Great price for good simple quality headphones. Cup the ear well and are not heavy. No problems with the sound. I would buy again.

Got this headset on sale. Not a fan of boom-mics at all (prefer headsets w/o them like the Sony Pulse) but I happened to like the mic-up/mute feature so I gave that a pass. They are also super comfy and seem pretty sturdy for a lower end model. The spund is fantastic and there's a slider on the side to bring the volume down to hear someone netter on the mic or just to lessen the volume without hopping to Windows. Overall great for PC gaming.

First off these sound amazing, headsets that cost twice as much don't sound as good and Don't offer the level of comfort that you get from the stingers.
I couldn't believe the price on these, you get way more bang for your buck
My only gripe is the connection, the part that connects to the controller is long and occasionally it would lose connection for a half second. This may be because of how I play. I play reclined and the controller sits around my hip area so it would frequently contact my body. This might now be an issue for you.
I did return these because I ended up going with a wireless set up. Also I got a huge raise at work so I said screw it and went for the A50's. I just hope my wife doesn't find out how much I actually paid for the A50's

I have gone through several different headsets ranging from Razer, Logitech, Corsair and turtle beaches. Each one has either been uncomfortable, heavy or didn't last long. I finally decided to give the HyperX headsets a chance and I wish I had done so a lot sooner. The headset straight out of the box is incredibly comfortable. It fits nice and snug but doesn't squeeze your head like my Razer Kraken's did. I can wear the headset for hours and the quality is amazing for the price. You can use the standard plugin for an Xbox controller without the xbox adapter or use the 7.1 surround sound attachment USB adapter for the PC. The quality for the mic is great and it's detachable. You receive a carrying bag as well for the items. All in all, I highly recommend anyone to the HyperX headsets out. I purchased the cloud stinger but ended up buying the cloud 2's as well.

I needed a corded headset that was easy to switch between my PS4, XBOX One and PC. I've owned a lot of high end Astro and Turtle Beach headsets so my standards are pretty high. I was skeptical that these HyperX headphones would impress at the price but wow was I wrong!
Sound is crisp and clear. Stereo separation is great so you get excellent directional awareness. Having a simple sliding volume control on the headset makes it easy to adjust on the fly, and I don't know why other headsets don't use the mic mute feature on these. Just flip up the mic and it goes on mute, no buttons!
These won't replace a true 5.1 surround headset, and while comfortable I wouldn't want to wear them for a marathon gaming session. That said, these headphones are as good as others that cost twice as much.

Wired stereo gaming headset provides excellent sound quality with an adequate microphone. The price point was also a driving factor which the affordability and durability of this headset make it a smart buy for those who enjoy gaming and not wanting to fork out a ton of money for stereo headset

HyperX- Superb Brand And Exceeds Expectations!

I purchased the HyperX-Cloud Stinger Wired Stereo Gaming Headset for PC, PS4, Xbox, Nintendo Wii U, Mobile Devices- in the colors red and black for my sons birthday. I never heard of the brand HyperX and because it came as a wired not wireless gaming headset and figured wired meant poor quality and poor performance. BOY I WAS WRONG WRONG WROOONG! I would definitely suggest to family and friends to purchase this product to satisfy their need for a high quality and superb performance WIRED headset. Price was reasonable, the stereo sound was crisp and clear with no interference of any kind, and for this to be wired for a gaming headset, this exceeded my expectations and needless to say that my son and I are more than pleased with our choice, and I will keep the brand HyperX in mind the next time I have electronical needs. One special feature we noticed how universal this product is and not only can my son use this headset with his PS4, but also his PC, a mobile device too! Makes this product a money saver or sure and one last thing is the headset fits snug, not too tight not too lose, just comfortably right without any slippage. You will not be sorry but instead very very VERY HAPPY!

Always been a fan of hyper x stuff. This is decently comfortable for its price range and the sound quality is decent as is the mic… at least based on the feed back I hear from my friends tv before he gets his headphones on. Only down side on this is don’t expect the synthetic leather to last longer than 2 years it will start to flake.

I really didnt expect this controller to hold up for so long but its lasted me 2 years and been way better to me than my headset that I paid over a hundred dollars for. Definitely worth it for the price. It is way more durable than it seems. Only small issue is that sometimes the mic won't stay up when I push it back to mute but that is probably just because I have used it so much in 2 years. Great headset though.

Theae headsets are amazing for the price point.
Sound quality is on the flat side, really close to a monitor headphones with good amount of soundstage to make it easier to detect your surroundings in fps, rpg, etc. Not a lot of bass, but that's how I like my headphones so these are perfect for me in that aspect.
Microphone is adequate but nothing amazing. For the price it's fine.
These fit my head comfortably and I can play for hours without any issues or discomfort.
The parts that I don't like are the volume control and the method of muting the headphones.
Vol control isn't great, doesn't have good controls and it's on the headphone part, not on the cord where I prefer it to be.
The way you mute the mic is to lift/pivot it up, and when it's muted it makes a pretty loud clock sound that the others can hear.
If the vol control and mic mute buttons were on the line, this headset would have been perfect, especially considering the price point.

Great gaming headphones. Sound quality is really good. Pretty comfortable for long gaming nights with glasses. Fantastic value for the price I would seriously pay 100 for these and I got them for half of that. I dont think its advertised as sound proof but it sorta is, so a lot of the times I play with only one ear on so I can hear what's going on in my house. microphone had some problems at first but after getting used to it and adjusting settings on my Xbox it works good. I like these so much that I use them as regular headphones when listening to music on my phone around the house.
The only con is that the cord is kind of sticky and comes unplugged a lot when moving around. I accidently yanked the cord out of my controller or phone multiple times but so far no problems. One other minor complaint is that the sound has to be nearly all the way up on both the headsets and the Xbox for friends to hear you and vice versa. I bought two different turtle beach headsets before this one and had to return both right away, one was uncomfortable as hell and the others mic broke the first day I had it. These blow the turtle beaches out of the water. I have had these for almost 6 months and have never had a problem. I dont write a lot of reviews although I read a lot before buying them and the reviews were right, best gaming headset under 60 bucks. I have actually been recommending these to friends that I game with that have crappy headsets because I love these things. For the price you cannot beat it.

Headset was purchased for mostly online meetings, it has good audio quality for the price. It doesn't pickup ambient noise easily and the volume slider on the right ear is handy. I do wish the cord was a bit longer though and maybe some inline controls.
On an average day I spend 7 hours or so with these, I wear glasses and they stay comfortable and don't press the glasses into the side of my head or ears.
Bass quality could be a little better, hip hop music sounds good though. Can't complain for a headset less than $60. Seems durable enough ash well, plastic band with metal inner slides. They ride in my bag when not out and there's other things in there to bump, ding and hurt them but they still haven't picked up any damage.
I'd definitely pick up this headset again.

This headset is really comfortable! Sound is great! I also like that this headset is universal (PS,Xbox,PC,Switch, etc.). For the Xbox, I use the Window Sonic on Audio Setting, almost similar to Atmos sound.

This HyperX headset is an affordable peripheral that packs in most of the basic features that you would need from a headset. It's sound is relatively punchy, though highs have a little to desire. The microphone is clear and audible and the headset is lightweight, adding comfort into the mix of positives. Great headset overall, but is for a casual gamer, not necessarily a highly competitive player.
