We have just moved into a house that was double the size of our old one. Our previous house was about 1200 sq ft so easy to keep up with cleaning but still some hairballs around. When we moved in I just couldn't keep up vacuuming every single day. So we looked into getting a Roomba. We needed one that could map the house and auto recharge and auto resume. It was definitely well worth the money. We have named him Rover. It took Rover a few times cleaning to get everywhere, but he eventually did and makes me realize how much dust collects in a house. Having the ability to set a schedule is really nice. It also looks like the app is updating to allow this model to pick a room for him to clean. The house feels so much nicer. I do like the reminders of how to upkeep him like cleaning the sensors and when things should be replaced.

This is my first robot vacuum and I was hesitant to purchase at first because of the price. After about a month with the vacuum I am happy with my purchase and would definitely buy again. It took a little getting used to but now my family knows to pick up before leaving for the day and let the Roomba do its thing without getting stuck. If you live in a home with someone with long hair (3 girls in my house) you need to pay attention to the rollers and side brush, they pick up a LOT of hair which degrades performance. Now that I know to look for this I check each week and remove the hair. The virtual wall is awesome and really helps if you have a use for it. I used it for the room I had my Christmas tree in and it works as it should. It doesn't pick up everything, which was the reason I gave it 4 stars, but it does pick up enough that a quick walk around the house with a cordless vac will take care of anything that was missed. Overall this is a great product and the app / Alexa functions work better than I thought they would.

This vacuum is awesome!! I was not sure since there was a lot of mixed reviews. I have 2 labs and it picks up all the hair with no problems!! We are on the go a lot and it is one less thing to worry about! It’s nice to come home and the floors are always clean!

Cleans well. I didn't enable the wifi because of privacy issues. Unfortunately, you can't enjoy the remote capabilities unless you agree to their, which I consider an invasion of privacy, terms and conditions. They should make it clear in their advertising of the product that you have to allow them to send all the data about your house to them to do with as they wish.

This Roomba does an excellent job! It cleans both hardwood and carpets well; it even vacuums with more power on carpet. Though it seems to vacuum in a random fashion once it's finished I can see it has covered all the areas it can reach. I love coming home to a freshly vacuumed house!

We purchased the roomba 960 after trying out a friends older roomba model. The newer models, 960 or 980 have a form of GPS built in that allows the unit to go up/down the room or diagonally depending on the room. There is a app for android or IOS that allows you to connect to your roomba through wifi . This allows you to start your roomba from anywhere. It also gives you a map when cleaning has completed to show the area it has cleaned. The model 960 battery lasts about 75 min. When the battery is low it will go back to its home base and charge. Once the charge is completed it will go back and finish cleaning where it left off. We have a cat and dog and it picks up the litter, hair and grass clippings that are brought in. Works great on hardwood flooring, throw rugs and carpeting in the bedroom. Our cat loves watching the roomba as it cleans. Our dog has problems with normal vacuums but does not even care about the roomba running through the house cleaning. Great product. We run it every couple days.

The Roomba has been the best addition to our household. Ever since we bought the Roomba I feel like the house is cleaner all the time. It's also entertaining to watch it as it cleans. It's a great product and I wish I would have bought one sooner!

It's a great product to own when you have multiple pets. I don't like how quickly the trash bin gets filled. It's not even full when it says it's full. We have some rugs it gets stuck on.

We love it. It makes nightly picks up so easy. I love the difference we see on the carpets as they are harder to clean then non carpeted floors. If it misses something it goes back to pick it up , its the most diligent cleaner ever.

Cleans everywhere. Places that I did not clean before with my upright. I now have clean carpeting.

I have a Yellow Labrador, so of course he sheds. I run my Roomba at least once a day and it keeps my hardwood floors and carpets looking good and I don’t have to do a thing except empty the debris and hair it picks up. I highly recommend this if you have a pet that sheds.

We have 2 dogs that shed like crazy and 2 kids that are total slobs. I was a little doubtful that the Roomba could keep up with it but (for the last 3 weeks at least) it cleans remarkable well. You just have to make sure you clean the rollers and brushes frequently. Hopefully it holds up!

We have two dogs and this is a great item to have in our house. It runs when we are not home and minimizes the amount of hair and dander that collects by the end of the week. It has issues and has been getting caught up in our smaller rugs, so we are looking at how we can fix that without having to pick them up each day. Other than that, it works well and the empty feature is tricky at first, but when you figure it out, its a cinch. We found that we paid over $100 MORE FOR IT at the TC store. So, when I tried calling to get the PRICE MATCH guarantee, I did not expect the fight I had to go through to get the match. I think they expected me to give up after lying to me stating that I was looking at a USED item, even after I sent the links that clearly show, NEW PRICE. It was painful, but they eventually honored the price. I do not suggest calling the 888 number for help, I finally got help by using the CHAT online service.

Took a little bit of learning for us and the Roomba- where to start it and in which direction to point it so it maximizes the coverage. It works extremely well and does a super job - like it a lot!! May consider the models above it next time.

I LIKE THIS ROOMBA BUT IT GOES IN CIRCLES A LOT AND YOU NEVER QUITE KNOW WHERE IT'S GOING TO GO. IT DOES NOT DO WELL TRYING TO BUMP FROM FLAT FLOOR ONTO A RUG - VERY THIN RUGS IT WORKS - THICKER ONES IT DOESN'T. FOR ME, SETUP WAS DIFFICULT.

My wife loves this roomba. She downloaded app to phone. all she does now is click her smartphone

It does great but I don’t think it came with enough instructions on how to clean it up and the rubber insides look like there about to fall apart after a couple of uses. The charging dock kind of suck and the roomba pushes it around.

I do not recommend this product if you have a lot of furniture it gets stuck a lot and gets confused. It vacuums the same areas over and over but not always completely. It has yet to get to all of the rooms in our house since we got it before Christmas. We will be returning it.

Been using the 960 for about 2 weeks with no issues so far. It is being used on the wood looking tile floor which is about 650 square feet of area (according to the app). It takes anywhere from 1.5 to 2 hours to complete the job and the battery last the whole time, provided it doesn't get stuck on something. Only had a couple of issues with it getting stuck but in my opinion not the fault of the Roomba. It knocked over a baby gate on top of itself and was stuck on that. Once I got back home and moved the gate just pressed clean and it continues where it left off. No complaints here so far well worth the money. Haven't put it on carpet but works really well on the wood like tile. The app is nice and very convenient to know the status. It will let you know when it's completed the job or if it's stuck on something. My dog on the other hand cannot stand this thing and would total give it 1 star.... I only wish it had a viewable camera to watch the dog attack it while it cleans.

We love our Roomba! The app makes it easy for scheduling cleanings or when an extra clean is needed when unexpected company is coming. Only downside, a little on the loud side, so run when you’re not home. Also, buy a warranty. Our first one was unexpectedly quit charging after a few months.
