag or portfolio case. The solid-state drive makes it so much faster than our old computer. It handles our photo software (Photoshop Elements) really well. I think this computer iwill be useful for many years to come. Our previous experience with HP laptops was very good also.

It's a sleek machine that will serve you well. Fast as all get-out, but not without the seldom hiccup that requires a reboot. I guess that's the price of living on the "bleeding edge", and I'm willing to pay that price. Wish it had a second USB 3 port, but that's a minor gripe. Just buy an inexpensive add-on cable to one of the USB-C ports if you need that. Very happy with this device after 1 month of use.

Very pleased with the performance and durability of the Hp - Spectre X360 2-in-1 13.3 Touch-screen Laptop - Intel Core I7 - 8gb Memory - 256gb Solid State Drive purchased 3 months ago.
