I bought this fan because the older model I had broke. This one seems faster and throws out more air.

I purchased three of these fans at the right price. They circulate/move air more than adequately and I don't find them to be excessively noisy. This model definitely needs a redesign. Instead of all the controls, i.e., on/off, speed, and directional being located at the base, they are located behind the fan's head, which makes it hard to get to. I had a similar size fan and the controls were conveniently located and easily accessible at the base. Please note: the base is circular and huge! There is no remote. Other than the protective metal grates, the entire fan is silver plastic. For the money, I am satisfied because the noise level is tolerable and it does cool you down.

We bought two of these fans. We love them! Even the low setting they, while not noisy, give a lot of nice, cool air flow. The highest setting is a bit noisier, but not loud. Perfect for the table or the floor. The grille on the fan is narrow so no little fingers fit through, either. We had gone to BB to check out a Dyson blameless fan, but for the price this fan provides much better air flow. You won't regret this purchase.

I bought this same fan a year ago in gunmetal so when I saw it come up on one of Best Buy's daily deals I grabbed two of them in copper. The copper isn't anywhere near like the copper color of a penny - the photo online is a good representation of the actual color. I'd describe it as a brushed version of the gunmetal (i.e. like 'brushed' nickel'). This fan is sturdy and all metal construction. I very seldom feel the need to use anything higher than the lowest (1) setting as it moves a lot of air.

This is a powerful fan! It is sleek in its design, able to blend with any décor. It cools off a fairly large room easily. Downfall....it can be a bit loud but I often use it as "white noise" to help me sleep!

I read the reviews and they were almost all positive, so since it was the "bargain of the day", I decided to order it. I'm so very pleased with this fan. It's perfect on these days that don't warrant turning on the air conditioner, since the days are a little cooler. There are 3 speeds, but I wish there were 4 since the lowest speed is a little strong. It's not a bad criticism--just a thought to make it better. It is very attractive and works well. AND, I got it for almost half price.

Made the recent hot spell bearable, and looked good on the table. I like that it has variable speeds and oscillates.

Not only is this fan awesome looking it is quite powerful for its size and really circulates the air in my room well.

Really interesting vintage look is great in your house. It works well with 3 speed settings. My only negative comment is that I wish the lowest setting was a little gentler, a little quieter. Low is pretty strong for a smaller space, but I still like and enjoy using this great piece, which blends in nicely with my decor!
