Preferred Headphones for walks
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love my Jaybird Headphones. Never have a problem with them, being a wireless product. Don't get me wrong about headphones you connect into your phone, but they tend to get in the way. With the Bluetooth feature, they are great to have with a long battery life. I listen to it on my way to work, turn them off clocking in to work and just tuck them under my work shirt. Has pretty intense sounds with the Jaybird App.

Very good product
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Short and simple. Sounds great, feels great in ear, easy to use. App. is very useful, no issues so far. I have read all of the ridiculous reviews about the charger, after you use it 3 or 4 times its very easy. Ya you have to carry it with you but..... don't you have to carry a charging cord anyways??? Who cares about the little piece you need on the end just leave it attached to the cord and you will never lose it don't see what the problem is.

Great for Workout !! Poor Battery Life....
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The x3 sounds and fit great. I used them every day at the gym but I can only get 3 hours tops as it is being advertised for 8 hours. I'm on my 3rd pair and they all only last 3 hours. could be a bad batch of manufactured defects?

The Search for Perfect Earbuds Is Over.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First, a little bit about the old model, the X2s, for comparison. I have been long searching for the perfect bluetooth earbuds. This search eventually led me to the Jaybird X2s about a year ago. While having hands down the best sound I'd ever heard from earbuds, period, the caveats had me making reservations. First, the battery was finicky. It really only liked to be charged from a laptop USB port- so using it with my battery bank would show that it was fully charged and then the battery would last about half as long. Don't even think about leaving them plugged in too long either, or they would literally discharge! On top of this, it seemed sometimes the battery would randomly be worse than other times and just conk out on me. Even the battery indicator on my iPhone would show them at 100%, then 60%, then 20%. It didn't update often enough to provide a realistic look at where the battery was. The build was nothing to write home about either. These were durable, but entirely plastic. The cover over the Micro-USB port was very, very flimsy and appeared as if it could snap at any moment. The sound, though, is what kept me a Jaybird loyalist. When I saw the X3s had landed, I ordered them immediately hoping some of my concerns would be remedied. First, the battery problems on the X2. No more with the X3s- they work fine on battery banks, and the battery life itself is longer than ever before, realistically pushing 7 hours over and over. Wow. The iPhone indicator now updates with each loss of 10% all the way down to 40%, then it jumps straight to 20. A marked improvement - plus, you can see the exact percentage at any time within the new MySound app. The plastic build is now reinforced with metal highlights including the stems under the eartips- a nice touch to build and durability that doesn't seem to add weight. The earbuds themselves are smaller to provide easier use with hats/lying in bed/etc. And the sound- the sound! It's cleaner and crisper than ever. Basically the same- maybe a wider soundstage (albeit very slight)- but I'm glad they didn't change it. I use the flat signature because it's what I loved so much about the X2s, but if you're a basshead or whatever you can now change your own response curve (EQ) within the Jaybird MySound app. My one worry going into the X3s was the move from MicroUSB to a proprietary "cradle." I have to say, though, I actually prefer it now. I was worried about having to carry a proprietary cable around, but it turns out the cradle plugs into micro-usb so I can just bring the cradle instead of a whole new cable in my bag. The move to a cradle also makes it very easy to start charging and also allows more significant water/sweatproofing to the housing of the earbuds. I ended up preferring the new charging method- go figure. Overall, the X3s are not only a more refined X2 but a marked upgrade in almost every category. These kick any other earbuds under $3-400 to the ground with incredible sound- and they're freaking bluetooth. A real lifesaver since my new iPhone doesn't have a headphone jack. But now that these are my daily music experience, that doesn't matter anymore. And they're $50 cheaper than the old ones at launch? Well done, Jaybird. Well done. This is one of the best purchases I've ever made.

Suprising Upgrade from First Generation Headset
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been trying to put off getting new headphones. I originally had the Jaybird Bluebuds X. However, mine recently bit the dust so I decided to fulfill my Geek Squad Protection plan. I opted to replace them with these over the Freedoms because the Freedoms have a 4 hour battery life and get the rest (+4 hours) with their proprietary charging clip/battery... Knowing me, I would lose that lugging it lugging it around just for the extra battery life. PROS: MySound App really makes this an amazing headset. You can tune your music depending on what you want to listen to. e.g., Bass Heavy, High Mids, etc. Comply Eartips - Love the noise isolating quality of these. Makes me truly lose myself in the music. CONS: Proprietary Charging Port/Clip. Man do I miss the Micro-USB adapter! What I've actually done is used two sided tape to taped the Charging Port/Clip onto my nightstand. That way, I don't lose it. I haven't had any run-ins where I have had to charge it before going to the gym but I know eventually I'll need to give in and buy an extra charging clip and keep it in my car. But in hindsight, both the Freedom and X3 have the proprietary clip.

Love them!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was skeptical about buying these headphones due to comfort. I've always stuck with the over the ear headphones but I was surprised when I tried these. They fit comfortably. I had to play around with the different attachments a little to get the most comfortable fit, but when I did I could hardly tell I was wearing them. The sound is great, and the app to adjust the sound settings is great.

Best earbuds I have ever heard.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been skeptical of Bluetooth headphones and earbuds until now. Being a musician and a ridiculous audiophile, I was sure that the quality could never amount to the tried and true wire sets. Recently a pair of my favorite earbuds stopped sending any audio to the left ear, so I went to hunt for an upgrade. I had heard a lot of good things from friends of mine who had gone wireless and loved it. However, they had the $130 Beats earbuds, and I have never been impressed with Beats (you essentially pay extra because they have Dre's name on them), so I went with these. Here I was, buying from a brand I had never heard of, a product I knew nothing about. I had every doubt going into my first test. First, I was unimpressed. Then I saw the MySound app and decided to download it, in hopes it could coax at least something lively out of these flat sounding things. What I heard blew my mind. The quality is absolutely amazing, and instantly shattered any doubts I had. Unlike most headphones, you don't have to settle for one sound. With the MySound app, you can have literally infinite combinations. It's a day and night change from what I heard without it. My description of what I think it sounds like could hardly do justice to these things. Go get a pair right now, and you'll understand. 10/10 100/100

Great headphones for a great price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These headphones sound great, they fit in my ears well, and they don't take too long to charge. The My Sound app is pretty polished, and some of the audiophile presets that other users have made sound amazing. My main complaints are there's no way to update the firmware from the app, and when my phone is in my pocket the music has a slight skipping issue.

Great for the gym
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought the SOL Republic and took back the next day. The X3 were on sale for 99.00$ and can't be beat. Includes a grip of different ear pieces for comfort fit, good sound quality, and don't come out when lifting or doing cardio. Connect easy to my phone and the equalizer app is awesome to customize your tunes. Better than Beats for the $!

Good earbuds for exercise
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Given the price of the earbud to the performance, you really can't beat the build quality of these earbuds. They are easy to set up and the app works well. Good for running and lifting.

Jaybird X3 rocks
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these just 2 days ago and went to gym and used them twice for my training sessions. Before I bought these I read at least 10 reviews from highly ranked sources such as cnet, wired, tech radar and many more. My official opinion so far is incredible and very strong sound for such small earbuds. Use the foam buds ones they are the best for isolation and sound quality. If your in for a strong companion for your training like im am well don't hesitate, buy these headphones. Last but not least I gived this 4 stars out of 5 because I trully believe that no product is perfect but 4 stars means its close as it gets.

Great sound quality but...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These earphones play music beautifully, I love that I can change the bass and other things through a simple free app. I wish I could keep these, but I guess I just have weirdly small ears. I really wanted to love these, but I can't since they fall out of my ears constantly. I've tried the different ear hook things and they keep popping out of my ear (even the smallest they give you), I have tried taking off the ear hook things and they fall out even more. Its such a shame honestly. I wish they offered smaller ear hook things, but I have looked online and I can't find any. So, I will be returning them. But if you have normal sized ears this will be a great product for you, if you have small ears this will be a big problem.

Mic is only downside.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these Bluetooth after trying the Jaybird x2, Plantronics backbeat fit and a few others. These are by far the most comfortable bluetoot earbuds I have ever used, the sound is totally amazing, especially with my sound app. Now the down side, the microphone is completely garbage. Idk about the experience of other users, but I tested the mic out for hours trying different contacts, phone, Skype, face book and for each one of those calls no one could hear me. That was the deal breaker in returning them because I make a lot of calls for work from my iPhone 7.

Great headphones
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am usually pretty skeptical when it comes to Bluetooth headphones, mainly of the quality. Not only did these surprise me with the quality, the price point was also a huge factor. Probably the best Bluetooth or any headphones I've ever used. Booming bass with great quality. Highly recommend.

Excellent sound
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been using x3’ for over a year and a half. They still are the best wireless earphones. The Jaybird my sound app makes them sound so better. Little to no distortion depending on the preset. The fit is absolutely excellent and fits perfectly in ear even inside a helmet.
