I bought this for my living room which is about 300 square feet. I had to have blue tooth because I stream from my iPhone when I am not listening to the radio. The CD player is a bonus I will probably rarely use. I was kind of worried that it is only 50 watts but am pleasantly surprised that it is pretty loud. It won't hurt your ear drums but it's not so loud that your neighbors will call the cops if you live in a house away from neighbors anyway. It is still clear with the volume all the way and those little speakers sound better than I expected. Oh and my young neighbor stopped and suggested I use the audio in jack and hook it up to my tv. Not quite surround sound but it's yet another little surprise. He thought it looked cool and sounded great too so he bought one for his garage. You're welcome Best Buy. For the price and what it is I am beyond satisfied with this entry level stereo. I am a musician as well so..... Did I mention it looks really cool like back in the day?

Shelf systems seem to be going the way of the dinosaur. I'm glad I found this little system. Sounds fine, not super loud, but clear. Really like the bluetooth. Very good product.

The look of this product is what sold me. That retro style is nice to look at on the shelf. I took the speaker covers off to expose the the look further. I did however have trouble geting the left channel to work but the trouble shoot suggest to unplug it for a min and it worked. Sometimes the controls malfunction but just unplug and it corrects the problem. Its a big sound for a good price and I would recomend it to anyone. Great for my work shop.

Really like the look and the small size. The sound is great and the FM radio reception is good with the provided antenna wire. The instructions are easy to follow and setup was a breeze. We bought 2 as Christmas gifts and had both out of the box and operating within 20 minutes.

I had bought a couple of other speakers but I noticed the RF indicators that this model has which is pretty cool since it looks like a retro reciever. The unit itself feels very cheaply made, there is no weight to the reciever itself, very light compared to other similar sized recievers I have bought recently. I wish the included speaker wires were longer, they are by far the shortest wires I have had included in a unit, the wires are less than 2 feet long, don't expect to have these speakers far from the reciever unless you buy speaker wire on your own. One of few positive things about the unit is that the speakers have very good bass for the size of the speakers, and they can get pretty loud in a decent sized room. Overall, if you want the retro feel of the receiver get this unit. If not, spend some a little bit more money and buy a different brand.

Very good stereo system. I bought this for my son and I am thinking about buying another one for myself.

I am very happy with this stereo system. We bought 2 of these for our older boys and they have been great. It plays CDs (original and CD-R), has better than average radio reception, and the Bluetooth feature is great for syncing iPhones or iPods. It has a classic look too which is a nice touch.

It's a fantastic inexpensive addition to my office- Really nice sound- connected it to my Mac- and it delivers a nice stereo plus highs, lows and bass. Can be a little weird sometimes with Spotify on the blue tooth end- but that's mostly because I haven't had time to sit and work out the kinks with my own wifi- the rest is a great little way to still listen to CD's (remember those?) and jam out to online music or youtube and get work done without headphones. (plus it's got that old school stereo look and feel)

Sounds clear and plenty strong in my garage. I like the small size with a big size sound.

Works Good, Not sure if it puts out a signal for Bluetooth or only accepts. If it put one out, that would be great. Not bad for a smaller space, no mega power, wouldnt suggest blasting it all the time. But sounds good for a smaller space.

I was amazed at the quality of sound, and the features that come with it! A feel of nostalgia with modern day technology, i.e. Bluetooth. I'm so happy with my purchase! Perfect size and sound for my needs!

Awesome sound and easy connect bluetooth. My only complaint is that it does not have a separate antenna connection that you could hook up to receive a better FM reception. There is only an antenna wire that is only good for marginal reception.

I bought this on sale around Christmas as a gift for my husband (but me too!) and we both love it! It has great sound and we both like the retro look. But again, it really has a great sound for the money! Very happy with the purchase and would totally recommend this item!!

This stereo has a great look and the sound is very good. This was bought for our garage radio and is perfect for that. It is not quite as big as I thought (which is good). And it seems very lightweight. We are happy with this radio.

Bought it for my 7 year old son for his Birthday. Great sound and loud enough for me to handle. He loves it! Love the options it also comes with.
