Best bluetooth sports headset
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fantastic! My previous bluetooth headset were the Powerbeats2 (last gen). They were good and held up for about 2 years which was a record for me. I just got the Jaybirds 2 days ago, but am very impressed after my first two workouts. The first day, right after buying them and without taking time to set them up, I had 'fit' issues as they wouldn't stay in my ears while running. The next day, after reading Jaybird's tips on fit, and playing with the many attachment options, I hit gold using the 'memory foam' tips along with the small size hooks...also using the clips to remove slack in the wire so it's fairly snug against the head - went for a run with the new 'calibrated' fitting and it didn't budge an inch, didn't even have to readjust the ear pieces mid-run, which I always have had to do with other headsets. As far as audio - they are fantastic! I think better for sure than the Powerbeats2, much richer and cleaner sound. They sound great out of the box, but there's a companion app that allows for fine tuning the mix to whatever you want. Very cool. Bluetooth pairing was super easy and quick. Haven't tested the range as I mainly use them for working out and usually have my phone in a pocket or in my hand. Have also not made a phone call, so can't comment on call quality. Bottom line - while fit might seem frustrating at first, if you take the 10 minutes to read the lit/watch a vid from Jaybird, and find the right combo for you, I think there's flexibility to find a fantastic, secure fit that will provide you with great audio quality. For the price, I believe it's the best option available right now when it comes to bluetooth headsets designed for fitness. I only hope they prove as durable as my last pair and last me a couple years. My only hesitation was my interest in the apple airbuds, and whether I should get a cheap $20 pair to tie me over until they become available, but after trying the Jaybirds, I'm confident I made the right choice. Maybe for my next pair I'll try the next gen of airbuds.

great headphones for a great price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.the jaybird x3 are great earphones if you're looking for something wireless. the only con is that they sometimes fall out of my ear, but otherwise you can download the jaybird app and customize your sound, bass, etc with music you're listening to. charging is easy and the battery lasts quite a while. easy bluetooth connection and you can also connect to more than 1 device at a time. in the box, they also come with sound cancellation earbuds you can switch out. simple operating buttons. awesome headphones in one.

Good earbuds, but cord is too short for neck wear
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Cons: * The cord is too short to hang around neck. When you turn your head, it snags on skin, pulling the bud out. Have to hang in front or clip it tightly against back of head. A longer cord would allow them to hang a little at the sides, but not put the full weight of the entire cord directly on the ears. This is a big deal because how you wear them is one of the largest aspects of the experience and will be a primary factor in my next purchase decision. * Custom charger makes it so I have to keep this extra piece on me everywhere I go if I want to charge on the go. Mildly annoying but tolerable. * Media controls are missing ffwd and rwnd (play/pause, skip fwd and prev only) Pros: * Good app, works well. * Battery life is good, usually lasts most of the day. * Bluetooth works well. Have zero problems with connecting, reconnecting, staying connect, or interference. * Controls are simplified

Great overall headphones
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve had my x3 headphones for about a year and these things go toe to toe with the higher priced headphones. They have amazing sound quality which you can customize with their equalizer app. These are comfortable to wear over long periods of time too. I take them on plane rides, on runs, and to the gym and they’re great in every situation. Being able to customize the fit makes these great for everyone. I also got my fiancé some because they’re that good.

Great Wireless Headset but a few flaws
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I started to get the Powerbeats 3, but I found that they did NOT come with Geek Squad protection, and there is no AppleCare available for Beats, so that was a deal breaker for me. I love the fit of the earbuds. The fins help them stay in by contouring your ear. I love the sound, EXCEPT when watching a video. The audio is delayed on some applications & videos. I'm hoping this will be fixed in a future firmware update. The charging system is ok. Love the fact that it charges quickly, but you have to get used to not knocking the headset off the charger when trying to plug it into a USB port. The Mic/charger also shifts when turning your head, as this mechanism adds weight to the headset, making it shift (to the side you have the Mic/charger on, depending on how you wear it) when you move. Pairing was extremely easy, and the range is exemplary. With the Jaybird application, I was able to turn up the bass and personalize my sound. Love that. Overall, it's a great headset, especially for the price. Just know there are a few things you will have to get used to.

One of the best wireless earbuds you can buy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.+ Sound quality is great + The sound can be adjusted on a system level in the app + You can listen to two devices at once + Battery life is lengthy (8+ hours) + Solid level of water resistance & can take a beating + The base package includes Comply foam-based ear-tips + Lots of ear-fin options - Connection can get a bit spotty at times, especially in populated areas (Ex: Downtown Houston) - Included silicone ear-tips can fall out on occasion - Charging the earbuds require an adapter than can easily be lost - There's a tiny bit of delay in the sound (it's most noticeable on YouTube & Netflix) Make no mistake, these are a great pair of earbuds. But the X4s are out now & are seemingly at the same price. So while I would recommend these earbuds, I'd suggest to wait a bit for the price to go down in light of the launch of the Jaybird X4. But even with the X4 being a thing, the X3 more than holds up today as a great pair of earbuds.

Nothing but right
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was spkeptical at first, had gone through a skull candy (left ear lost connection, sound was not that good, bad bass). Sony something .. phone calls were all muffled. Then read the reviews for this one, was not too sure because of it size (but then I had forgotten I have large ears), perfect fit, no loss of signal, walked away about 15 ft with wall into restroom, sound was still going strong. The app for the EQ has all sorts of options and the sound is just right, the right lows, the right highs.. beautiful. Not sure what I will do now with my Shure SE846... Will have to try on the plane, to see how much noise they can isolate. So far so good.

Excellent sound and great long range connectivity
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was very surprised at the overall sound quality after customizing the included EQ app. I also successfully tested bluetooth reliability by moving through most rooms in my home without any loss of connectivity. Unfortunately it took about 30-45mins to figure out the proper way to adjust the ear wings and head strap. Once things were correctly installed I was never able to shake them out of my ears! Highly recommend!
