Customers are delighted by the Spectre x360's lightweight design, long battery life, and responsive keyboard. Many appreciate its portability and compact size, finding it ideal for travel and everyday use. Fast, lightweight, sleek, complete. I needed a PC for my business and this is perfect. The thunderbolt ports are great and the option to have 1 classic USB port is great. I didn't think I would use the touchscreen so much, but it's really responsive and easy to use. Rivals my MacBook Air. Great job HP and the price at Best Buy couldn't be beat.

I had the 2015 version of the Spectre x360 and loved it. The 2016 version is a great refinement of the original. Lighter weight, faster processor, much longer battery life, etc.. the only feel negative I see is they removed stylus support. Even if I didn't use it much, it was nice to have.

very nice looking, charming looks works very well and very fast the only bad thing is the battery, you turn it off and you lose 30% or so of what the battery has in 10 hours and that's when the computer is completely off, I call customer service and they worked on it but it did not improve the battery life, I returned it but it is a shame as it is such a good product if it was not for this problem.

Will update as time goes on. First impressions: I like it! Super thin and light, great deal on clearance. Very fast and the keyboard is great. My only real complaint so far, is that you cannot upgrade the RAM after the fact. It is hard mounted to the MOBO. So if you want the higher RAM you'll need to buy the next model up. Also, occasionally windows hello struggles to turn on the camera, so it takes a while. Long enough that you dont bother using it. Highly recommend the 7th gen i7 with the Intel 620 graphics. It performs better in benchmarks than the Amd R7 dedicated in certain tests. In the long run, the dedicated card is always better for gaming, but this works great for small scale or older games. Its also much more energy efficient.

This computer is light-weight, fast and I have not had any problems with it. I love the software interface and the speed. I especially love the facial recognition instead of having to put in a password each time I go on the computer. Another great HP product.

Summary: Bottom line, if you absolutely need a 2 in 1 convertible with long battery life and have no need to take notes or draw, and not minding a heavier tablet, then this is a decent choice. If not, then you're better off buying a similarly priced HP Spectre 13.3 or the Surface. Good: Battery can last for hours! Solid aluminium build a standard USB port in addition to 2 thunderbolt ports. Less dongles to worry about. Bad: No pen support, unlike previous models Can get really hot Touch pad and keys are stiff and clicky A bit heavy for the size Sometimes touch functions stops working when switching between tablet and regular mode This laptop isn't bad, but it's nothing that stands above the rest either. It can handle average daily tasks without a porblem, but it's no power house and can get really hot when doing intensive tasks. Doing updates can heat it up and the fans will start going. I tried playing Civilization 5 in tablet mode, and it got too warm to hold. Using it purely as a tablet can get uncomfortable from the heat and weight. This thing is heavier than it looks. One of the best feature, and the saving grace from being 3 stars, is the battery life. It lasts for hours! I've had it on for 3 hours and I still have 60% left. The screen is nice and on par with what you would expect from today's display. Viewing angles are great, but color seems a bit on the warm side. Switching to tablet mode is smooth, with some occasional hiccups. A few times the touch feature just stopped working or the keyboard will not work when switching back to normal mode, but closing and opening it back up will fix it. Touch features are responsive and accurate. The speakers varies in performance. They're geared more towards music, and listening to Amazon music produced satisfying results for such small speakers. Watching Netflix resulted in less filling sounds but are still acceptable. However, watching youtube will make you want to turn it way down. It sounds hollow and echoes and at higher volumes will start to crackle. My biggest gripe about this laptop is the lack of active pen support that last year models had. Being a digital artist and after seeing the commercial with the set designer drawing on an HP laptop, I was hoping to be able to do so with this tablet. Too bad newer models of the x360 line no longer have pen support. HP have many Spectre x360 models, but they leave you to find out which model have pen support. x360 13 model numbers starting with 40 or sx still does.

Love that I have options of laptop or tablet. Wish I could separate when in tablet mode but I have found it to be very easy to adjust angles to be more productive. I wanted something light, productive and combo. Got the best of all!
