I have used earbuds in the past and most people can't hear me or vice versa. This product has excellent clarity for both me and the person on the other end. I did have a small problem keeping it on my ear until I got it adjusted correctly. If you are out on job sites or around a lot of noise you should consider purchasing this.

No volume control on this Bluetooth.. I have pulled up this model on the Jabra website still no mention of volume control. The music and video playback volume plays low.. But overall on a voice call the voice is clear and volume is good....

This earpiece works wonderfully! I dropped it; still worked. Ran a good long time on a single charge. Just a bit too big for my ear, otherwise 5 stars!

Overall, I like the Jabra Steel. It sounds good and haven't had anyone complain how I sound, even in noisy outdoor environments. Here are my nitpicks that caused me to give it three stars.
1. It doesn't seem to last as long as advertised. After about 4-5 hours on conference calls, it is almost ready for a charge.
2. The door to the charging port gets in the way, when trying to plug it in. This is due to how compact the door and it's plastic hinge being very short.
3. Where the buttons are located don't seem logical. The power button on the bottom is placed right next to the power light, so when I am pressing the power button, my thumb covers up the light that tells me when it turns on. The call accept/end button is on the end (near your ear). When I press the button to end a call, I have to grab the bottom and top of the arm for support - if I squeeze too hard, it ends up muting the call instead of ending.
4. After a couple hours, it hurts my ear to wear.
I would only recommend this product of the issues I described aren't a big deal for you.

The Bluetooth setup was easy and works very well, the only issue I learned about it was that it is was heavier than I thought. As a small ear piece, you want comfortabililaty and quality. I personally didn’t feel comfortable

Purchased because my Plantronics Voyager died after 4 years of use. Very comfortable to wear, and has very good battery life. I am in sales, and use my headset, on average, about 6 hours per day on talk time. It is lighter than the Voyager, but gets the same talk time. What I miss about the Voyager is the ability to increase/decrease the volume on the headset. Otherwise, a great replacement!

For the most part you can hear her phone calls and music well. But when you are in a noisy car or with the windows down it is very difficult to hear

The Jabra Bluetooth was a great purchase. The noise cancellation feature was excellent, the person on the other end of the phone didn't here any background noise. I would highly recommend this product. The product description really stands true to its word about being able to handle harsh environments. I would recommend this product to people who work outdoors and in noisy environments.

It is really a good unit, I have owned many bluetooth headsets over the years including 2 Bose. The Steel so far is a good unit and works well. I am a little disappointed in battery life however. It claims 6 hrs talk time and 10 days stand by. Well not so much it will last all day left turned on and used for possibly an hour and a half or maybe two of conversation and standby the rest of the day. But to be honest I have never found one that lasts anymore than that, so they all exajerate the battery life.

Sound of incoming calls was fair and callers said my voice quality was about the same- not horrible, but somewhat muffled. I really liked the idea of it being so rugged, but the buttons seemed to be harder to push than on most headsets. I also could not find a configuration that was comfortable for me AND felt secure. I work in an outdoor, noisy environment and move around a great deal so all in all it just didn't work for me. I did hear good reviews from others, who used the device, so it could just be me. I use a headset A LOT, and it did get very uncomfortable by the end of a long day. Battery life seemed excellent.

Traded in my jabra stealth for this since i work construction. Sound is good but the rubber ear piece needs work. It doesnt sit far enough in the ear. There is a noticeable volume difference if you push the ear piece in. Annoying for someone in a loud environment. The firmware cannot be updated on a windows 10 computer, bad oversight by janra

I had one for a couple years and I used it pretty much every day. I likely charged it too often, but the battery life was still decent at the end of its life. Call audio was great and music sounded decent, except at the end. Eventually the rubber shell dislodged and I think moisture got into it, as the volume never went above about 50% at the end. Talk time is easily up there with the best, but pure music time was only about 2 to 3-hours, or a tad more, if I kept the volume down.
I bought my new one, on-sale for like $70 and it's really great again to have a rugged bluetooth earpiece. I dropped my previous one a minimum of 200 times, and even into a puddle once, and it worked like a charm. I may buy a third, just to have in waiting for the future.
It's easy to pair and connects to new devices quickly asn easily.
Hope this helps.
Regards from Florida
Jimmy

This is a great Bluetooth headset for people who work outside and generally sweat.
Pros: stays snug in ear without ear hook.
Sound quality is great.
Noise cancellation is great.
Easy to sync.
Cons: takes some time to break in ear piece, so may hurt for a couple of weeks when wearing over 4 hours.
Poor battery life, in having to charge it at least one more time to make it through a day.
Charging port can be a pain to get the micro usb plugged in.

Easy & fast connection to phone - convenient on / off button. Well built, solid.
Downside - I would like a bit higher volume option, but this is a consistent with Jabra products vs. other brands. Charging port cover is nice, but can be a bit tricky to open, especially if you keep your nails short.
