Jaybird X3
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Loved my pair of X2s. Needed to replace my set and struggled between getting the cheaper X2 and the X3s. I wasn't wild about the custom charging, but heard that the sound quality of the X3s is better. Wow! X2s are good, but really like the X3s. NP with the fit and love the app.

Good sound, just didn't fit
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I dont normally write reviews, but I did so much research into headphones before my gf bought them for my birthday, and we had it narrowed down between the X3's and beats x. She went with the jaybirds and they sound good and the app really helps a lot. I just could not get them to fit my ear comfortably and we took them back for the beats x and they are much more comfortable, for me at least. I consider myself to have average ears, and if the jaybirds fit you, then you'll like them, but you have to try them on first

Good earbuds with big problems
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wish I could say I love these headphones. The sound quality is great, microphone is great, comfortability is great. The one big problem they have is build quality. I had bought my pair about 4-5 months ago and they are already broke. The remote is coming apart and the right earbud no longer works due to separation of wires internally. So long story short if you get these headphones BUY THE WARRANTY!!!!

What A Shame
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I need a set of wireless earphones for my running routines, after reading the reviews I decide to give a try to the X3. The sound is really good and the companion application really allows you to adjust it to your taste, I really think they sound better than the BOSE Soundsport and they are really comfortable. The big problem is the connectivity issues. If I place my phone (HTC M9) in my pocket the sound comes and go, I try pairing them to my Gear S3 smart watch, but if I lower my arm the issue comes back. I contact Customer support and they suggest the following: 1. Quickly, but firmly press the power button 8 times then hold for 5 seconds. 2. Repeat Step 1 with the remainder of the control buttons. 3. When finished, connect the headset to the charger. The LED on the headset should turn red if successful. Continue to charge the headphones until fully charged (times may vary). That didn't fix the problem, I also try them with my wife's cell (Galaxy S6) no luck! So I think I just have a defective unit, therefore I went to Best Buy and exchange it for another X3 set. Unfortunately, I experience the same problems I did again all the steps mentioned before with no luck! I end up exchanging them for the BOSE SoundSport, Wich sound quality, in my personal opinion, is not as good as the X3 but, at least I can listen to my music without interruptions during my exercise. It is a shame that such a good sound and comfort became pointless due to that connection issues.

RMA'd 4 times due to charging issues
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Most will agree is that these earbuds offer superb quality sound. Although some people complained about the fit , I was able to get a very comfortable fit using the right combination of comply tips and fins. However, these headphones have to receive 1 star from me as they have recurring issues with charging and powering on. I have now had 5 different Jaybird X3s! Until the last time, this occurred withing the 1 year warranty, so support agreed to RMA the buds. Each time these were RMA'd I was left with no earbuds for 2 to 3 weeks. Each time support offered the same fix, which was to power-cycle the buds and/or reset to factory defaults. This never works. Below is my history with these buds, including the date and the result. Since these are now out of warranty, I am done with my journey with this manufacturer/model of earbuds. Not much more I can say other than I am very disappointed with these earbuds. 11/24/16: Purchased from BestBuy 01/02/17: Charging issue, reported to Jaybird support. They agreed to RMA 01/24/17: Received replacement X3 buds 03/11/17: Charging and static noise issue reported to Jaybird support. They agreed to RMA 03/31/17: Received replacement X3 buds 04/25/17: Charging issue - solid green led when connecting to charger. Will not power on. They agreed to RMA 05/12/17: Received replacement X3 buds 09/02/17: Charging issue - solid green led when connecting to charger. Will not power on. They agreed to RMA 09/15/17: Received replacement X3 buds 02/24/18: Charging issue - solid green led when connecting to charger. These are now out of warrant. As a result, I am now searching for a different manufacturer

Loved at first, hate 'em now
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had these only 2 months. At first, they were great. I loved the noise cancellation, I got the perfect fit for my ears with the included accessories, and they sound amazing. Then, the trouble started. I the tips started falling off. At first, I thought "Okay, this is my fault I need to be more careful." So I was. Didn't really help. I'd be super careful taking them out of my ears after a workout, made sure the tips were both there. Walk through the gym, get a drink of water, stretch and by the time I went to take them off my neck to put them away...tip was missing. I went through every darn tip that came with the headphones. They just don't stay on. And the memory foam tips are not my cup of tea, but I went through all of those too. I wanted so much to love these because of everything else, but those tips just don't stay on the headphones. And I'm not jamming them into my ears either. I used them exactly how you're supposed to use them. The reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 3 is because I've contacted the company and have yet to hear back from them regarding this issue. I was going to buy another accessory pack, but if the tips are just going to fall off again, I'd rather go with something else.

These Bluetooth headphones are amazing.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I never thought Bluetooth headphones could sound this amazing. Being able to see what the battery level is, is also a plus for me. The only compliant I have is with dongle, but other than that these little guys are great!!!

Excellent Wireless Headphones
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have use Jaybirds for years. My most recent one were the X2's. Now I have the X3's. They are better in every way than the X2's. The Mysound app allows you to tailor the sound to your liking. The bass is deep and the highs are crisp. They take a little fiddling to get the right fit but once you do they stay in just fine. They also block out the outside noises. The Comply tips seem to be coated with a sticky coating which aid in keeping the buds in place. I highly recommend these to anyone.

Unique color and sound perfect
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the cam color because of the unique look which I like. But I wish it was a little bit darker color. But that is being nitpicky. The one minor problem I am having is with the eartips. I am having a hard time getting them to fit right for me. And the foam ones that came with it don't fit the ear buds at all. But once you get the app downloaded they pair quickly. And they sound better than the sure wired ear buds I already own. Once I solve the eartip problem they should be perfect.

Good for 2 months
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are a great pair of earphones for the first 2 months of use. This review may come off as a fiery one-time occurrence, but I assure you that it is not one of 5/5 reviews posted by someone an hour after he or she bought the product. Candidly, these are some pros & cons of the x3s before larger issues arose (skip if you would like to get to the larger issue): PROS: -Phenomenal Audio Quality -Charged quickly -Adaptable earpieces offer customization -App provided listening options other brands do not CONS: -the play/pause/volume buttons were always delayed regardless what bluetooth device I used -proprietary charging piece meant that I could not use the headphones if I lost the piece even for a short period of time -white plastic gets stained from sweat BIGGER ISSUES: About 1.5 months into using these earphones, the app stopped working. I reached out to Jaybird, and after a couple days, they emailed me back telling me to reinstall it. (I had already tried that before I called them.) I could do without the App if it meant the headphones still worked, so I kept on using them. Slowly, the range of the headphones decrease, and charges lasted shorter periods of time. Eventually, I would charge them for the recommended time, and the green light would turn on to show they were fully charged. I would go to turn them on and then they would turn off immediately. I reached out to Jaybird requesting a warranty claim. It took them longer than 48 hrs to get back to me each time I responded to their messages, and when I finally got in contact with someone, their customer service as a joke. The Jaybird rep asked me to take a picture of the headphones, cut them down the middle, and take a picture of the cut headphones. Then I should email Jaybird both pictures. I honestly thought this was a scam. The customer service had been so unprofessional up to this point that I thought I was being scammed. The customer service representative could not open an image from google drive, a .jpg, or .png. Eventually I sent him a pdf, and he was unwilling to scroll down to see the second picture of my headphones. The whole process was a hassle. Once I finally received my replacement pair, they stopped working within 2 months. Absolute joke. Additonally, the foam ear pieces fell apart within 2 weeks of use, and the fins stopped attaching to the earbud after some time. Go buy some beats, bose, or airpods. You might even get better durability from a pair of earphones at a truck stop.

Battery issue after 2.5 Weeks
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First off, I would like to say that these headphones are great for the month or so that you will be using them. They were easy to setup and pair on the first day I got them. Were fairly comfortable (For me at the very least, others have said otherwise). Had great bass, was fairly balanced, and along with that it had an equalizing app that was phenomenal! BUT with that said by around 2.5 weeks or a month for others, these headphones have stopped charging. The microphone battery no longer shows an orange light that signifies charging. And leaving it in the charger for at least 2 hours even without the light shows no change in its charge overall. While trying to find a way to fix this problem online I ran into tons of complaints by others who have had the same problem with their battery not charging at all. Some who have even returned up to 5 pairs of this headphone and just giving up in the end to a new pair due to the faulty battery. Sadly I will be using my warranty to get a new pair of headphones from a different brand as well.

Excellent choice for noise isolating Bluetooth
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For some reason my voice does not pick up well on many headsets, with people frequently complaining that they can't understand me. I also have partial hearing loss in one ear, so noise isolation and incoming sound quality are critical to me. After trying multiple well rated headsets from Bose, Beats, and Plantronics, I finally found what I was looking for in the X3. The Jaybirds sound excellent, and by using the included clip to keep the mic close to my face, the clarity of my voice is excellent. An excellent Bluetooth headset for conversations, and more than decent for casual music listening, they're also a bargain at this price.

Disappointed & overhyped
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Go Bose or Beats. I’ve been trying to find a good set of Bluetooth headphones and really wanted to like these. The sales person told how great they were, that she loves them, and how comparable to the more expensive ones these were. I checked the reviews and thought I’d scored. Then I got home and tried them out. They fit nicely, I liked how they comfortable they are. Then I paired them and was shocked at the poor sound quality, no bass at all. For $100 plus I was disappointed beyond belief. Compared to my gf’s beats there was no comparison but think they are way overpriced. I took them back immediately and got the Bose for $20 more and the difference was night and day. For $149, $50 less than the Beats, the Bose are by far the best fitting and sounding. Even with the app to adjust the X3’s the sound they still sucked. Bose required no adjusting, they just sounded great right out of the box and fit much nicer than the Beats. Bottom line... go Bose

Amazing
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I LOVE THESE BUDS. They do exactly what I want them to do and nothing extra or unnessesary which is stay in my ear comfortably while I work out and walk around casually while maintaining a good connection and not falling out. All of the attachments and ear tips and clips it come with seemed like a lot when I first got them but they really help you dial in your preferences. The only problem I have with them is that they fit slightly big in my ear because I have smaller ears. Additionally the sound is VERY good for the price point especially with the eaqualizer app. I highly recommend.
