Lightweight Comfort Meets Seamless Performance

The HyperX Cloud Headphones are a fantastic choice for gamers who value comfort, simplicity, and quality performance. This lightweight headset is designed with the user in mind and offers several standout features that make it a strong contender in the gaming headset market.
Pros:
First and foremost, the setup is refreshingly simple. Connecting via Bluetooth is incredibly easy—even easier than with any other headset I've tried. There's a toggle switch on the side of the earcup with a Bluetooth icon and a Wi-Fi icon. Just flip the switch to the Bluetooth side, and you’re instantly connected. No complicated pairing steps, no lag—it just works.
Comfort-wise, the headset excels. The memory foam padding around the ears is soft and breathable, making long gaming sessions much more enjoyable. I normally game for 2 hours, and these are perfect for that. The headband is also generously cushioned and feels light on the head, reducing pressure during extended use. Its solid yet minimalist black design with the HyperX branding adds a sleek touch, and the adjustable headband ensures a personalized fit for all head sizes.
The microphone is long and well-positioned, allowing your voice to come through clearly without needing to adjust constantly. The “raise-to-mute” feature is especially convenient—just lift the mic, and it mutes automatically, no buttons required. Battery life is solid, giving you hours of uninterrupted gameplay, and the charging cable is easily accessible when it’s time to power up again.
Cons:
There aren't many downsides, but if I had to nitpick, I’d say the headset could benefit from a bit more customization in its sound profile. While the audio is crisp and clear, especially in games, having more control over EQ settings would enhance the experience further for audiophiles or competitive gamers looking for a specific sound edge.
Conclusion:
All in all, the HyperX Cloud Headphones are a well-rounded, thoughtfully designed headset that's ideal for both casual and serious gamers. With its intuitive Bluetooth connectivity, high comfort level, strong mic performance, and clean aesthetic, it delivers great value. If you're in the market for a headset that prioritizes ease of use and gaming comfort without sacrificing performance, this one is definitely worth considering. The price point is also attractive :)

Been testing these for awhile. The instant take away is how light and comfortable they are! They upper strap takes the weight off and you don't end up with a skull divot after hours of use.
Bluetooth works ok. But adapter mode is where it's at. The sound is simply better. To be fair this is a limitation of Bluetooth and not the headset. Switching between modes takes about 5 seconds so it's easy to see the difference in quality. Audio quality supports a nice deep base and full range. No complaints.
Sound volume is as expected. Loud if you want it loud.
Mic is easily adjustable with satisfying detents. Fully up goes into mute mode which is super convenient.
Another major plus is how fast they charge and how long they last on a full charge. Up to 25 hours.
Adapter distance until sound dropout is about 45 feet. Good enough to grab something from the kitchen without issues.
Ear pads work great on isolating outside sounds. Without noise cancellation I can barely hear someone on the phone next to me.
For the price this headset is fully featured and excellent value.

Good Basic Wireless Headset

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
I needed a multi-platform gaming headset that could work with everything except Xbox, sorry Xbox. I wanted it to be wireless and easy to use, less is more in this case. I saw the HyperX Cloud Jet Dual Wireless Headset which checked all the boxes.
Pros:
- Lightweight and Comfortable.
- Multi-Device support.
- Rotate to Mute.
- Long Battery Life.
Cons:
- Plastic material has questionable durability.
- Ear Cushions are too Soft.
Setup:
The HyperX Cloud Jet Dual can connect via USB-A Dongle or Bluetooth. Both are simple in that you just set the switch on the Left ear of the headphones to the desired mood, then press the multifunction button to turn on the headset and go. As Plug-&-Play as you can get. Connecting via Bluetooth was super simple and worked without any issues.
There wasn’t any software needed to get the Cloud Jet Dual to work. In fact, this model doesn’t currently work with NGINUITY, the software used for other HyperX products. I did wish I was able to adjust some of the EQ settings on the audio and microphone, but I didn’t need those settings.
Feel:
This feels super lightweight, but sadly in the cheap plastic kind of way. The feeling in hand doesn’t make me want to be rough with them as I fear they might snap. But on the head, they feel good but there is a bit of that plastic creaking sound when moving your head. I’m not too worried as HyperX includes a 2-year warranty which is more than the standard 1-year warranty.
The ear cushions are a soft foam covered with mesh fabric that helps prevent sweating and won’t stick to your ears. The ear cushions come off quite easily, just pull the edges out from around the outside. My only complaint is that the ear cushions are actually too soft, which doesn’t provide a nice seal around the ear or keep the headset in place in combination with the headband. The headband is nice in that it can be adjusted to provide different fits easily, so I tightened it a bit and that helped keep the headset in place.
Sound:
I always like HyperX headsets as their Sound is good, and the Cloud Jet Dual doesn’t disappoint. The sound is full and clear, having no issue hearing chat while playing a game or kicking back to watch something. The sound balance is really good for the default settings considering there’s not EQ settings, games sound great regardless of platform.
Microphone:
The Microphone is sadly very flat and echo sounding, it sounds like when you forget to bring the headset mic down but start talking. I wanted to check NGINUITY to see if there were any settings I could adjust but realized the Cloud Jet Dual isn’t configurable in NGINUITY. It works fine for game chat but doesn’t sound flattering.
The microphone works via a rotate to mute/unmute. The only concern with this design is if that breaks, then you will be unable to mute/unmute. The flip to mute is a convenient feature, as in the cases where you want to eat or drink (from a glass), you’d most likely have to move the microphone out of the way anyway so this is just an extra bonus with the same action!
Battery Life:
The battery life is quoted at 25 hours with normal mode and 20 hours with low latency mode on. That matched up with my own results, though I mostly used the Low Latency mode to ensure sound was synced up. Either way, 25 or 20 hours of play time is more than enough to get through a weekend of gaming on a single charge. And if needed, since the charging port is USB-C, you can charge up from a phone charger.
Conclusion:
If you want a basic wireless gaming headset without any fuss with extra features or software, the HyperX Cloud Jet Dual is a good choice that provides platform compatibility while being simply plug-&-play. I always like HyperX products, and the Cloud Jet Dual was no exception. The Microphone could be better, but for gaming it did just fine. Overall sound quality is great, which makes this a solid recommendation for my use.

This will be my first HyperX product so I was very excited to try the Cloud Jet Dual Wireless Gaming Headset. After using it for a few days I am happy to report that this product performs well, especially at this price point.
This headset is advertised as being widely compatible with several different devices, so that was one of the first things that I wanted to test. I used the USB receiver to connect to my PC. The activation was instantaneous and connectivity was very stable. The sound quality using the USB receiver was consistently high quality. I did not experience any drop outs in the few days I used the headset. I then used the Bluetooth capability to connect to my mobile phone. This was accomplished easily and I found the sound quality over Bluetooth to likewise be excellent. I found that the wireless range of the USB receiver to be slightly shorter than Bluetooth.
This headset is lightweight and easy to wear. Construction standards met my expectations at this price point. This is a budget headset so as long as you keep that in mind, I don’t think that you will be disappointed in the construction or sound quality.
Overall I found the sound quality of this headset to be very good. I tested it playing games and over a few different streaming platforms. The sound is full range and has a nice amount of bass. At this price point, it would be very hard to find anything that sounds and performs better. HyperX had to make some compromises with the construction materials to reach this price point, but thankfully they did not compromise on sound quality.
The boom microphone picks up sound very well. I especially like that the microphone can be retracted when not in use and that this serves to mute the microphone. Yes this is a standard feature with boom microphones, but I still appreciate it.
HyperX rates the battery life at 25 hours and I found this estimate to be accurate. I never use my headphones for that long, but was able to use them for a few days without needing to recharge it..
The HyperX Cloud Jet Dual Wireless Gaming Headset wireless gaming headset features outstanding sound quality and reliable wireless performance. It is a great choice for anyone needing a wireless gaming headset, but who can’t spend more. At this price point, it would be very hard to find anything that sounds and performs better.

These headphones are great gaming headphones.
Super easy setup. I charged it up using USB c. I then plugged in the dongle in the PC USB port and I was ready to roll. It recognized the headphones right away.
Use during gaming was great. Dongle use had no noticable lag. Walking away from my PC to grab a drink and a snack was no issue at all. It did not drop and connection was clear and great in between game play pauses.
Comfort was great. The soft ear pads were super comfy. The elastic top band was not intrusive and it was snug and blocked out ambient noise pretty good. Long use did not hurt my ears and my cartilage was happy. So that was a plus ....
Battery lasted long. 1 charged and at a min I used for about 5 hours and it did not die.
Boom use was nice. Easy up and down. Volume dial is convenient.
Black clean color is great....
Only concern I have is the pads are fabric. It you sweat a lot it will end up absorbing and could potentially be a long term issue.
Overall great gaming headset. I would . recommend it.

HyperX Jet - Great for gaming

I like HyperX products. I've owned several gaming mice, keyboards and headsets and never really had any issues. I did have problems with the software/drivers at one point with one of my keyboards, but it did get fixed after an update. It's been a while since I last had a HyperX headset, so getting my hands on a JET Dual Wireless headset, I thought to give the brand another shot.
Before I start, keep in mind that this is a low- to mid-range product and as such, I won't compare it against high-end products. So let's dig in. The unboxing was quite nice, the headset was wrapped in a sleeve. It also comes with a charging cable (USB-Type C). The plastic doesn't feel cheap, there's a certain sturdiness to it. The ear cuffs are comfortable and remain comfortable after a couple of hours.
The sound quality is tailored for games. You can hear very clearly from where you're being shot at or if a giant tree is about to fall on you. I have tried several games and couldn't find any real issue aside from a tiny bit lacking in the bass. Music sounds acceptable and streaming sounds fine.
The microphone is another great aspect of this gaming headset. It has the obligatory swivel which mutes and demutes the mic. I have had no issues with it and I can be heard very well.
One of my favorite things about this headset is its versatility. It can use bluetooth or the USB dongle provided with it to connect to just about anything. This is one of the strongest points from this headset.
And lastly, the 25 hour battery charge. Now, I have no clue how to get to that number, but it did turn off after about 18 hours (more or less on 2 full charges each time). That's respectable for a gaming headset.
So what you get is a fine gaming headset with the HyperX Jet. It can connect to just about anything, it sounds very clear, has all the functions you can expect and is affordable. Sure, it doesn't have fancy RGB lights or the sound of audiophile headphones, but that's not what you buy a gaming headset for. I recommend the HyperX Jet.

The HyperX Cloud Jet headphones are an interesting. They feel great on your ears and head but lack in battery life, sound quality, connection reliability and mic quality.
Setup was easy, I simply took them out of the box, charge the headphones up during the day before I played in the evening. You can connect them via a USB fumble which I did to my PlayStation five or you can use Bluetooth depending on your device. I chose the fumble for my PlayStation five because typically that offers a longer range as I often like to go to my fridge to grab a drink. Nonetheless set up was easy and excluding charging time it only took a minute.
I typically play Warzone or similar type games with my friends. I noticed right off the bat that my teammates cannot hear me that well adjusting the Mic as close as possible to my mouth without touching was my best bet. I also noticed I had to have the volume at full max which then I had to adjust my PlayStation settings, but it seems like the headphone are generally lower than others in terms of volume and bass. My biggest complaint is when I walked to. The kitchen and back to my office, I never lost the ability to hear the game and chat but my mic would not work. I had to reset my headphones. Also when putting the boom up and down, their is no audial beep to let you know if your on or off mute. I don’t like that and constantly check where my mic is.
The headphones feel well built are black except for the head band and seem like they would generally last a long time. I didn’t have any problems playing hours of gaming…aka no fatigue.
I couldn’t really test battery life but HyperX advertise 25 hours which seems very low compared to the competition. You’re going to be charging more here.
This set is good but not amazing. I would have given 5 stars if the battery life was longer and the quality of audio was just a tad more booming.

Review of HyperX CloudJet
The headset incorporates dual wireless gaming, it has 5 functionalities:
1. Swivel to mute microphone
2. Status LED
3. Mode switch
4. Volume Level
5. USB-C charge port.
Connecting:
It has two types of connections:
1. Wireless via USB A Adapter connected to PD or Game console
2. Wireless via Bluetooth.
Paring process:
1. Via Adaptor is simple via toggle from the headset the button Mode switch. While changing from Bluetooth to adapter or vice versa can hear a voice confirming which mode being switched.
2. Via bluetooth, it require to pair with each device each time connected From the test connecting to a MacBook to iPhone to console, form the headset need to pair again.
Sound:
It is at reasonable experience, not that bad but not that wow level I would say. Listening while playing a game feels the left and right sound but feels like miss a bit of details in between if one keeps close attention to it. But if not cannot be noticeable.
If listening music, it feels a bit lack of base and embracing or surrounding effect or between I would say.
Microphone:
It is ok, I could maintain conversation while playing Resident Evil.
Feel & Comfort
On this there are couple of review. While I tested as adult, felt comfortable on my head, Didn’t’ feel fatigue and the weight after a while. But when it was tested by kid of 16 ys old, the feedback was immediately that felt heavy and the supporting rubber band felt uncomfortable.
What I liked:
1.The microphone goes mute when the swivel up.
2. Buttons are physical
3. The headset is not noise cancelling but it wall well the surrounding sound
4. Can manage level of volume based on the level of volume set from the device. If from the device is set the volume to 60%, from the headset can control separately only that much as maximum.
5. Can connect wirelessly and still charge.
6. Battery is replaceable although it needs some screw.
What I wished it were better or included:
1. Connect via cable and still charge and o listen such doesn’t require wireless connection.
2.. While connected wit cable to charge and listening. the use of power button comes a bit hard to reach as it is a bit overlapping spot underneath of the usb c port.
3. The headset cup is not foldable or doesn’t rotate 180 degree such to make easy for packing purpose to place in the backpack. It rotate a limited angle in both side but that only help to remove or place on the head.
4. Better bag or at least one that can be closed. It comes with textile bag that cannot be closed except of folding it.
In overall it feels good wearing it and during game playing feels comfortable.

This is a great starter headset for gamers that want something basic. The headset features of 25 hour long battery that can be recharged. It also has a physical rolling button to adjust the volume. It has two ways to connect one via Bluetooth with an included Bluetooth dongle. The other way to connect is via wireless. There is a switch button to do either. The microphone is flexible but can only be in One direction. The headset itself cannot be adjusted in height but has a band that can make the fit as necessary. Because the microphone is not adjustable you can only wear the headset in One direction. The headset charges via USB-C to USB cable that's included in the box. The sound on the headset itself is pretty basic, don't expect too much bass or any type of customization of sound. It does not have an app to make any adjustments. Overall, this headset is great for basic gaming. What I mostly like is the battery life and the actual button to scroll volume up or down. I would recommend it to any one looking for a headset that can be a great value for basic gaming.

he Hyper X-Cloud Jet Dual Wireless Gaming Headset for PC, PS5, Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck and Mobile in Black is a very good quality headset for the price. I have a lot of gaming headphones from different brands and the sound quality coming from this Hyper-X Cloud Jet Headphone has impressive sound quality that comes very close or on par with more expensive headsets that cost twice as much and even more than that. The thing I like the most about them besides the great sound quality is the simple controls. They just have a volume roller an on/off button and a 2.4ghz/Bluetooth switch. I like this because on most of my other headphones there are so many buttons I can’t remember what they all do and I cant find the one I am looking for and have to take them off to look. Personally, I would rather just adjust the sound on the Device they are connected to where I can see what I am doing. These headphones perform well with their signature sound setting left as is whether you are playing games or listening to different kinds of music. The sound signature is very well balanced on these and I am an audiophile that has been building my own custom car stereo systems for years. Some headphones are Bass heavy and lacking a little in the mid and high range with their signature but not these they are just right. The only thing I do not understand about these is the headband is not adjustable but instead has an elastic band across the inside of the main headband that is also not adjustable. I have a big head 7 ⅝ and they still seem a little loose. I believe Hyper-X should include 3 different size bands or make it adjustable if they are going to go with this style of headphone. They are going to lose out on a lot of customers just because they will be to big. Thats a shame because I have not had a better sounding headphone at this price point ever. They also have a 2.4 ghz dongle and Bluetooth so they will work with anything that has Bluetooth. I suppose someone could modify the elastic headband to make it shorter for smaller heads but how many people will do that not many. Most will just return them and look for something else if they do not fit right. If you have a big head or do not need snug fitting headphones then I would still recommend them. I would even modify them just because I don’t think you will find better sounding headphones at this price.

I had a specific use case in mind for these HyperX Cloud Jet headphones when I saw them, specifically due to the ability to connect to either the wireless dongle or to Bluetooth devices. I wanted to give them to my daughter who likes to play on her switch and iPad primarily which they work great for, and I also hoped they would work for the rear screen entertainment in my Cybertruck which happily they absolutely do. Tesla’s are a bit picky for Bluetooth devices and I have tried several that didn’t work for it but the Jet’s do and not only that but they sound great and even though they don’t have fancy features like active noise canceling they still muffle out the powerful Cybertruck sound system enough to be totally usable and comfortable back there. They’re simple and straightforward, with a USB-C charge port, volume dial, power/pairing button, and a toggle to switch between Bluetooth and the wireless dongle. The microphone is permanently attached and uses flip to mute which is great as well. They are easy to use, lightweight, have fantastic battery life, and overall perfectly suited to an older child or teen that needs headphones for gaming but is on a budget or simply doesn’t need all the typical gamer gimmicks. They even fit perfectly in the door pocket for easy storage and access for my daughter whenever she wants to use them for gaming or shows while on longer drives. They do exactly what I wanted them for, and are just basic enough but also just rightly equipped enough that it makes them an easy choice.

The HyperX Cloud Jet Dual is a decent headset for casual gamers that are looking to upgrade an older headset. It’s nowhere close to the best headset on the market - but it’s not trying to be. It works with a variety of gaming systems which is convenient, but the sound quality can be inconsistent.
In the box you’ll get the headset and a USB dongle and short charging cable. The controls and design are pretty straightforward. The buttons are easy to use and locate when wearing it. On the left cup is a switch between 2.4GHz connection (for low latency) and Bluetooth. There’s also the volume rocker, USB-C charging port and power button. The headset itself is relatively bulky with a closed-back over the ear design. Frankly, I prefer the larger headsets that go over the ear because it’s more comfortable to me than any headset that sits on parts of my ear. There’s an elastic suspension band that helps comfortably hold the headset to your head while in use. Note that the plastic headset is not adjustable, but that’s what the suspension band is for. The mesh foam earpads are some of the most comfortable I’ve used. They’re breathable and lightweight.
The boom microphone rotates up to mute. It doesn’t hide inside the headset like some premium headsets. But when you don’t need it, it’s certainly out of the way. The arm on the mic is very flexible and holds itself in place.
This headset has 40mm drivers that gives balanced audio with a decent amount of bass. When connecting via Bluetooth on my phone, I found the audio quality to be okay. Music was a little hollow and the bass wasn’t as deep as my other premium Bluetooth headsets. There’s no noise canceling, but the over the ear design helps keep noise out so it isn’t too much of an issue unless you’re in a really crowded/loud room.
I’ve used this on my Switch 2, PS5, and computer which are my primary gaming devices. I connected it easily to my Switch 2 over Bluetooth and thought the sound was pretty good. I played a good amount of Donkey Kong Bananza and felt immersed with the sound quality. It was the same experience for my PC, which I connected via the USB dongle. I played Mafia Definitive Edition and enjoyed listening to the sounds of the city. It was much better than listening to the laptop’s speakers. It was just as easy switching to the PS5 where I played some Call of Duty with friends. The only downside on the PS5 is that it doesn’t have the 3D audio that’s built into the PS5 branded headsets and some other premium headsets. While I had 3D audio hearing sounds from behind me and to the sides were a little more muted. It’s tough to describe other than to say that when specifically playing multiplayer shooter games where sound context is key, I preferred my Turtle Beach Atlas headset. My friends reported hearing me just fine although they described my voice as sounding like I was in a can. They could hear me just fine and we had no issues communicating, so it’s more of a personal preference.
The battery life has been surprisingly good. It’s rated to get about 25 hours on Bluetooth and 20 hours when using the 2.4GHz dongle. My sons and I have been using it off and on for the better part of a week and haven’t had to recharge it yet. For me, I look for a headset to last 1-2 weeks of a few hour gaming sessions before having to recharge.
While $80 isn’t nothing, I consider this to be a high quality entry level headset. You miss out on some of the better features, but again, you aren’t paying for them. The sound quality isn’t the best, but is more than adequate for gaming and will certainly suffice if you wanted to listen to music.

This headset not only looks great it is also super comfortable to wear for long periods of time. It has the options to connect via Bluetooth or the included WiFi adapter to your computer. It was recognized by my computer via Bluetooth quickly and my computer automatically recognized it and had it setup for Dolby Atmos in the spatial audio settings.
I enjoyed watching movies wearing them as well as gaming and the audio came across clear in both situations with a nice amount of bass that wasn't overpowering. The spatial audio really does help to immerse you in the games and with these headphones as comfortable as they are allow for hours of gaming or watching movies.
Pros
- Very comfortable
- Battery life
- Audio clarity
Cons
- Flimsy microphone boom so it sits loose when in the up position and falls down easily
- No colors or RGB lights which might not be a con for some people but without them they can't be synched with gaming software
Overall this is a great straightforward gaming headset with no frills or lights. It charges fast, has good battery life, and is very comfortable to wear for long periods of time.

The HyperX Jet has really impressed me. The build quality feels premium right out of the box—sturdy yet lightweight enough for long use without any discomfort. Performance-wise, it’s fast and reliable, handling everything I throw at it with ease. The sound is crisp and clear, and the design strikes a nice balance between sleek looks and practicality.
What I like most is how comfortable it stays even after hours of use, and the controls are simple and responsive. Whether for gaming, streaming, or everyday use, it delivers a smooth experience that feels worth the investment.
Overall, the HyperX Jet is a perfect mix of quality, performance, and comfort. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for dependable gear that doesn’t cut corners.
