The sound quality is very good and it mutes a lot of outside noise for a better listening experience. The ability to mute the microphone by simply moving it to the up position is pretty nice. The volume control underneath the right took a little time to get used to but pretty easy to use once you get the hang of it. I was surprised that it didn't have a USB adapter but OK with just plugging it into the microphone/headset ports instead. Not perfect but for the price, it's worth it.

I recently purchased this headset for my son to use for gaming purposes. He absolutely loves it! We’ve tried a variety of headsets specific to both the Xbox and PlayStation over the years, but have always been unhappy with them, overall. This headset is compatible with all of our gaming systems and so far seems to have excellent sound quality and other useful features such as an adjustable microphone. As long as it stands the test of time, this will be considered an excellent buy!

This is my go to recommendation if anyone ever asks me for a good budget headset. It can compete with a lot of its higher end competition for less

I ended up picking up this headset after reading a multiple reviews. I am using this on the Xbox One. The sound reproduction is nice and clear. You can tell the direction the opponents are coming from, which is useful. The mic comes out nice and clear. The mic can be turned off by simply moving it up, which is cool and convenient. I have even used this on my cell phone at home and it works great. The only minor (personal preference) complaint is that I wish it had a little more bass in it.

My girlfriend give me one as a gift and after 5 years I'm bought another because they have a lot of quality a clean sound in an ear, are comfortable and also can be used for gaming, music or for whatever you want

This is probably the best gaming headset you can find for under $50. It comes with a single 3.5 mm jack for use with Xbox, Switch, PS4, etc that is permanently attached. It also comes with an extension cable that splits it into headphone and microphone 3.5 mm jacks for use with a PC. It's very comfortable and lightweight. Microphone is always attached and self-mutes when it is raised up. Sound is relatively clear, especially given the price point. Used in FPS gaming It will provide good directionality as long as your sound card supports it. The microphone is clear enough, again taking into consideration the price point. Summary: this is probably the best headset you can get for under $50. If you pay attention, you can often find it on sale for around $30-35... At which it's essentially a must buy even to have as a backup.

My husband got these for me for Christmas to replace some very old ones I had. I game so good headphones are important. The sound on these is amazing, they fit well, and the mic works good. My only complaint (which may be what others want) is they are almost completely noise cancelling. When I have them on I can't hear anything but what is coming through them. So sometimes I have to keep one side off to not be so immersed and hear others talking to me.

I purchased these for my husband at Christmas time. He was in deep need of a new headset. I wasn't able to fork out the $150 odd I would have liked to and found these with good reviews. The sound is good, the fit (oval cups rather than round) is more inline with your actual ear shape) and drown out all external noise. Haven't had much use for the mic yet, but if it's as good as the earphones themselves, definitely recommend. No money wasted!

I have glasses and the headphones still fit really well. The sound quality is good for the price. It is a little annoying having to flip the mic up and down to mute but other than that it's a great product for the price.

I never purchased a Turtle Beach headset (cost was a major factor), but I have used the Microsoft Xbox One official headset. I have to say, this item is top-notch in comparison. Excellent bass and mid-range sound quality; was able to hear many new sounds not previously noticed (usually have my TV turned down due to kids bedroom just next to my game room). Microphone seems to work well, and the mute ability by just pushing up the mic is an excellent feature.

This is a nice gaming head set, my old one broke and came across this one. Love the mic and sound.

I chose this headset because it doesn't look like a 5 year old designed it putting lights any where they could. But the sound is awesome. Not a lot of bass but that's alright because i think any more bass would drown out the small detail sounds. I used this for Xbox and it just plugs straight into the controller. Doesn't take batteries. The only downfall about this headset is there cable isn't replaceable but I got the 2 year warranty and if this headset last that long for the price I paid I'd be happy with that. Also, I found a app on Xbox called Dolby Atmos that made this sound even better and more clear so I recommend getting that too

We wanted a headset that wouldn't break. We wanted the microphone to swivel up when not in use. So far this headset seems like it is made sturdy enough to not quickly break from normal use. The large earcups are comfortable and the sound is fine. There is no distortion or anything. The swivel-flat feature should be convenient, but it is just kinda annoying when trying to put the things on your head. However overall this headset does its job, and as long as it doesn't break and end up in a landfill soon, that will be good enough for us.

I was hesitant about buying a brand that I've never seen before, but I'm seriously glad I did. They sound amazing, and they are durable as heck. For the price, they are completely worth it.

These are the best gaming headset I've found. I love the oval shape of the cuff. Fits perfectly over the ear. It never makes them sore as many headsets I've used in the past have. And they are so light, you can forget you're wearing them. I have always been a true Razer fan (own a pair of Kraken) these have proven far superior. The on cuff volume control and mic mute are also great features. Very satisfied with my purchase.

Always remember you get what ypu pay for. If you want noise cancelling or foam ears that dont slide look somewhere else. OTHERWISE these headphones are a great alternative if you dont want to drop $100+. The sound quality is gpod and the mic is clear. The foam for the ears could be better but overall they are very comfortable, they just slide a bit if you move your head around a lot. Great pair of headphones though

It's a pretty decent headset for the money. Comfortable over the ears and head and doesn't put pressure on your head which is great. I like that you can put the mic up and it automatically will mute. Also, the earcups rotate so they lay flat when you want to take off your headset during a break from gaming. Sound-wise they are good, not great. They get the job done and immerse me in the game so that's all I care about.

Pretty good over all sound, loved the ergonomics of the headset making super comfy to wear. I would definitely recommend it for anyone wanting a very good non-battery powered headset!

This Item has got to be one of the best low budget gaming headsets I’ve ever bought. It has a stable Build and amazing sound quality. The leather pads are a nice touch and really add to the conforability of the product. The mic quality is what you would expect from a budget gaming headset, not too bad but could be better. Over all my experience has been wonderful so far. I’m really enjoying my purchase.

Hands down one of the most comfortable pair of headphones that I've ever used. The sound quality is great and very durable. I'm not including the design in my overall rating because it's all personal preference, but they're not too clunky. I don't like the microphone not being detachable but it does move tilt to sit vertically on the left ear. Overall I love these and I use them all day.
