I bought it on Black Friday and have used it daily ever since. I own two constantly shedding dogs and it picks up their hair noticeably. I still do a regular vacuum once a week but the amount of dust and hair is less specially onthe area rugs. Bin is small and I have to empty it onece before cleanning next time. So far, so good.

This product is a huge help around the house especially because we have 4 dogs and we need to vacuum multiple times a day for dog hair

I bought a second a week later. Greatest investment I’ve made in my house. Run it all the time and keeps the house clean. Took about a week to learn the layout of the house and then was great. Make sure works in enough light when I run it at night doesn’t always make it throughout the house.

Works great. I contemplated the more expensive 980, but decided that I didn't care for the longer battery life or an extra wall since the whole purpose for the was to launch the vacuum from work (so didn't mind the recharging break). The container is small, but typically does the job for at least 2 runs before I need to empty it (I use it on wooden floors).

Wow! Love this Roomba. I wasn't sure how well it would work, but it does an awesome job. It picks up a lot of cat and dog hair that you can't see. You need to be careful and pick up any and all Lego pieces as this thing will gobble them up. I was surprised how we'll it mapped out the room. It only got stuck once.

Bought this lil guy in order to help keep the our cat litter in check. Went for the stronger motor and really didn't pay attention to wifi/area mapping or addtl features. HOWEVER it is a great added feature, I found dead spot in my kitchen so I adjusted my router and now the whole place has strong connection. The new design of cleaning is much better and it does remember and gets better over time. I mainly run this on wood (no signs of scratches) and haven't needed to clean anything but the trash bin when its full. My WIFE hated how much I spent on this ….by the end of the week she admitted it was nice to come home and the place looked cleaner including the living room carpet (on top of wood floor). The final win was when I carried it upstairs and ran that guy in the bedroom, it cleans much better than we do (we cant reach under bed). We run it daily and sometimes an extra half job if kitty makes another mess (sometimes immediately after Roomba cleans the whole place). Each job takes about 35-40 min but I just use the mobile app and run it before we get home from work.

Well, first of all, let me start by saying I live on a 41st floor that has a view to the beach, we love our view! So of course we open our balcony and spend some time there, with all the wind that blows that up high some dust is expected in the apartment, I used to sweep the floor every couple days, as much as I could (I'm a full time student and most of my down time I spend it studying, not cleaning!) the dust in the apartment was getting out of hands (we also have two dogs) so we decided to get Rhonda (yeah, that's her name) and she has been so amazing!!!!! The floor had never been so clean, the overall dust in the house has incredibly diminished, I clean her pretty much every time she tells me to, she's not too loud, but of course don't expect her to be completely silent.. and she goes pretty well between tile and carpet, not to mention she gets between the chairs in the dining room amazing (although I think she has something personal against the chairs cause man she loves to fight them!) oh, and I love the new update!! It shows a map of the areas she went around, no more little hairs on the floor or dust all over, now we can walk around in white socks and they don't get dirty! Love love love Rhonda! It was definitely money well spent :)

Easy to setup and operate. The unit performs well on hardwood and ok on carpet. It is a vaccuum, so you can hear it exploring around the house (not silent). With dogs, we chose to operate only with manual command ... the schedule feature is easy to setup, but have not used. I really like it ... I would love you it if it was a bit less expensive.

Control from the phone/alexa. Maps its work too. You know where it's been and hasn't. Helpful stats and reminders for maintenance.

I was very skeptical about purchasing another Roomba. We had one of the very early on models and it didn’t work so great. It seemed to just bump off of everything and not clean the majority of the floor. I wasn’t sure that spending so much money on a vacuum was a good purchase, however, now that I’ve had it for about a year, I can’t see us ever getting rid of it. It has really cut down on the dust bunnies underneath the couches and tables that you wouldn’t typically be able to vacuum. We have four kids and a dog. I run our Roomba every day and typically empty the container every day or two. It took a couple days for it to map out the entire house but once it did, it does a really good job of cleaning the floors. I would definitely recommend spending money to purchase this Roomba I would definitely recommend spending money to purchase this Roomba.

This is my second roomba and it’s amazing. I love the mapping and when it completes a cleaning job, it gives you a map of all the areas it cleaned, square footage cleaned, and WiFi map with areas in the house with poor WiFi signal. The first few times I used it, the robot picked up a ton of dirt, food, etc but since I’ve been using it regularly, my house is much cleaner. If the bin fills up during a cleaning, it sends me a text and pauses the job. This thing is a great time saver. My wife makes fun of me because I like to just sit in the room it’s cleaning and watch it scoot around. I even put test pieces of food on the floor to see if it gets it...it always does. I also like the extractors under the robot that pull up the dirt, hair, etc. very easy to clean the rollers/extractors after a cleaning job. This robot isn’t cheap, but so worth it.

I purchased this Roomba after a few months of debating internally whether or not this was a necessity. Being a child of the ‘70s, I always err on the side of tradition when it comes to cleaning. Finally I made the decision to come into the new age and boy am I satisfied. This machine does a heck of a job and eliminates a lot of work for me. With 4 young children messes are made rather quickly and finding all of the “gifts” they leave can be a daunting task. This machine goes under furniture and takes care of business. Now as an aside running this machine every day is a bit impractical so don’t throw away your broom. My only beef is that this product went fron $449 to $399 2 weeks after I purchased it from Best Buy on the IRoomba website.

Three cats and a 10yo son results in very messy floors - fur, crumbs, everything. Picked this up primarily to try and cut down on the daily sweeping I was having to do. I have a mix of hardwood and carpet, and a good high lip between the two and was a little worried that it wouldn't be able to tackle everything. I was wrong to worry, this thing works like a champ! It's not meant to complete the replace the traditional vacuum but it was spectacular at cutting down on the endless sweeping I had been doing. Honestly wasn't expecting to like this as much as I did. I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 due to the battery life. It'll run for ~70 minutes before needing to recharge and given that the dude doesn't move very fast and has to 'feel' it's way around everything means that this is only enough to get about 2/3rds of the downstairs done. That said, very happy with the purchase overall and would definitely recommend to those trapped in the same endless-sweeping boat that I was!

Took some time to get used to how it cleans; however, We have not vacuumed since purchasing it. So it does it’s job. Battery lasts. Our home looks very clean with minimal effort. Does a good job but sometimes doesn’t return to base. It also gets stuck on simplest items. For example on sliding doors railings

I am an older person with 2 dogs. My golden retriever sheds constantly, even though I brush her daily. My gray hound mix is black and also sheds. Hers are short and black. I run my Rumba daily, cleaning it out with chop sticks as needed. My 960 model does a fantastic job on both my hard wood floors and carpet. I did research for 1 1/2 years before I made my investment and I am VERY happy with my choice. I have already told my friends about the amazing vacuum with a mind of its own.

Bought this for my wife to help out with vacuuming. Works great so far. Picks up a lot of dirt around the house. Works over deep carpet as well as any kind of flooring. Love it. Maps out what it cleaned to show you within the app. So far great purchase.

Had to replace the old 780 Roomba due to a circuit board malfunction. No one would work on it so I made sure I got a 4 year warranty to go with this one. Make sure you get a warranty. The 960 does the required cleaning. Have not set-up the remote by cell phone yet. The unit is expensive for a vacuum. I plan to use this one until the wheels fall off.

Surprised at how well it works. Picks up dog hair pretty well also which is a plus. And it also works great on carpet and harder surfaces. It even took on some water and came out fine thought I wouldn’t recommend it as it is an electronic.

Its a great product, made cleaning so easy, great features and best of all sends a report after the cleaning is done

This is a great product. Not having to clean the carpets anymore is very good. The suction power is very impressive.
