This is my favorite Christmas present this year - and it wasn't even for me. I bought it for my wife. I had my doubts at first but, this Roomba has proven that it is well worth the money. Once we learned a couple little do's and don'ts, it's worked great. I can't believe how much dirt it collects in our house every time it runs. It's great that it can go under the couches and beds. Our ground floor is just over 3000 sq ft and it covers the entire space - over tile, throw rugs, and carpet. We no longer see the little balls of cat hair or the crumbs from the 3 kids all over the house. The app is great because we can see how it has mapped our house and it tells us if it gets stuck. The one feature I'd like to see is if you could designate areas of the house - based on the map that Roomba created - that you don't want it to go.

Love the irobot. It’s a bit louder then I thought, but easy to use setting through the app to run when not home. It gets into small low places and corners. The tank is small, but a fair size compared to other brands.

Really enjoys the Roomba 960. Wish I could have got the 980, but the 960 will do.

I can’t believe we lived without this for so long. This is a “must have” for any house or apartment. So much quieter than an upright vacuum. We run it at night, while we sleep...never wakes us up...and in the morning, we’ve got clean floors! Genius!

I have to say that I am impressed with my new roomba. I didn't know if it was worth the money but after installing wood look tile and having pets I knew I needed help. It really helps me keep the tile free of pet hair and it works great on my carpet.

an excellent irobot. We don't have a pet or anything but we do have a toddler and this cleans up all the mess after the dinner everyday. Also we do have carpet floor. I totally recommend it.

This thing is pretty cool. You do need to keep an eye on it while it learns your house.

This product has saved me. I run it daily and it cleans thoroughly. I didn't know these things actually worked this well. If I had, I would have bought one years ago and saved myself an immense amount of time vacuuming.

I can't believe the amount of dirt it picks up after a normal vacuum. You must get the replacement parts and maintain it every few months for the best use. I have 2 in my house... and i used the first generation prior.

It’s a robot, it does the job. It gets stuck sometimes but if your careful to remove obstacles and small rugs and cables you’ll be fine. Wish it could have more smart options but at this price point it’s really ok.

Love Roomba, most people would get upset if they got an appliance as a gift but my husband got me this for Christmas and i was so excited i forgot about everything else and wanted to set it up, and it is Amazing!!!

Haven't used our Oreck since we got this one. Good job cleaning. Picks up well. Two small drawbacks or it would have got 5 stars. Sometimes have to empty it before it finishes and sometimes it gets stuck. One time it locked itself in the laundry room by closing the door.

We purchased the Roomba 960 and couldn't be happier. This thing is incredible. The amount of dog hair and dust it picks up is unbelievable. I will never use a regular vacuum again. Works great on carpet and hardwood. Do yourself a favor and buy one.

Really like the Roomba as it's suction power and technology is top notch. I love how it maps out the room, and covers the entire area - unlike other vacuums that just sort of crisscross the room. However, at $600 I'd expect it to not have an issue transitioning from hardwood to carpet. My carpet is folded over at the transition, making it maybe 1/2 inch above the floors. Every time the roomba gets to the carpet, it turns around - only going on it if I set it there. Once I place it on the carpet, it does an amazing job. I'm trying not to return it, but ultimately might based on this alone - I mean whats the point of buying something that vacuums for you if it cant go everywhere?

I absolutely love my iRobot - Roomba - I have it sweep / vacuum the house three days a week and I use the Braava Jet m6 to mop two days a week. My floors are gorgeous and I really notice a difference when they do not run.

I love the roomba! We got it really didn’t know if we was goin to like it or not. But we use it everyday and we love it! We have dogs and they lose hair all day and it cleans up bout everything that’s get on the ground!

our new "Scoop" is a hard worker. We bought for ho.e at the shore. Sometimes getting sand up can be a challenge on hard floors. Its brush sweeps it out before it gets sucked up. He is a powerful little cleaner otherwise.

The Roomba does a good job on open floors and carpet, gets under beds and hard to reach places, but can't get under sofa's or recliners that are lower than 5 inches, and runs out of battery before it gets back to charger. other than that does a pretty good job.

We love this vacuum. It does not replace a traditional vacuum, but does a great job of picking up about 95% of the pet hair. We have 4 dogs and a cat....too many animals...basically, petting zoo, and this vacuum handles it with ease. We love it!

Vacuum a home it is a time consuming activity that not all of us have the time to do.... this robot does it and in a great way..... so wonderful and the wifi connection, possibilities are endless. we love it.
