We have been using for about a month now, and are very impressed with the unit. We have some floor transitions that require the vac to drive up and over, and didn't think it would be able to. It constantly gets over them no problem. After a week or so of learning our house, it creates a grid across our entire first floor and vaccumes 90% of it very well. There are a few tight spaces that it doesn't always get, but to me, it's understandable. With the app, we have it programmed to go every MWF, and it does so without us knowing. It operates pretty quietly, and the bin is large enough that completes the first floor (about 100ft2) before filling.

This little guy get the job done. It can take a total of 5 hours to finish cleaning. It will go back to recharge itself and go back and finish cleaning where it left off. The dust bin is small and depending on how much cleaning it need to do you may have to empty between cleaning. I like to empty it between cleaning to help make the filter last longer. I also think that it help keep Big Papa running better. If my Roomba 960 breaks tomorrow, I will go and purchase another one immediately. It saves so much time with the house work, it allows me to get other things done in the house. I wish that I had purchased one many years ago. This is one of the best purchases I have ever made.

Have two dogs and no more dog hair floating around the baseboards.

This is a great little tool to run a daily so I only have two vacuum every two weeks it's great for picking up dog hair. The only drawback is that you have to empty the bin every time after it's used but definitely helps keep the house cleaner

First off, I want to say that I was a little skeptical of buying a $700 vacuum cleaner, which is how I thought of it, before I ended up buying it. However, now my opinion of it has completely changed. Roomba is AWESOME! Setting it and connecting it to my home wi-fi network was a breeze. And that was pretty much it. This thing learns the different & unique contours of your house layout, your furniture, etc. and adapts its course for future cleaning sessions. And it cleans so well. I've set it up for running everynight around midnight and it works like a charm. It takes itself off the charging cradle by itself, cleans the house, and goes back to the charging cradle once it's done, which is SUPER COOL! Now that I am off my soapbox, I highly recommend this and totally worth the money!

Delivery was as scheduled. Setup was easy. Does good job cleaning, although she backtracks a lot. does clean under beds if the clearance is enough. Has had some difficulty in returning to base. Still learning to use it fully.

Bought this for my mom. Cleans so well. Need one now for myself!

great unit, very powerful, quieter than past units. my 5th robot

A little pricey and no rebates but the technology and no fuss makes it a really good product. You do have to be careful with it getting hung up on cords and paper. But I highly recommend this if you have a pet, it really keeps the pet hair picked up.

This device is great. It picks up way more than our upright, and takes less work. It is slow. But let it do its work all day and your floors will be spotless. My only complaint is I wish the dust bin could hold more.

This is a great little added member to our family, we named it Jynx. It makes our extremely busy lives much easier with two kids and two dogs tracking in dirt and sand and with the dogs shedding. We have all hardwood and tile flooring which needed constant sweeping before. This has made my life much easier and given me one less thing to worry about.

Keeps my floors cleans. The robot will get lost and cut out due to no charge. But otherwise best purchase I have made in years. Mapping Your home on the robot is not intuitive.

does an ok job, keeps getting stuck or lost, won't go back to docking for recharge on its own all the time. i find myself baby sitting it more than using it freely which is a real bummer. I wouldn't recommend. Haven't bought any cheaper models, but i imagine, they do just as much for a lot less.

I absolutely love this vaccum. It sucks up more than my Shark Rocket.

It is amazing how much Ms Roomba picked up, AFTER I vacuumed with my Kirby vacuum cleaner. I wish the battery would last a bit longer but it would not deter me from buying it. And I can't wait to buy the Mopping Robot next!

First things first, my son has named our Roomba 960 - Kevin. It is the best big purchase I've made in a while. Kevin keeps our floors clean and does a great job! The app works really well and is user friendly. I love the simplicity of just pressing the clean button and Kevin begins his chore. I typically make sure that any loose cords and other items are picked up off of the floor. It's easy to clean the compartment of debris and the hepa filter makes the house smell so fresh and clean after Kevin has finished vacuuming. I've seriously considered posting a photo of Kevin on my social media account and announcing our new addition to the family, I love him that much. I definitely recommend buying this product and welcoming your own "Kevin" into the family.

Love the Roomba 960. It is as described for the most part however I am a little disappointed that it will not go over a couple of my rugs that I consider to be low to medium pile because I have 2 other rugs that it will go on & they are just as thick & even have a little more texture to them. This is the only reason I give it 4 stars. On the plus side it is easy to clean, I like that it works with my Amazon Echo Plus & I can tell Alexa to start Roomba without having to actually push a button, & I like that it cleans in a pattern. I will say I bought an "off brand" robot vacuum before I purchased this one & it does just as well as far as my iRobot EXCEPT it cleans in a random pattern & I have to watch it & use a remote. But on the plus side, I have 2 Roomba's now. :-)

After approximately one month, the iRobot 960 started squeaking so loudly that everyone in the house could hear it and we have a two story home. I put some WD40 on it today but being a petroleum based product i know it will eventually eat the plastic wheel at the front of the Roomba. Plus, this thing is NOT quiet. I don't know what the decibel level is but it makes quite a racket even if it isn't squeaking. Cleaning the unit is fairly simple but it does require regular intervals of taking the rollers off and blowing out the dust that invariably collects inside the unit. I can't testify to the other units but one other thing is the 960's price tag. Very steep.

I love my roomba and have since i opened it out of the box. i had to clean the bin multiple time when i first let it run (hard to believe all that was actaully on the floor). now it will do the whole 1st floor (or 2nd floor) and only need to clean bin after. The 2 reasons i gave this a 4 rather then a 5 is 1. it sometimes get stuck for no apparent reason. like right in front of the first place. not sure why it isn't that often and isnt really a big deal. 2. having a 2 story house all hardwood i wanted to buy a 2nd docking station. I could not find the docuing station for this model only for other models and the docking station is not the same in that it is alwasy on etc. So had i been able to find that so i could only move my roomba up and down the stairs and not the docking station too) would have poped this to a 5 star
