Couldn't fit my ears
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Tried all ear tips and hooks but they just wouldn't securely fit in my ear. On top of that the audio quality was comparable to apple earpods- I expected much better for roughly $70 more in price. Returned them, wouldn't recommend for people who are looking for quality audio.

The bluetooth connection is spotty.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My phone will be on me and the sound will still break up. I had some LG’s that did the same thing. Bluetooth that breaks up when in use is extremely annoying to me. So I feel like that this was a waste of money. I would not purchase the headphones again.

Great wireless sport headphones
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased these and the Bose SoundSport and ended up sticking with the Jaybirds. The reasons for choosing these over the Bose were: 1. Sound. The Jaybirds had a much better sound, especially on the low end than the Bose 2. Fit options. The Jaybirds come with 3 different size ear tips in 2 different styles (foam and rubber), and 3 different size wings. Additionally they can be worn under the ear or over ear (sport fit) 3. Look. Some may not care how they look, but the Bose were very bulky and stick out of the ear. These are much more sleek 4. App. The Jaybird app allows you to configure different sound profiles. Full disclosure, I did not spend much time with the Bose app. I will say that finding the right fit with these headphones was a bit of a challenge and was also frustrating. I had to use different videos online to find tips for properly aligning the wings for the sport fit, but once I found a fit that works, I was not disappointed. These headphones fill the ear, blocking out most outside noise (the Bose did not), so you may or may not want this depending on use. I have not used the built in mic so I cannot speak to how well it works. I've used these headphones for 6-7 runs/workouts around 30 minutes to an hour each time and they are still at 60% battery life, so far so good. The fit that worked for me was the medium sized rubber tips and small wings with the sport fit.

Not the most comfortable
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These headphones were not the most comfortable to wear. It was hard to find a size to fit in my ear and then it was hard to get them to stay in my ear while working out. If you plan to workout hard or run, these are not for you.

Battery sucks
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ear buds have good sound. They advertise 8hrs of battery life but I normally only 3.5-4hrs. I bought these mainly because of the battery life it said they had. I do not recommend this product

Tried 2 pairs but returned both
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So the fit and sound quality were good. I like the app that controls the sound. But the headphones kept cutting out during outdoor walks. I tried two different pairs of X3's and they both had the problem with the bluetooth connection.

sounds good can't charge
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These buds have a charging system that is very painful to use. It comes with a cradle that is a major pain to use. I have wasted hours trying to get it to charge. I am returning it today with my extended warranty.

Worked great for....1.5 months
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These headphones were fantastic for 1.5 months. Unfortunately they started to exhibit intermittent connectivity problems about a week ago. Then on my long run yesterday, music was cutting in and out then the headphones turned off about 30 minutes into my run. (they were at 80% when I started run). Was never able to get them to turn back on. When I got back home, tried charging them. The led did light up red, and after a short period, they were fully charged. Tried turning them on, and they now won't even turn on even on full charge. Bought them July 20th, and on Sept 09 they have given up the ghost...so disappointed.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This purchase was ultimately returned. I really liked the packaging and styling of these headphones. Unfortunately the sound quality was not as expected. I tried all the supplied tips but just couldn't get the right tone to come through.

Posted .Hello Blkhwksfan,
We appreciate your positive feedback regarding the Jaybird X4. We are sorry to hear that your X3's do not charge. Please send us an email at [email protected] and we will get you taken care of to improve your experience.
Please try these troubleshooting steps that can help to resolve the issue of your headset's battery:
-Computers are the best and safest method, as is anything 1 AMP or less.
-Car chargers produce a much greater power supply and should be avoided.
-Over-charging the battery will quickly reduce the life of the headphones, so in addition to monitoring the power supply, limit the charge time to 2.5 hours,
-To get the most out of your battery it is recommended to charge the buds when the low battery status is indicated.
-Avoid charging your headphones after exposure to sweat.
-Make sure charging port/cradle is clear of any debris.

Awesome earbuds
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I own several pairs of headphone and buds I bought for several different reasons. I have the Apple AirPods which I love the sound and the way they fit but I don’t like the controls and that they don’t isolate sound but that’s great when I ride my bike or run outdoors. I have the Sony NC wireless for travel and I got these Jaybirds for the gym and cutting the grass. This is my 3rd pair of Jaynirds and are so far the best. The fit with the comfy buds help block out sound and help keep them in my ears when moving around. They are lighter thathe the Freedoms and don’t have the block hitting your neck while working out. These are very light and almost don’t feel like i have them on. The sound is very full and has amazing bass for the size. They connect every time without a problem. The app that a companies with them works awesome. Set the equalizer to your preference and it stays with the pods not the app so when I go from my iPod and Apple Music the sound is the same when I switch to Amazon music on my iPhone. I’ve had these 3 months so far and am very happy with them. I do get about 8 hours of battery life.

Great headphones, until they die.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I can’t seem to get a pair of these that will last even a year. They will just suddenly stop turning on even when the battery is fully charged. This is well documented and unfortunately unresolved.

Terrible Charging Solution
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Would give it a "zero" star if I could. This product would be half-decent (at best) if it had a better charging solution. The charging solution is truly idiotic and a step backwards. It requires you to use a proprietary holster in order to charge the headphones (who does that anymore!). You have to pack the "special" holster for your trips and if you forget that, you are SOL. HAD I PAID MORE ATTENTION TO THIS "EXOTIC" DESIGN FEATURE, I WOULD HAVE NEVER BOUGHT THESE. Lucky for Jaybird, I generally don't like to return items (my bad!). PLEASE DO NOT BUY THESE.
