This is review is based on the ease of availability to pickup immediately, its portability, overall quality, longevity, and price. I purchased this projector screen along with a Miroir DLP projector at my local Best Buy in May of 2017. I needed both items for a family member's memorial and it was a huge plus that both were available for 1 hour pickup. Its easy enough to put up and to break down. The only thing I wish it came with was some type of carry bag to securely hold and transport the two pieces, the stand and the screen together. What does takes extra time is trying to level the screen. I feel the product is solid and not flimsy. I have owned it for 2 years and its still looks and operates great, nothing warped, ripped, broken. The screen was also on discount, I believe it was on sale for $79 so I was quite happy with the price. Compared to my 55 HDTV in my home, its great to be able to setup a second bigger 75" display elsewhere in and outside of my home. Over the last 2 years, I have used the projector for school presentations, several funeral, nighttime movie nights by my pool, a second TV for special events, and during the holidays we display special video decorations for Halloween and Christmas. For $75 it works great, fairly easy to transport, perfect for small to medium groups.

I purchased my screen after reading reviews for the outdoors to watch movies like at the drive in. Winds got up to 12mph today so I put sand bags on the bottom and the screen is protected in between two post on my covered patio. The wind blows yet it stands. We had great movies to bring in the fourth and I am enjoying tonight. I am a single female and find the screen manageable between indoors and outdoors. I gave away to the church the 12 fr. wide 8 ft. long inflatable screen I purchased a couple of weeks ago because it was too big for my taste. The Insignia screen is very versatile for work and play!

Purchased this for a company meeting and upon initial setup one of the end caps fell off allowing the screen itself to slide out of it's tube that housed it and connected it to the main bar (what you hang to keep the screen open). After pushing the screen back into the tube and putting the cap back on, it seemed ok. I went to stretch out the screen and latch it and the cap popped off again... Once again I put it back together and finally got it to latch, only to have the latch locking mechanism fail (the screen went flying up) and once again the cap popped off... I put it all back together, put it back in the box, we had our meeting and I took it back to BestBuy. I had other issues upon return, but to comply with review guidelines I'll leave it at that.

Good, but may need a minor modification

The screen is generally very well made, but there was a minor problem with the mechanism that attaches the screen roller to the upright stand. It did not hold them together securely. After removing the retaining clip with snap ring pliers, and lifting the plastic latch off of the shaft without detaching its spring, it was obvious that the three holes in the shaft were not aligning properly when the latch was in its "captured" position. After rotating the shaft appropriatly with channel lock pliers and then reassembling the mechanism it worked much better but still not particularly well. The forces on the mechanism when the screen is extended help hold the parts together, but the screen has a slight tilt to the rear that can be corrected by putting a small book (or similar) under the rear leg of the tripod. The reflective surface of the screen is excellent.

I got this for work and play. At work I use it for indoor presentations, at home I use it to watch movies outside. It is fantastic for either. It can be a bit troublesome to store, but that comes with the territory. Any projector of this size is going to be the same size in terms of storing it. So just be mindful of where you're going to keep it when not using it. In terms of use, it's dead simple. You put the legs out for the stand, and you hook the screen to the top hook and raise the pole. Boom done.

The person I picked up from would not let me inspect at delivery, I should have insisted. It came with the screen detached from the top bar. As it was a return and I had to use it the next day I attempted a repair which kind of worked but I don't feel is reliable going forward, and now its not returnable. More, it is much smaller than advertised. I'm sorry I purchased this and the few bucks I saved buying open box made the savings illusory. Horrible experience. I'm trying to decide if I bury it or throw it out the next large item trash day.

I purchased this over the weekend for the big fight on Saturday. I was a little hesitant due to not sure what to expect for the picture clarity. To my amazement and everyone else that was at our fight night party was indeed beyond impressed especially for the price. Super easy to assemble and put away. Now I have it for family movie nights in our back yard. would certainly recommend it.

    Screen Didn't Stay Up

Bought the day before a Board meeting. Everything set up well, until I went to lock the screen in place with the lever. The screen would fall back down not matter what position it was in. Several of us tried, so we ended up having to use duct tape to hold in place for the presentation. Returning the screen today. Was disappointed it didn't work out.

I bought this ON SALE. I set it up on a calm spring June night easily. I watched a 90 minute movie and was impressed. It's light weight and tall and thin for garage storage in a corner. With careful operation it should last for many uses. What are you doing outside in a wind storm watching movies anyway nay sayers.

Got it for a good price. Insignia product are great products. Their were reviews of the screen not staying open because of the top part being not to stable when you unfolded but you can always get a rubber band to hold it in place and doesnt close. Isnt nothing major but is the best deal u can get for a screen projector.

I needed to project onto a screen for a business presentation and wasn’t sure where to turn to, locally, to secure a projector screen. I presumed that Bestbuy would be a good first stop and I presumed correctly. They did not have this in stock at my local store but had it shipped directly to my home within days. I would recommend it to anyone who has similar need.

This screen is great, the only thing is that the locking mechanism that hold's the screen up is very loose and often tends to collapse on its own weight! To fix this problem, I placed a small piece of card stock between the lock and the arm that holds up the screen to create some friction, and it now works great!

I recently purchased this as a Best Buy deal of the day. I had bought a cheap projector to watch movies out on the back deck at night. We were using a bed sheet as a screen. That worked fine, but this is on a tripod and I can take it out into the backyard close to the fire pit. I’ve used it once so far and am extremely happy with the purchase!

Family and I bought thinking it’d be great for an outdoor screening of a televised HBO fight. Worst mistake ever. After purchasing and being told there was a 15% restocking fee, we kept it thinking maybe it’d be ideal inside. Nope, was even worse. Too big and clumpy. Ideal for a huge meeting space, definitely not worth the buy though.

Very good projector screen for needed presentations. Easy and efficient set-up & take down. Only downfall is that it leaned just a bit due to it's width (64.5") compared to the stand. It is only noticeable to my taking note of it as the one putting it up and presenting. It does not affect the presentation other than adjusting the picture a bit.

This is an excellent screen. It meets all of our needs and set up was a breeze. I feel like it replaces our big screen tv only this is portable. Purchased this for our ZTE smart projector and its a perfect match. The projector and screen were a Christmas gift for my husband and all he could say was “best wife ever!)

Easy set-up out of box. One quick connect to tripod and had a working screen in less than 3 minutes after opening box. I purchased this screen at my local store. Online stated they had 2 in stock. They had actually just been checked in from truck. Employees were awesome, they went through back room looking and finding this screen for me!

Well built -- good value for the money. Tripod is solid. It folds up and has a carrying handle. It also has a "quick-release" mechanism for removing the screen from the tripod. That might be useful for storage. You can spend a lot on a screen, but for the occasional movie or meeting, it is lightweight and well built.

I purchased this on Deal of the Day along with theVivitek projector to have outdoor movie nights. The screen was so easy to set up and very sturdy. It's a true white screen with black edged making the display perfect. The price made this the best option. It's a great screen and study stand it's easy to store. It folds down to nothing.

I thought this would be a cheap screen. For the price this screen was quality. It was too massive for my camping trip in which I got a portable projector but it has to be one of insignia’s best products. Anyone looking for a 75 inch screen with durability and quality look no further.
