It has replaced 2 old 7-socket, single-row surge protectors. It had only 1,200 joule protection and the single-row did not allow for the different power supply cord connector shapes to configure well…which forced us to have 2 units. Now, we have just one surge protector, it fits all the power cords for the TV, Roku player, cable box, soundbar, and internet router/modem. Aaaaand at more than twice the joules of protection!! The bonus USB ports are a nice bonus, but we’ll probably never use them. I was expecting to shell out at least $50 bucks for a model with this joule limit, so the price was definitely a great surprise!

My iPad and Google Pixel phone both have C pins on either end of the cord. Besides this observation it is an excellent device.

We connected 2 monitors, speakers laptop hub and a printer connected to it. It keeps our investments protected from electrical spikes while staying hidden out of sight within her office desk shelf. We are very happy with it.

The reason I gave it a 4 star is that it doesn’t need “10 outlets” as there is not enough space to use all 8 outlets at the same time. Maybe 6 outlets and 4 USB ports would have be perfect because one can be able to use all of them at the same time.

We got this one and plugged everything back into it just in time for another thunderstorm. We had some very close strikes, but no problems.

Solid, but not perfect

Exactly what I needed

I specifically wanted something I could mount under my desk, and didn't care about the brand. Just needed something solid. This one did the trick, and I have had 0 problems with it. The USB direct charging ports were a nice added bonus.
