I was skeptical about a CD slot holder, but they tend to put these at a handy height in cars and this worked well for being able to see my phone! It’s secure yet doesn’t seem like it will damage the slot. The mechanism is convenient, it doesn’t clamp down hard on the sides of the phone; however I have never had trouble with it wiggling around. I do have a tiny phone.

I needed al alternative. The style that clips to the air vents broke both my vents. I cant use a style that suctions to the dash because of the type of dash surface (not smooth). I don't like the idea of a cup holder phone holder, as it encourages you to look away too far when needing to look at the phone - like for directions/maps. I didn't want one that suctions to the windshield because I don't want the phone in my line of sight/to become an onstacle. So. I saw this one, and I immediately considered it because of all the above mentioned issues. It is super easy to put together and install - literally just slips into the CD player. My CD player is broken so I never use it anyway so I thought this woule be perfect. I do absolutely think it was the best choice, and I have very minimal complaints. The ONE complaint I have is that kf the phone holder is empty, it vibrates very loudly. I don't like having to remove it when a phone isn't in it, and dont always like my phone in the mou t, so... really, just annoys me that it makes so much noise when empty.

This car phone holder was easy to assemble and fits very sturdy in the CD player. Great idea as we don't use the CD player slot and was more convenient then using the air vents. Device swivels so position of phone is very convenient to get it in correct position. Item is made very sturdy and very good price.

My wife loves this product!! She used to have one that required a magnetic sticker but she didn't want to cover her phone case with any of that. Fits in the CD slot, sturdy and easy to remove and place phone in the holder. We should probably get a back-up one just in case they stop making these.

Installation couldn't be easier - just carefully put the base into your CD slot and the thin foam pads hold it securely in place. No shaking when driving, Easy to adjust the angles, and the sides grip your phone when you push it firmly against the back of the holder.

Bought this for a 2011 Camry when the Bluetooth stopped functioning properly. We bought this style because the windshield mount was distracting and the dashboard is so old and sticky (melted) that it wouldn’t stay on a disk there. We thought about cup holder ones but they seemed a little low. The height for this one is perfect, and though it blocks the tiny screen it really doesn’t matter. The snap in and quick release feature for the phone is very convenient and it barely bounces while driving. It is easy to plug in from the bottom as well if charging. Overall very pleased.

Nice fit on my vehicle's cd slot. Doesn't move around to much and allows horizontal swivel. Best mount I've had in awhile.

Pros: - nice, snug mount Cons: - blocks the CD player - have to take eyes off windshield when viewing phone - can pinch your fingers - fingers seems a little fragile

Easy to use, Great Quality. Hold an iPhone 15 Pro Max pretty well. It shakes very minimum when in movement.

My biggest issue with any phone holder is it never stays suctioned for very long, the New Mexico heat never helped. However this one is still holding strong. Highly recommend

Slight challenge getting it into the CD slot without forcing it. But it has held in place.

I bought this because i was trying to avoid mounting a holder on the windshield and did want to glue one to my das. unfortunately this one block the car screen too much and bounces around a bit once the phone is inserted into it.
