Not sweat resistant
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This product is NOT sweat resistance. I have now gone through 4 pairs in 7 months. All 4 stopped working after using them only a few times. Do not buy these if you sweat.

Wireless Earbuds Fall Short
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Jaybird - X3 Wireless In-Ear Headphones don't make the grade. At this price point you would hope that you purchased a quality product, but right from the start I had issues. Within the first month the volume controls stopped working. The control to connect to your device also works intermittently. I would not recommend this product.

Jaybird app is best part of headphones
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I consider myself to be a bit of an audiophile, i have headphones for any and ever occasion. The set i use more often than any of my other headphones are my BT earbuds. (I am a college student and having the freedom to wear them anywhere without them getting in the way is excellent). This is the 7th pair in my trial for daily drivers. I have tried the JBL Everest 100's, JBL Everest 100 Elites, Bose SoundSport's, Bose SoundSport Pulse, Bose Quiet Comfort 30's, Bragi True WIreless headphones, and now the Jaybird X3. There are a few things i look for in a pair of wireless earbuds that i may not look for in say a set of Reference headphones. They need to have; - Excellent sound quality - Good bluetooth range (I'd say a minimum of 10ft) - Good comfortability, either stock or modifiable with replacement ear pieces - Waterproofing - and Lastly, Good battery life (Around 8+hours) Usually i will use any one of these as a sort of independent culling level, which is how most got eliminated (the JBL 100 elites and the Bose QC 30s from the neck piece). Now on to the good stuff about the X3's I have only had the X3's for a few days now, however, with the Jaybird app and customizable sound stage, these are by far the best sound quality headphones i have tried to date, with the small wings and medium foam plugs, they have pretty amazing passive noise cancellation, as well as provide a sound stage that doesn't sound like sound got stuck in your head and is trying to escape. They are also fairly waterproof (worn in the rain), and comfortable to boot. Now a couple of things i do not like; - The clip system they provided for use during physical activity is pretty complicated to figure out without a diagram - The battery life is somewhere around 3 hours (which for $129.99 headphones is a bit short) - Because of the packaging the medium silicon plugs are warped and almost unusable, i had to heat them with a heat gun and put them in a mold to get them back to their original shape. (they come on the headphones and are pushed through a hard cardboard cut out which pushes in on the buds in mulitple places leaving uncomfortable creases that allow for sound escape.) - and lastly a non-convenient carrying case, it is basically a coin purse with no way of attaching it to anything unless you want to cut a hole, or run a cable through the little cloth logo that is sewed on. All in all, if you want a pair of headphones to wear at the gym or while cleaning these are definitely the headphones for you, if you want them for your daily driver, to use while at school, work, or just walking around town, i would look into something different like the Bose SoundSports.

Posted .Hello Nimzy13,
We are sorry to hear that your Jaybird X3's won't turn on. Please send us an email at [email protected] and we will get you taken care of to improve your experience.
Please try these troubleshooting steps that can help to resolve the issue of your headset's battery:
-Computers are the best and safest method, as is anything 1 AMP or less.
-Car chargers produce a much greater power supply and should be avoided.
-Over-charging the battery will quickly reduce the life of the headphones, so in addition to monitoring the power supply, limit the charge time to 2.5 hours,
-To get the most out of your battery it is recommended to charge the buds when the low battery status is indicated.
-Avoid charging your headphones after exposure to sweat.
-Make sure charging port/cradle is clear of any debris.

Just don't like these
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I simply do not care for these headphones (Jaybird - X3 Sport Wireless In-Ear Headphones). They need frequent charging, don't fit well in one's ears, and sound quality is barely adequate. The product sure is expensive for the product quality. I recommend getting other brands of wireless headphones.

Okay Product, Not great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good product for the price, but I returned them and spent $50 extra for the superior Bose product. The Jaybird comes with a couple dozen ear silicons and foams, none of which worked for me. Once I got a pair of foams to work, I found out the sound wasn't that good; less low-end than Beats, and less clarity than Bose.

Broke after 3 weeks, sound sucked
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These only lasted 3 weeks and then one speaker quit. Then a few days later they would not power on.I used them 3-4 times a week for 2 hours a day. The sound was horrible as well all high pitched tones, no middle and no base. I spent hours trying to adjust them with the app and the sound always sucked.

Poor Earbuds Will Not Maintain Connection
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We returned these earbuds. The Bluetooth would not stay connected for any length of time and was very annoying the constantly be hearing "Headphones Connected" or "Headphones Disconnected" every few minutes. I have a pair of Jaybird X2s and never once had this issue. Back to using those.
