This is probably my 6th Roomba generally each year they not only get more expensive but they get better. I can usually get a few years out of it before it starts acting up this on however 1 year and 2 weeks later, just out of warranty I’m getting an ERROR 8 code over and over. I let it go for a week just being too busy today I called Roomba and they are sending me a new bin free although it’s out of warranty but because it’s so close! They get extra points for that! I do have the extended warranty with Best Buy so this saves me from having to return it. Don’t get me wrong I love my Roomba and my iRobot mop, I was just hoping this one would be so much better! It’s kind of noisy, it’s bigger than the old 880 I had so this one wedges itself barely under my wooden chest and gets stuck... also scratches my chest. The 880 could go underneath. 960 also constantly gets stuck in my zebra rug and crawls up the leg of my wooden table. Other Roombas would not even go onto the zebra rug because of the black trim makes it think it’s falling off a cliff lol So I wish this one would realize the rug is black before it gets stuck on it and tells me it’s “near a cliff”. And this error 8 bin issue in my opinion way too soon for any issues I don’t have pets or children so my hard non carpeted floors are pretty clean. I’m just happy they are taking care of it! I would hate to not love this company!

This produ t has met or exceeded my expectations. Pro- the multi floor adjustment is great. The edge detector work well. If you have a pet you are going to wonder why you didn't get one sooner

Great little vac but cannot handle the truth of a shedding German shepherd. I set it to vac after I leave for work and come home to empty the bin. With all of the hair the little bin fills up fast but do I recommend this vac, you bet. Would I buy another; yes to that to. It does a good job and after you empty the bin you can tell it to clean again with a press of a button. Noise level is minimal so you can still watch tv while it vacuums.

We affectionately named our Roomba 'Hunter' in the hopes that would hunt down dog fur on our floors and the cheerios and play-doh our kids leave behind. To that end, he is effective- diligently sweeping across our entire first floor sucking up whatever lays in front of him. On occasion he has struggled with finding his way home or gettIng out of corners but on the whole he is vacuuming so I don't have to, and that makes putting up with his navigational issues a little easier.

This has been awesome! I just bought my first house and it has dark floors, and I have a white fluffy dog, who sheds a lot! I run the Roomba everyday and my floors have never been cleaner. I was afraid my cat and dog would chase it but no problems! The only issue I had was that it will not always find its way back to the home base. I have moved it around a couple times to try to see if it was having problems and now it finally goes home after cleaning.

I did a lot of research before purchasing this vacuum and it has definitely been the best option available for me. My home gets very dusty, I have 3 indoor huskies, hardwood floor, and a couple of area rugs. I wanted a vacuum that would be pick up all the dust and pet hair that accumulates in my home and that’s exactly what this vacuum does! It picks up more dust and pet hair than I could possibly with my broom. Sometimes my floors look clean and I still run the roomba. It’s so satisfying to empty the bin and see all the dust and hair it picked up after a job, even when you thought your home was clean. I love that it cleans in rows and that it goes under my couches. A lot of dust and hair would be trapped down there and it was a hassle to reach with my broom. The Roomba hardly ever gets stuck, for the most part it will figure out how maneuver its way. It isn’t always able to vacuum or go over some of my area rugs but that’s fine with me, I’m glad it doesn’t get tangled up and or stuck on them. It does seem persistent with getting the job done and makes several attempts to go on top of the rugs before moving on. I would love for it to have more advanced features on the app like the higher end vacuums that allow you to set boundaries or “no go” zones but for the price I paid I am content with its current features.

I was not sure on getting this or the 980 cause we have carpet on all the rooms. It really does the job. With the regular programming you can totally replace conventional vacuuming. Just even and then use it for corners or tricky areas. It cleans a 700sqft area in around 2.30 hours, cause it has to recharge battery. Battery doesn't last so long but isn't an issue cause it does the job while I'm not at home. Really smart device, I'm happy with it so far

Easy to use, quickly setup. Louder than I thought it would be, not really sure what I expected in the noise level. It is quieter than a upright vacuum however. Requires daily maintenance in emptying the bin, need to pay attention to the sweeper. If it stops rotating, clean the hair out. My only gripe is the size of the bin, a minimal gripe Very happy with this purchase

This robot helps me out a lot. It does a good job at cleaning and the floors do feel cleaner. It does get stuck if it is running in the dark, so it is best to run it in the day or when you are home with the lights on. Since this one doesnt have the self cleaning bag, you do have to clean it out after every use. But to not have to vacuum myself, it has been a good vacuum cleaner for me.

Works great. Picks up everything including kitty litter and dust. Only downside is the small bin that needs emptying before the job is finished. Keeps the floors clean and makes house feel fresh.

I honestly wasn't sure how the Roomba would be able to map out my open concept, yet tricky home. However it manages to cover the house really well. I'm always surprised on how much it's managed to collect during each run, which by the way is daily if not twice a day. She's the hardest working item in our home beside the AC (it's Texas summer) and our washer.

This is my first robot vacuum. I am pleasantly surprised how well it cleans. I think the technology has a future but needs tweaked. There have been times when the robot does not make it back to the charging station on its own and i have to carry it back to the dock. It will not pick up where it left off and starts all over again it seems like.

This little machine is very effective. I have two dogs a yello lab and a new husky. Floors after one day during summer are covered in hair. This machine is able to clean floors everyday and maintain little to no hair on the floors. I do constantly have to empty out bin and check the debris extractors because of the husky but it does its job phenomenally. Also does well getting over little bumps/floor devider on the floor going into different rooms.

This makes my house cleaning so much easier. Keeps the floors spotless; covers all my surfaces; connects with Alexa; runs on its own schedule. I now don't have to spend time sweeping.

We have a large house, approximately 4,000 sq. ft. on the bottom floor. It is all either tile or wood floors, with several area rugs. The Roomba had problems at first, either getting stuck under furniture, or running out of battery before it made it "home" to charge. It seems to be learning a better cycle, and has made it back home the last few days of cleaning. It does a good job on the areas it reaches, we just need to help it from getting stuck. IRobot offered to send two free "virtual barriers" to help with the problem, but we have not received them as of this date. We have recommended to several friends that it was a good purchase, we just need to work out the bugs.

Bought this for my wife as a X-Mas gift as we have tile floors, shedding dogs and she was constantly sweeping. It worked well in open spaces but constantly got stuck underneath lips of kitchen island and cabinets. Thus we had to return it. Again, it worked well and pulled tons of dog hair but you won't know if it'll work well in your home until you give it a shot. The 960 was very quiet and did its job. But the wife didn't think it was worth the cost and aggravation.

It does not map out your rooms like its supposed to. Has trouble going over rugs on hard wood. Trouble with with vents. You have to pick up the whole robot and take it to the trash when you empty the dust bin or else you end up with a mess on the floor when you take it out. Has trouble connecting to the charging dock. Cleans well when it actually goes over the areas it supposed to otherwise.

I bought this for my elderly parents so that they could easily keep they house clean. My parents totally loved it. They were thrilled that it would automatically go back to home base after cleaning. My dad told me that one times, it ran out of battery before it was able to make back to home base and it keeps saying “charge me.” It keeps both their carpet and hard wood floors really clean.

We have tried other Roombas and returned them and purchased two of these. Let them do training runs and once they had the house mapped we then set them off daily. Wife commented that our allergies and better, I’m not snoring any more and the house doesn’t need to be dusted as often. Would definitely recommend to others. Haven’t tried any other automated vacuums to compare.

I am moderately disabled. Vacuuming causes my lower back to ache. Using the Roomba between cleaning lady visits is just the thing for me. Also, GREAT for under beds and furniture!
