I love this small sound bar I use it on my Bedroom TV. I was spending alot of time in there due to an illness and when we bought a new TV it's sound was not as good. I know some of the reviews are not very good and I almost didn't buy it but I'm glad a went with my Best Buy chat help because it has been perfect for my TV. I haven't had any kind of trouble with it. It was an easy set up and inhances my volume perfectly. It doesn't even take up much room. I know that alot of people complain about using a second remote but come on we all have several remotes for this or that,

I have a new Sony 55” 4K HD TV. I also have a Sony Blu Ray 4K HD player. I love the TV but found that the sound was a little less than desirable so after looking at several sound bars, Most were too big and bulky or complicated for my needs. So I purchased this one and it was VERY EASY to set up and it easily paired with My Sony electronics. The sound is VERY CLEAR and easy to understand now. We watch tv, stream movies, watch Blu-ray videos and even listen to music. It is MUCH improved with this soundbar than with the factory tv speaker. One suggestion that I WOULD MAKE to buyers is though is that for the BEST & HIGHEST QUALITY of listening pleasure, you will need a DIGITAL OPTICAL CABLE which is NOT included. The company provides cables for GOOD (ACCEPTABLE) Quality but suggests THEMSELVES that for BEST QUALITY RESULTS, to purchase a DIGITAL OPTICAL CABLE. And you can get those for whatever price point you prefer but that’s what I used and everything set up very quickly with that and no problem with mouths not matching up with sound or anything else like some have mentioned. Maybe they didn’t try the other cable. It took me TEN MINUTES from opening the box to using the product. Love it! Mine was $39.99! Don’t wait! What a great deal!!!!

I live (roughly) an hour and a half away from my Gainesville Best Buy, it's where I started my smart home devices, very FIRST sound bar EVER.. basically ALL MY TECHY stuff, so after purchasing a 32 in. tv, for my bedroom, I gassed up the truck & headed to BEST OF THE BEST BUYS, for a speaker/ sound bar to go with new tv, my budget was $50 & worried about the QUALITY that would get me.. WOW WAS I WRONG!!! What a PUNCH this INSIGNIA small but MIGHTY sound bar puts out!! It's perfect for a bedroom, & could even use for a small living room.. comes with a remote, also 2 different ways to connect, HDMI/optical, w/ option to change it to one or other via remote, sound packs a PINT SIZED PUNCH!! Insignia deserves a 5 star review as well for making a speaker at this price that is quite comparable to higher end speakers, Best Buy as usual deserves a 5 star review for selling a great quality speaker for people on a budget!! We bought one of these to improve the sound from a Samsung 24" TV we recently acquired for our kitchen. The TV has a great picture and absolutely horrible sound - exactly what you'd expect from a TV with tiny speakers. To make matters worse, it only has an optical audio output, so it wasn't easy to find powered speakers to work with it. Insignia soundbar to the rescue! I found this on sale at Best Buy. At normal price, it's a little too expensive, I think. It has all the inputs you'd expect including an optical in. It was an easy hookup to the TV and vastly improved the sound. After some fiddling, I was even able to program a Comcast remote to control it. It's also just the right size to Velcro to the stand on the TV. So now I have a great picture from the Samsung, great audio from the Insignia and can control them both with a Comast XR2 remote. Pretty cool. Please note - this is NOT an audiophile grade speaker. The built-in EQ settings are strange - leave it on standard for best sound. It won't get loud enough to disturb your neighbors. But, it does greatly improve the sound of a 24" kitchen TV.

I needed something to amplify the sound of my TV in my shop. I wanted Bluetooth so I could also run Spotify and Amazon Music off my iPad. This mini sound bar meets the need at a reasonable price. Not enough to rock the whole basement but the quality of sound and increased loudness is an improvement over what I had. You won't get Sony or Bose quality sound but you will have better that TV speakers.

Wow... a lot of sound!!! This sound bar packs a lot of punch for being so small. I use it in my garage for my tv and music and I can't say enough good things about it.

When I pulled the speaker out the box (size) I thought the sound would be horrible. Quite the opposite, the sound for its size makes a big difference compared to television speakers. For small television I say buy it!

So I purchased this to replace my small PC speakers as I wanted more sound but less cords. I honestly didnt think this soundbar was going to be much of an upgrade for the price. WRONG! This soundbar is about the best 12 inches of anything ive ever paid for. It came with a remote which has 3 audio settings, STANDARD, THEATER and NEWS which was nice bc sometimes im watching Netflix on my PC and other times im pllaying a game or listening to music. Soundbar has a very good amount of bass, which is crazy bc the thing is super small. I raved about this purchase and how good it was for 2 weeks afterwards.

I use this soundbar for a bedroom TV. I also bought 2 optical cables from Best Buy and a connector for the cables from Amazon for $3.00 (not available at Best Buy). The extra length allowed me to run the cables along the baseboard and place the soundbar on a bedside table right next to the bed.It works GREAT and that bedroom TV is connected to an over the air amplified antennae that I also bought from Best Buy.

This little soundbar was a perfect compliment to the Insignia Roku TV I bought for my guestroom. Connection was a breeze with optical cable and selecting PCM Stereo in the TV audio settings. It can even be controlled with the Roku TV remote. The sound is excellent with music, OTA broadcasts, and DVDs. Overall a great deal!

Love this sound bar! Have a small tv with terrible sound and minimum volume mounted in the bathroom. This sound bar gives great volume and dynamic sound.

Not all flat screens are mounted on a wall. My panosonic has speakers designed to be reflected by the wall :-(..TV is suspended on a swivel to be viewed from more than one room unfortunately the sound is brodcast away from the viewer. ..this product fixed the problem. . :-)

Great sound for small room satisfied with this bar

I never thought that I would like the sound bar because it was a mini. The sound is great and I can use it anywhere.

So this is my third sound bar I've purchased. I was looking for a small system for my bedroom. My wife and I have our 17 month child in our room who is a sound sleeper however our Samsung LED sound quality is not the best. After convincing my wife to get a sound our biggest concern was the size of the bar and price. We didn't want to mount it just have place on our high boy just underneath our tv. And we were on a budget. At our local Best Buy they showed us a small sound bar by Insignia which is Best Buy brand crazy cheap for only $50. Small system with a lot of sound behind it. One wire hook up made it easy to install. Now the sound is not the best, if your a perfectionist like I am not the best product. But for our needs of using it a couple nights a week, loud enough to hear pretty good, but not wake up our kid just 5 feet away and only $50. Totally worth it.

I was hoping for just a decent inexpensive speaker to use in a small room, and this soundbar delivered. It has impressive volume for its compact size, and doesn't sound bad for the price. Having bluetooth, a remote, and an optical input makes it perfect for me and an excellent value if you find it on sale.

We originally purchased an open box that was said to have everything included, but when it arrived, it was missing the power adapter and a cable. Our Best Buy store replaced it with a brand new one (great customer service), which worked great for a short while and then stopped working. Called Insignia, and they said it was probably a manufacturing defect, after we went through all the paces with them. We thought we'd try one more because of the great price, the small size, and the descent sound for an affordable option. Upon plugging the new one in, it seemed to be dead on arrival. But my husband figured out something the Insignia rep did not tell us. IMPORTANT NOTE FOR INSIGNIA TV OWNERS: If you plug up this sound bar and it does not give out any sound (or if it suddenly stops giving off sound), check your "Digital Audio Setting" on the TV. It needs to be set to PCM instead of RAW. Once he figured that out, we have had no problems, and the sound bar is perfect for our bedroom to make it so we can really hear people speaking and have a richer sound.

I bought this to use on my 19" tv at work. Most thin framed tvs have horrible speakers with low volume and tinny sounds. This sound bar was a huge improvement. I'm not saying this is perfect, it does have its faults, but it was perfect for my use. My environment is pretty loud at times but the volume can keep up with the changes in what is going around me. I usually don't have to strain to listen if it has spoken words like the news or something. The downside is something musical is playing it can not handle low frequencies. Sometimes it clips off. But 90% of what is on my tv is verbal, nonmusical. Bluetooth was simple. My phone found it instantly and I was playing music in full range. Played loud and clear, but once again not for anything with a very low range, it can't handle lows that is meant for subs. For $40, you can't beat it. There is no point of buying a larger or more expensive sound bar of a small tv.

Do you know why I love Best Buy? Been looking for a sound bar for my PS4/4K monitor set and didn't like the prices (too high, in my opinion). Went to the sound bar section and found this Insignia 2.0 Mini on sale (open box) for $28!!! Originally $79. Hooked it up to my PS4 (easy to do) and it is thumping! Bluetooth connection to my smartphone and it is thumping and crystal clear sound. I highly recommend this if you are on a budget or just don't see the $200 value from the more expensive alternates.

I bought this sound bar to make up for the sorry volume control on my TV. Got so very tired of certain few channels on my TV while broadcasting a movie having a volume so low I'd have to turn TV up 100% just to hear the TV over a quiet fan, and a quiet A/C Window Unit. This made the difference in my viewing pleasure. This Bluetooth Compatible Soundbar with it's amplified allows you set your volume at a comfortable level.
