I really wanted to try one of these out, just to see how well it could handle the pet hair, and it works pretty well. While the bin is small, and fills rapidly, it handles the stuff fairly well. The bin needs to be cleaned out fairly often during its cycle.

love this thing. we can set it too clean the house while we are gone. it is quiet, small and compact. Sits in the corner and is discreet. down loaded the app on our phone, easy, simple and time saver.

I am so glad I bought this, I have a dog and cat and it works great on my tile, hardwood floor and my carpets. I did have to tweet a couple of things to make it run trouble free but I am so pleased with the performance of the Roomba

I have a a golden retriever that sheds a lot. My home has carpet and tile and the 960 gets all the hair from both with out any trouble. My only complaint is the collector box needs to be emptied frequently due to the small size

Works good, sweeps very well and I dont have to chase it, but it wont connect to app through my phone bluetooth which is diappointing. Seems sturdy so far and the noise level is not too bad

Overall this Roomba has been amazing. Does a great job of cleaning and especially picking up dog hairs and cat hairs! I would highly recommend it to anyone that’s looking for a robot vacuum!

Read the comments from various Roomba owners. You'll get a pretty good picture of the pros and cons. I am enjoying my robot because it vacuums quite well. It can get stuck under furniture or in tight spaces. It is pretty powerful for its size so make sure to clear the vacuuming area. If it can fit under furniture it will vacuum there...which is something we never do. You'll find that it'll pick up much more dirt/debris than you realize is on the floor/rug/carpet. The amount of time it takes shortens the more you use it. Overall, I gave it a 4 and not a five because of the number of times it have gotten stuck and didn't complete the entire vacuuming job and what you have to do to prevent this from happening. Other than that, I fully enjoy the convenience.

I upgraded with this one and it is great if you have pets or foot traffic. You can use it by syncing with its app on your phone, but I just go old school and run it directly from the machine buttons.

The roomba is one of the best investments I have made for my home!!!

This is the best Roomba for the price ($299 on sale). This Robot doesnt miss anything.Highly recommended for busy people.Just be sure to clean the dust bin sensors almost daily.

I have a Samoyd dog. He is in the house at least once a day and leaves his hair. The Sweeper picks up alot but it also leaves rolled up hair on top of carpet. I have to go around and pick them up. He sheds that long hair just with a shake.

We had real good results for the hardwood floors, but cleaning the carpets tends to pick up a lot of the fibers in the carpet. Not sure if that harms the carpet. But the bin is full of carpet fibers. Overall it does a great job.

Just turn it on and let it go. Even returns to recharge by itself.

For a 1900 SQFT house, the bin gets full pretty easily, so the recharging ability makes no sense. On the wooden floor it is mostly an average performance. But on carpets, it is amazing.

This was a Christmas gift for my wife. It has become her favorite gift of the year, and it might be mine too. My review is based on just a few days, but we have ran the Roomba (Rosie) everyday. My wife is obsessed with her floors being clean. With three dogs and a toddler that has not been easily accomplished. After just a few days she is extremely impressed. Something about vacuum lines in the carpet gets her all excited. The Roomba has done a much better job than I expected, and we love that it goes places that the regular vacuum cannot / does not. Places like under the bed, up under clothes racks in closets, etc. There is a noticeable difference walking through our house barefoot. We are very happy with this purchase and already considering a second one. Only thing I wish I could change is the size of the dirt reservoir.

I have lots of floor space and it passes by 2xs , it does take an hour and 20 mins to clean , but when it’s done it has picked up everything. I like I can control from my phone with the app.

We replaced the carpet in our house with wood flooring and bought one of these robot vacuums. So far we have been happy with it and it is nice tour floors are getting cleaned when we are not at home.

I love the Roomba so much I purchased a second one for another level of my home. I have the 960 and it is well worth the money especially if you have a dog that sheds non-stop. Empty the bin daily and that's it.
