Sturdy, easy on and off, simple to use, doesn’t snag, fits small wrist

This band works best for someone who is active being that it doesn't pinch like the plastic ones the Apple watches come with.

I was looking for a band to wear for running. I was concern about getting a fabric one because it could smell over time. This one doesn’t. The Velcro is strong. The only complain I would have is that I would prefer the band to stay connected instead of always having to loop one side into the other strap ring.

There are no shortage of Apple Watch bands to choose from outside of Apple's own products, which gives a lot of flexibility to the designs. I wear an Apple Watch for health reasons. The other features are nice to have and I've come to appreciate leaving my phone on vibrate at all times because the watch notifies me of calls and text messages. However, I find the watch bulky and bigger than I like, and having an uncomfortable band makes it worse because my skin is easily irritated, especially given my tendency to get hot. Fabric bands have become my preference because they allow my skin to breathe and reduce irritation. The other reason I prefer fabric bands like this one is the ability to get the fit just right. I rarely use a sport or leather band and have the holes lined up to get a comfortable fit - always too tight or too loose. This is the first reason I really like this band. The band is threaded through a plastic piece, and then secured to itself with 3 little strips of Velcro. This allows the most precise adjustment, and the flexibility to quickly adjust it if it suddenly feels to tight or too loose. If I start getting hot, sometimes I want to loosen it slightly for a short time, and this is easy to do. The color is ever so slightly darker than the way the picture appeared to me, but is still a very soft mauve color. I have a Starlight colored watch, and it pairs nicely. I also have bumpers on the watch that I have in Starlight and Rose Gold, and it matches almost perfectly with the Rose Gold color. Being a neutral color though means this band is going to look good with most of the Apple Watch colors and generally looks good with most things I wear. One feature I like a little less is the lack of elasticity in the band material. It is a little hard to get on because I find I have to open the band completely to get it on, and then try to thread the edge through the plastic adjuster while holding it on my wrist. I believe the band could be improved with a little more elasticity, but once I got used to it, getting it on was a little less troublesome. Overall, the quality seems excellent. Time will tell how well the threads in the stitching hold up to the Velcro being pulled away, but it otherwise has held up very well and remains comfortable. It also seems to be very secure to the watch - it does not slide out without pushing the buttons to release it. Being a much less expensive alternative to the Apple-branded equivalents, it's definitely a worthwhile investment if you are looking for a fabric-type of band (this one is nylon), and most skin types should not be bothered by the material.

This Active Nylon Watch band fits perfectly in my 38mm Apple Watch. The material is soft against the skin and light in weight. I have been using it for casual wear and active sports such as running, biking, basketball. The material gets moist with sweat but tends to dry out fairly quickly with regular air drying. The nylon strap is different than the usual silicone band I have been using. The soft edges of the nylon band glide across my skin without any tugging or pulling. I have confidence in this watch strap to hold securely and firmly. The mauve color tone looks very nice and goes well with many different skin tones in my opinion. The material and overall quality are very comparable to OEM watch bands. Adjustability is fantastic with the Velcro on the watch band. It is easy to keep in a loop for taking on/off my wrist or to open the watch band up completely. Comfort, style, and fit are great. Really happy with this watch band and will be buying more colors in the future.

This is a great new band option for my Apple Watch. This band snapped right into place easily without any fuss and it fit absolutely perfect. I have several different bands depending on the situation or day that I'm wearing my watch, so interchangeability is important. The material itself is very soft, comfortable and light weight as well. One of the first days I wore my watch with this band, was during an outdoor school sporting event on a really hot day where I was working as a volunteer, and this watch band stayed comfortable all day, and it looks great too! The band also grips and holds tight so at no point was I worried about it coming apart and my watch falling off. The only negative I have is more about this style of watch band, and it concerns the part where the long side wraps through, or connects with, the short side. It can be a little bit bulky and stick out unless you like to wear your band really tight, which I do not. It is a new band though so hopefully that part flattens down over time and use. So if you're looking for a comfortable band to wear all day that doesn't weigh your arm down, I can easily recommend this.

The Insignia Active nylon band for the Apple Watch is a decent alternative band for replacing the original one that came with your Watch or if you just want extra options. The nylon material is good for not sticking to your skin when you get sweaty, although I'm sure over time the band will absorb sweat and dirt and need to be cleaned. Compared to silicone or leather bands, I greatly prefer this material when I know I'm going to be sweaty, and that's the case with this band. I have larger wrists and hands and this was able to fit me just fine, although the design of the band is a little annoying for anyone but those with the smallest hands. The shorter side of the band is just a bit too short so it becomes a little unwieldy when trying to slip the longer part through the buckle. This could be alleviated with just a bit more material. Even my wife's hands can't quite slip through with the band fully attached. Once you get the plastic piece through the buckle, the hook-and-loop fasteners do a good job of holding the Active Nylon Band together. Since the "hook" parts are fairly small, I think this will lend itself to some flexibility with how you place it as you tighten the band, which should extend the life of the product as well.

Was pleased to receive the Insignia Active Nylon Watch Band for my Apple 7 watch. After opening, it easily slipped onto my watch and it's in 2 sections, unlike the OEM Apple bands. It does have good thickness and quality. The coloring is nice ~ quite similar to my Apple band. This one fits 38, 40 or 41mm watches so more for a small wrist. It's made of soft nylon and has a loop closure that lets you adjust the band to fit your wrist size. The one thing I personally have a minor issue with is when you remove it, then try to place back on, it can be difficult to maneuver if you have dexterity issues in your fingers. The way this is designed the loop closure opening, which is next to the 3 velcro tabs, is too large and the band slips right through the plastic slot. You have to keep slipping it back in through that slot unless you have small hands or are very careful not to let it slide through entirely. My Apple band does not do this as the closure tab stops it from happening. That is one reason why I love the nylon bands as they are normally so easy to take on and off. I don't sleep with my watch on as I charge every night so it has to be removed. I found this to be inconvenient. Aside from that issue it's a nice enough band and as mentioned if you don't have arthritis in your fingers and good dexterity it should fine. Plus the price is way lower than the original Apple bands which is a definite plus. For me personally, after wearing a couple days, I have switched back to my Apple band due to my fingers not always cooperating, but for most people I can recommend it. The quality is there just a design that I don't care for.

This band material is my favorite for my Apple Watch 7. It is very comfortable and breathable. I have never owned an actual Apple brand one though. I have always found them online for relatively cheap, but they are decent. This Insignia band is nice, but it isn’t ideal for me. It is constructed differently than the Apple one (and my dupes) with a more traditional two piece band instead of it being one long strip that slides open and closed. When I take this off, it usually pulls itself open and then I have to re-thread it when I put it back on. I have to try to re-thread it by at least getting the plastic end through the loop, and then slip it on and fasten it. I have a very small wrist that measures 5.5” around, and this band just fits without the end of the band covering the top of my watch. If I put the band on carefully and don’t put it on tight, it’s fine. But I wonder if this band would fit anybody with a larger wrist. Usually these types of bands come in a few sizes, which I think is better. The color of the band is black, but it has brown in between the black parts. It looks okay, but I would like it better if it were just solid black. This band has three sections of Velcro. The closure is quite secure. Overall this band is quite sturdy and should last a long time.

The packaging is perfect, especially for an Apple Watch band. The material is very tightly woven perfectly, matter in fact I was quite shocked how well the band was made. The material has some elasticity to it, the band stretches a little, and I extremely love that. The band has three (3) velcro pieces at the end of the longer band half. The velcro is used to secure the strap together after you loop the band in the loop on the smaller half of the band and the velcro holds extremely well. The color is mainly black with some blue and brown dots, I love the stunning color. Putting the strap on the Apple Watch Ultra was super easy, you press and hold the button on the back of the strap one side at a time, then install the other half of the strap. The shorter strap attaches to the inside of your wrist while the longer half of the strap attaches to the outer side of the watch. And this strap attaches to other variations of Apple Watch besides my ultra one Apple Watch. You slide the longer half of the strap through the loop and adjust then velcro in place. The feel is great and never gets loose, the elastic type band is perfect, to hold to your wrist and expands or shrinks as your wrist does. Highly recommended!! Enjoy the pics !!

Bought this for my son. He said the silicone Apple branded one that came with the watch would hurt and get sweaty. He said this one was much more comfortable. He loves it.
